Good job quality work out. Will strongly refer and recommended. Price is reasonable.

The crew showed up promptly! The foreman, Manny, introduced himself very pleasantly. I liked that he went over the planned activities for clarification and precision. He was thoughtful and provided details for me. They were efficient and used time wisely by delegating tasks: Manny was also knowledgeable about tree species and growth patterns. The crew was thorough and professional. Everyone was very considerate too. The cost was also very reasonable. I highly recommend this business. Thank you so much! read more

Just like customers return to a restaurant because they enjoyed the delicious food and attentive service, we called back Affordable Tree Care (ATC) again today because of our excellent experience with their tree trimming and cleanup at our home in Arcadia over a year ago, on January 20, 2025. We are once again delighted with their hard work and sincerely grateful to Luis, Jorge, and Madison's crew for their continued dedication and outstanding service. Once again, thanks to Affordable Tree. Highly recommended, and truly affordable care! read more

OMG! I highly recommend this business! Luis gave me a quote over text that was lower than the other quotes I received to cut and grind the tree trunks. He also texted me a copy of his contractor's state license, workers' compensation insurance, and Certificate of Liability Insurance, which gave me peace of mind. Within two hours of our phone conversation, he had his crew, led by Jesus, at my home. The crew was efficient, friendly, and provided great customer service. They did an excellent job and left the area clean. I absolutely love the final result! I can't say enough good things about this business. Great service, great communication, and a great price! read more

I have used this company twice for my tree trimming and removal needs and had a great experience. Luis is very communicative and offers a fair quote. He had Humberto come on the same day I called him for to give me a quote. I like that he records a video of the walkthrough and sends it to his customers to ensure we're on the same page. They have a lot of workers and equipment to get the job done efficiently and cleanly. After a long time of consideration, I sadly had to remove 2 big trees in front of my house. I came home last night and inspected the work. They did what they promised and left the yard neat. They were respectful of my home. They gave me their advice and demonstrated a lot of knowledge of the tree species. I will use them again in the future of my tree services. Check them out! read more

Amazing. Amazing service, speed, cleanup, and price. Plus, they're good people. We highly recommend them. We had four overgrown ficus trees. Affordable Tree Care crew showed up, and in less than four hours, the trees were gone, the stumps were ground down, and they cleaned up our roof and yard. We're highly impressed. read more

Luis and his crew did a great job. They were very responsive, gave me a clear and fair quote, and were able to come out the very next day. The crew worked quickly and did a great job trimming everything while keeping the trees looking natural. I also asked if they could trim an additional tree at the last minute, and they were very flexible and took care of it on the spot. Professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend Luis and his team and would use them again. read more

Just moved into a new house and got referred to Luis and this company by the previous owner. A team of four workers came super fast, worked through extreme heat, and did an excellent job cleaning up the hedges and trees in my back and front yards -- making sure the trees weren't hitting the house or power lines. For all the work they did, I though their fee was more than fair. I intend to hire them back next summer for our next trimming. Great work, guys! read more

Excellent crew of guys! Everyone on this team was friendly, professional, responsive and took care of my requests. They were on time, showed concern for our neighbors, did a fantastic job, and did exactly what I asked for, quickly and for a good price. Not to mention the best job of cleaning up afterwards that I've ever seen from a tree service. I will definitely hire them again in the future. read more

When looking for a tree trimmer I got three different estimates. I was going to go with the cheapest one. Then I looked at their Yelp rating (2.6/5 stars - 53 customers) and their reviews weren't great. I decided to look up a fourth option on Yelp with high ratings (4.9/5 stars - 2.8k customers) and positive reviews. Affordable was one of the first to pop up. Luis was quick to respond to Yelp messages and came out the same day as the others, within 2 hours of messaging. His bid was close to the highest, but after negotiating, he came down to the second to lowest. AND said that he could come out the next day. HIRED! The next day three of his crew members showed up, did a walkthrough and they got started. They said it could take about two hours. After just over an hour they called me out to take a look. There were close to 8 GUYS out there! Incredible! Then I had a few notes on final trim, like at a barber, and left them to it. In 15 minutes they were done, did a great cleanup, better than when they arrived, and I paid them. Couldn't be happier about going with them! read more

I had a huge tree fall around 6:30 pm and Luis at Affordable Tree Care was the only one I called which said he could get me people same day. They showed up within an hour with ropes, huge chain saws and chipper machine / truck. The tree had fallen on electrical wires and was barely being held up by a fence and a corner of the roof. It was a true emergency and they came through quickly. The guys which came were quick, friendly (easy communication) and got to work immediately. They also cleaned up! They secured branches with ropes to lower them and had a guy on the roof to catch. Great teamwork. So impressive!! Thank you Luis & family!! read more

They removed a tree for me that had a fungal infection, and I had a lot of issues. Humberto came out and gave the quote, he was a nice guy but seemingly no information was passed along to Edgar & his crew who actually did the removal. They seemed to think it was a different tree until I corrected them, and didn't take any of the safety precautions we discussed (i.e. removing the glass bulbs from our string lights - 5 of which were broken and there was glass all over our yard that I had to clean before our dogs could come outside, and covering our fence which was just refinished - which is now banged up). When I texted the owner, Luis, he didn't seem to care what was discussed and said they'd replace or fix any damage, but once the job was finished they left immediately! When I complained about the broken glass left behind, Lewis asked me not to leave a review. Edgar, who seemed to be the crew chief, was incredibly rude, outright lied to me, and was very confrontational when I pointed out the damage he'd done. I'm not sure why their reviews are so high, I really recommend looking elsewhere. Also, to boot, they assured us that they would be careful with the removal so the fungal infection wouldn't spread to any other another trees...but of course it did! read more

My girlfriend's mom had this huge palm tree that towered over her house and she finally decided to get some estimates. We wound up going with Affordable Tree Care because I could tell from our first contact that they were very friendly and generous. She lives at the top of a steep, kind of narrow driveway & we wanted to let them know that before they gave her an estimate. They offered to drive by and check out the driveway and the tree. They did, and they gave us a very good price and said they could do it the next day. Luis remained in contact with me. His team: Raul, Victor, Juan, and Alan were great from beginning to end. They did a wonderful job. I would heartily recommend these guys 100%. From their friendliness to their skill, the quickness of the project to the price this was a wonderful experience. read more

I highly recommend Luis and his excellent crew at Affordable Tree Care! I reached out on Yelp after a rainstorm caused my large ficus trees to become extremely heavy and bend over into my neighbor's driveway, blocking their car. I was hoping to find someone who could take care of the problem quickly, and Luis responded almost immediately. He happened to be finishing up another job in the neighborhood and offered to come by and take a look. He came out that same day, on Labor Day, which I really appreciated. He was professional, friendly, and straightforward about what needed to be done, and he understood exactly what I was looking for. He was also able to get us scheduled very quickly, which was especially helpful given the situation. From the first phone call to getting the job scheduled, Luis was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. I have a large property with a lot of mature trees, hedges, and landscaping, so I'm very happy to have found someone I can rely on. I'll definitely be calling Luis again for future tree and landscaping projects. Great communication, great service, competitive pricing, and just an all-around great experience. I've used ATC for many years and have found the crews to be reliable, resourceful, and tidy. Aside from the regular topping and hedging of my border Ficus trees, last year, his guys handled a dying Giant Agave with 30 foot stalk. They removal it with speed, and very necessary skill, as the juice is caustic and the thorn tipped leaves are like swords with serrated edges! Bet you've never seen a Giant Agave stalk! Yes, tequila comes from the base of this plant. Working with their boss Luis is also a pleasure and the prices are VERY competitive, so you will have no regrets working with Affordable Tree Care. read more

My neighbors have used them before and recommended them. I had four trees and one tall privacy hedge which all needed to be trimmed. I texted Luis who responded very quickly and we set up an appointment for him to come meet with me so he could take a look and provide me with an accurate estimate. He was prompt and very communicative. His pricing was fair and he let me know his crew's upcoming availability but just so I was aware... he in no way was trying to pressure me to make a decision. I told him I needed to think it over and I got back to him later that evening or the next day. We set something up and his crew was on time, respectful of my property (and that of my neighbors), and did a great job. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them. read more

I requested that my lemon tree be removed through the Thumbtack app, and I contacted Affordable Tree Care, one of the first companies to respond. They offered me a great deal, and I scheduled the removal for the weekend. Lewis, the owner of the company, reassured me that his team would be there on time and do excellent work. Lewis's team arrived around 8 a.m., and they were gone by 8:30. They brought what seemed like a whole battalion of tree equipment because they removed the tree, dug out the roots, and disposed of the tree in their wood chipper. Lewis's team did an amazing job, and I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. Thanks, Lewis. read more
