I had a flyer left behind at my doorstep, took me a few days to decide and give them a call, person answering (David) answers with a hello, didn't introduce himself or his business ‍... i introduce myself and asked him for his name and had to ask if this was tree services? He replied yes, so giving them the benefit of the doubt (because I needed help with this big tree in my back yard) I proceed with setting an appointment for the weekend. Saturday 10am! Saturday 10am comes and no friend text, call to let me know he's running late!! Shows up 15min late... calls and tells me he's arrived. He consulted us several times throughout the process to give options on where and what branches to be trimmed back. He visited twice before coming to help identify a nest (of yellow jackets) and to observe Edison removing branches from nearby power lines. The cleanup was also very good. Having recently moved into our house we had a large number of trees that needed trimming - 7 oaks, 4 pines, 2 eucalyptus, some citrus and other more minor tasks. Out of several companies that came to make bids, David was the only one who took the time to thoroughly explain exactly what would be done, and offered recommendations on how to restore the health of our trees. The estimate was not the cheapest but I felt like we were in good hands with Nature's Tree Service so we contracted them to do the job. David was able to fit us into his schedule very quickly, and was there on site on the day of the work to supervise. A crew of 9 came on the day and were able to complete the whole job by lunchtime. We have a little urban forest in our yard with seven pine trees, theee oak trees, five acacias, one podocarpus, and one Chinese elm. Trees being trees, every few years these beauties need to be trimmed. To accomplish this we have been using the expert care of Nature's Tree Service for over 10 years. A couple of months ago they were here for the fifth time and did a superior job trimming all of the trees and making them look great. David came out first to review the scope of our work and provide an estimate. He is always extremely friendly and unfailingly professional each time he has been here. A few weeks later his crew arrived early in the morning to do the work. Everyone was masked and maintained their distance from us as they worked on our property. We appreciated their good Covid precautions. They took care to guide branches down to the ground when near the house and garage. As they made their way through each tree the cut branches were taken out to their trucks to keep the yard clear. The crew was extremely efficient in their work but took the time to check in to make sure we were happy with the look of the trees as they moved through the work. As usual, everything looked perfect! At the end of the job the crew cleared any branches and leaves from the entire property so that everything was very clean and orderly before they left. Over the years we have been extremely happy with the professional work and friendly service provided by Nature's Tree Service. 8/2/2018 I found David's company online. I called him and told him about my situation. He came by right away and gave me a reasonable quote. David is very up front with me. He told me his team will not be able to haul away the tree until the next day. However, I only need to pay for the job once everything is completed. During the job, they protected my house, my landscaping, and some power/communication wires running adjacent to the tree. Totally agree with other reviews. David is a very unprofessional with his bussiness! He has repeatedly said one thing and doesn't follow through. I too had agreed with David on a date and time for his tree service, even called a few days to confirm with him. I cleared my schedule in advance to make sure I was here to meet him. Well David never showed up!!! He didn't even had the decency to call and cancel on me. How hard is it to make a call or even send a simple text message to inform a client u can't make it to the agreed date! I made many attempts to contact him, left mesages after he would not answer my calls and I did not here from him at all!
