Excellent tree service. Saw them in the Covina Christmas parade and they had great reviews. We had our giant camphor tree and sweet gum tree trimmed and had 8+ stumps removed in 2024. Also learned what type of orange tree we have! The crew was on time, friendly, and clean. Love that they are local. Most definitely will use them again. Highly recommend. read more

I received a written quote from Acosta stating they would rig the trees to eliminate damage and that all cuttings would be removed. I called Ruben on two separate occasions to have branches removed that were hanging into the neighbor's yard. No one showed up so I cleaned up the yard myself. Pruning of the trees was good but follow-up was bad. read more

I had them come out a second time after their excellent care of a 40'+ pine tree, to trim a large, old avocado tree. They took great care in trimming the tree without harming it. The also did an excellent job on an overgrown palm tree. The crew was pleasant and courteous. After they left, you could not tell they were there except for the well trimmed trees. read more

I needed my tree trimmed and got in touch with Acosta Tree Services. Ruben came out quickly and really knew his stuff about trees. He gave me some solid advice right off the bat without trying to make a quick buck. He was honest, really friendly, and seemed to care more about doing what was right for me than just making a sale. He gave me a quote that was better than others I'd gotten, and when his crew showed up, they were on time and did a fantastic job on my trees. They cleaned up after themselves really well, too. Acosta Tree service came to our home in Victoria Woods, Riverside near Poly High School. Ruben and his team did a phenomenal job. They arrived on time and ready to work. His knowledge of trees and tree growth amazed us. His team worked extremely hard all day. They removed an enormous tree (about 100 feet tall)and trimmed another massive tree (as clean as a barbershop haircut). Amazingly, they left the yard clean and clear of debris, cleaner than it was before they started. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and how respectful they were of our property. Thank you Ruben and team. We will definitely be calling you again. Side note: This is a "before" picture when they first started removing the tree. read more

We're very pleased and happy that we decided to go with Acosta Tree Service. After meeting with Ruben he was very knowledgeable about his trees and the best way to remove the tree with the least amount of damage to our grass and surrounding area. Acosta Tree Services did have the best estimate out of the 2 other bids we got. Ruben worked with us on the cost and took into consideration our budget for the project. Ruben was very friendly and professional. Our job was a big job, no small trees here. The quote included the following: 1 California Sycamore Tree; Removed, stump grinding and disposal. 2 Liquid Amber Trees balanced, shaped and thinned. (The trees look beautiful now!) Again I want to say how pleased we are with the work they did, those guy's hustled all day! The crew was professional plus super friendly even when my kids went out to sit with them on their lunch break. They did an awesome job cleaning up once the tree was cut down. They also stacked wood for us for firewood (be prepared if you are going to keep some wood. Clean a space ahead of time and they will stack it for you). They did have to make a second trip to grind the stump and boy was that a fun experience...wood chips for day's! They asked use if we were keeping the wood chips and I said yes. We used the chips to fill the planters around the house, look's amazing now. (If you plan on keeping the wood chips be prepared to make the room for them!) I will be calling them back in the future because I have 5 citrus trees in my backyard that I need to have maintenance on a regular basis. I would completely recommend this company to all my friends and family that are in need of tree service! read more

We just got 4 trees and a large hedge trimmed by Acosta's crew and we couldn't be happier!!! I was impressed with Ruben right away, he contaced me when he said he would, (that's rare) and he is very professional and clear about what he intends to do. The crew did an OUTSTANDING job. They were very quick and the trees have NEVER looked better!! I have been avoiding the back yard because the trees were all so overgrown and unsightly but now I just want to sit outside and look at them. They are like works of art - from huge 'bush like' trees to ones that are thinned and trimmed to perfection. We have had these trees trimmed so many times over the years and they have NEVER looked this great. They also look super healthy!! This team knows what they are doing!! Thanks to Ruben and the Acosta crew! read more

I hired Acosta Tree Service to trim my 3 large, mature trees. I must say that Acosta took very good care of my trees & made the whole experience a memorable one. Organized the work through yelp quote, Ruben was responsive and very easy to work with. He kept me updated during the course of the day as to their expected arrival which wasappreciated. The crew did a fantastic job on our palm trees, cleaned and hauled away the trash. I would recommend Acosta for anyone looking for tree service. Update 5/16: I used Ruben and his excellent team again to trim a Chinese Elm in my backyard and another tree in my front yard. Could not be happy with the service his team provided and the price that I was charged. In addition they also trimmed my neighbors 5 palm trees as well. I had my tree trimmed by Acosta last October and I called to ask if they would donate some mulch to a school garden project. Two days later we got a beautiful smelling (smelled like Christmas for days!) truckload of mulch delivered to the school. It was delivered for free! After getting several quotes for almost 2 years we used these guys for tree removal of a large pine in our front yard. We were worried about using just anybody to fell the tree due to the close proximity of my house and also some utility lines and also neighboring plants and sprinklers. These guys absolutely killed it! I was very impressed as were my neighbors. They made short work of the tree in half the time I'd thought it would take. These guys were very precise with every piece and used some well thought out rigging to slowly lower the heavy chunks of tree. These guys were nothing but friendly and professional from start to finish. I will definitely use these guys and already recommended them to my family and friends. read more

I used Acosta tree services. Had two trees trimed and two palm trees removed. My telephone wire was cut without telling me. After I said something I was told I would be getting a discount. I've been working with Ruben for about 5 years now. He's honest, trust worthy, knowledgeable, professional, and very fair on his pricing. Ruben and his crew removed our palm tree, dying olive tree, and some other huge brittle tree we had that kept dropping large branches on our neighbor's roof. He's done an amazing job maintaining our avocado tree, huge pine tree, jacarandas, and a few others. Don't settle for less. I live in the North part of Azusa where it was formally an avocado grove. This mean my trees are about 100 years old. My 5 trees were in a state of emergency in 2018 because of the high summer temperatures and drought that has plague the area for the past 8 years. I didn't think anything could save my trees after seeing about 6 of my neighbors cut down their trees. But after a quick call to Acosta Trees. The next day my trees where saved!!! 2 seasons later not only have large crop but massive avacados. Thank you Acosta Trees (doctors) for saving my 100 year old avacado trees. read more
