Sadot and his crew of four were wonderful. His estimate to trim/thin a 40 ft Chinese Elm, Bougainville tree, and remove one tree that was growing wild and close to the corner retaining wall was the most reasonable out of the four estimates I received. The crew arrived before 8am on a Tuesday and work promptly started at 8am and finished before noon. After the work started, I decided to ask him to also thin my Japanese ornamental tree and one other tree out front. He only added a small amount to the original estimate and did the work mostly himself since his crew was busy out back. The elm was trimmed and thinned beautifully. Same with the other trees. Clippings were cleaned up both in the yard and out on the street. Marbella works in the office and responded promptly to all my inquiries and requests for proof of insurance. I highly recommend this team and will definitely work with them again. Sharing some before and after photos of the huge Chinese elm. read more

Couldn't have asked for better. Honestly super happy and impressed with the job they did. The owner was the first one to contact me (quickly and directly) by phone, instant quote, finished pruning my two citrus trees (grapefruit and tangerine) in less than an hour, cleaned and hauled in total less than 1.5 hours. Very fair pricing compared to these other highway robbers. During the service, the crew were all easy peezy and respectful. They've gained a loyal customer! read more

Sadot is an absolute professional from start to finish. Sadly, I had a 40+ year-old eucalyptus tree that was probably 60 feet tall that had died after several attempts to keep it alive. I got three quotes and opted to commit to Mendoza's tree services. They arrived on time with all the proper equipment and did a really beautiful job taking care of what needed to be done. The crew was efficient and they did a wonderful cleanup job afterwards. I highly recommend them for any tree removal jobs that you may have. read more

Fast response on yelp/text. They confirmed estimate on text and were right on time for our scheduled appointment. They were really fair with pricing. But not only was their pricing FAIR, but they demonstrated over the top service. They were very clean after they were done and no debris was left behind. I would hire them again they also brought their own shredding bin so none of the tree branches had to be used in my community trashcan. If you need a tree removed and somebody to GET THE JOB DONE. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a vendor in a long time. These guys were professional, on time, and did a great job overall. Their price was fair. I needed a tree removed from my backyard and made a Yelp project request from another vendor. Sadot from Mendoza's Tree Services was both the first to respond and had the lowest quote, with the closest service date. On the service date, Sadot texted me and kept me updated with his arrival time. He and his crew were so efficient that they were done within an hour. He honored the quote and did not try to add anything else on. I definitely will be calling for anything else tree related! Thank you!! read more

We hired Sadot and his team twice. The first time was after we purchased a home that required 5 years worth of tree and brush clearing services. After sending Sadot a request through Yelp, he immediately made an appt the same day to visit our home and assess the property. We immediately made an appt for tree service. The day of service, he was on time with a team of workers, everyone was securely harnessed and he completed the work timely. He gathered and cleaned all the debris. For the second visit, we hired Sadot and his team to clear our property of weeds and to clear the entire property of foliage that went uncared for by previous owner. Again, he arrived on time with his team, he completed the work and wouldn't take payment until we were completely satisfied. Sadot is an expert, honest, reliable, timely and a pleasure to work with. His work speaks for itself and to his pleasant surprise two of my neighbors hired him for similar work! read more

They did show up on time. I had told Sadot what I needed done when he came to give me an estimate. After they said they were finished, I went out to inspect and found a lot of debris they hadn't picked up. There was one area that still had weeds. I asked him about that. There was animal scat on it, and he asked if I had pets. I do not have pets, but there is a lot of wild life in the area. He said, "We don't do that." If they don't do that, they should not take jobs where there is a lot of wild life. If I hadn't asked, he would not have mentioned it. I picked it up myself. I emailed Sadot, & he said they would come back. I pointed out the sections where they hadn't pulled the weeds & left a lot of debris still on the ground. He left one worker to do the cleanup. I specifically pointed out what else had to be done, & they didn't do it. They also moved and knocked over a lot of my garden decorations, used my ladder & bins & did not put them back where they belonged. When I went out to do some light pruning, there was still a lot of debris. I picked up 4 bins of it myself. There's still a lot left. I am 84 years old & can no longer do some of the things I used to do. That's why I hired someone to do it! I paid them for a job poorly done because they did take away a lot of stuff, At this point I give up & will have to find someone else. In the 35 years I have lived in this house, I have never had such poor service for yard cleanup. I'm happy for those who were able to give him such good reviews. I am not one of them. read more

I needed two small trees and some branches cut down and removed from my home due to rats. I received estimates from three other companies ranging as high as $700 and as low as $480. Mendoza's Tree Service quoted me $250! They were polite, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Sadot and his team are excellent to work with. I first reached out to Sadot at Mendozas Tree Service a few months ago when we first moved into our new house to clean up a lot of the over growth from the previous owners. Sadot quickly responded to my inquiry and was able to come out that weekend for service. He was incredibly responsive and ON TIME. Sadot even came out once to help me plant some plants that I simply didn't have time to do, which he then proceeded to clean up other areas without me even asking. His help was very much appreciated. Lastly, his pricing is very very fair. I highly recommended reaching out to him if you need service done. read more
