We had a great experience with Juan and his tree cutting service. Juan personally came to our home to provide a free quote for trimming our very large oak tree. He took the time to explain the process in detail, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were completely aligned on how the job would be done. The estimate was very reasonable, especially given the size of the tree and the level of care involved. On the scheduled day, the crew arrived on time, was polite and professional, and worked efficiently. They did an excellent job and left our property clean and tidy when they were finished. We really appreciated the clear communication and attention to detail from start to finish. Highly recommend! read more

Contacted Vazquez tree service, through Yelp project service. I like that it came with both those service providers that met my filtering and those that came with both Yelp star ratings and qualifications and no qualifications just star ratings. Mr. Vasquez replied promptly and after reviewing my scope of work gave me a quote. There were three quotes, Vasquez tree service was in the middle of the quotes. I contacted them through Yelp project and we arranged the day, Vasquez tree service was on time, cleared an area to take the tree waste and began work. Four and a half hours of work (including the fetching of a replacement for broken clippers) and they were done. Efficient effort and we were happy with the cost and final results. read more

Responded quickly, gave me a great price and then set up an appointment for Monday. Didn't show up on Monday and didn't seem to know who I was when I asked if they were coming. Said they could come Tues as well if necessary. Didn't hear anything all day Tuesday so reached back out and made a 3rd appointment for Wednesday. He said 7:30-8:30am, I said great and then at 7:40 texted him and he said maybe 10. Texted me an hour later saying he couldn't make it. Not professional at all. read more

Carlos and his team came to remove our 25-30ft Yucca tree, they removed it along with a large rose bush within an hour! He is responsive and very attentive to anything needed. Very knowledgeable on all trees and told us it was a good thing we're removing the tree now as it can do potential damage to the wall alongside it. He has great recommendations on what to do with the space and we will continue to use his service for all our tree removals/hedge installations! 11/10 would recommend Vazquez tree services! So happy with how our tree turned out! It was overgrown and mishapen...but I didn't want it trimmed back so much it looked like just a stub. Our neighbor got their tree trimmed by another company and it looked awful! BUT we picked the right company....the guy came out, did an AMAZING job thinning out and evening up our tree. I couldn't be happier...it is EXACTLY what I asked for....looks so good! read more

So grateful for a smooth experience! We needed a big tree trimming project handled, so I reached out to the best reviewed folks in the area. Several had good communication, and seemed like safe, reliable choices. But I have to say Carlos was the most polite and professional. His communication was stellar, which put me at ease. He came to give an estimate the next morning. His team of four were out within a few days of the intial request, and worked so diligently! They worked as a team for a full day, and came back the next day to haul everything off and put everything back to We offered to pay 50% of it at the end of the first day, so they could get their payment started, and Carlos even declined saying, no need, they would happily close out when all complete. All in all, really an A+ experience. Would hire Vasquez Tree in the future for any related needs (though I hope we don't have any needs, ha). Thanks read more

We needed a planter cleared of all bushes and a 20' palm tree so we could build a deck. I sent out a bid request through Yelp and Juan Vazquez was the first to respond with a very fair estimate. We scheduled a day/time and he sent me a message the day before to confirm the job. He came with 2 additional guys for the job. They did a great job, and also encountered an access problem for the stump grinder, which we eventually figured out. They did a great job and cleaned the area around the planter after they were done, including skimming the leaves, branches and dust that landed in the pool. Great guys... I would hire again & refer for sure. read more

We recently hired Vazquez tree service after submitting a request for a quote through yelp. "Vazquez" was the first to respond and had over all the best communication answering all my questions. The care they had to help us get our project done, it was a no-brainer to move forward with Vazquez tree service. When they showed up to remove the 10 trees and stumps we had, it was like a machine. They were in and out and did the work without any dumps or hiccups. I will be hiring them to finish the rest of our yard remodel. I'm no stranger to redoing spaces and I have to say by far, some of the best I've worked with/ hired. IF YOU NEED THEIR TYPE OF SERVICE- HIRE THEM! read more

I have been staring at my poor ficus tree - post hack job - for months, but finally got to a spot where I was ready to do something about it. Trusting the many solid Yelp reviews, I sent a request for help to Vazquez Tree Service... and probably within less than 5 minutes Carlos reached out to me. Shortly after he came out to give the tree the once-over, and clearly explained all my options as well as answered my non-tree experienced questions patiently in non-industry words a typical consumer can understand. I had to take a bit of time to pull my $$ together (I have an extremely tight budget), but Carlos gave me all the time I needed. When I was ready & texted him to proceed, Carlos was very responsive. After the job was done, Carlos laid down some mulch to give my soil some TLC in anticipation of the future tree I am having Carlos guide me in the selection of, based on the available space & my desire to have that next tree stay clear of the overhead wires as well as be pollinator-friendly. Bonus: Carlos was able to save & replant my fig tree, which was right up against the roots of the ficus so I had resigned myself to it being lost due to collateral damage. Not on Carlos' watch! I am so, so, SO happy!! And I have learned my lesson: Always stick with a professional. I am sticking with Carlos & Vazquez Tree Service! Yayy!! read more
