Inari Combo. (Tsunami Plate Menu #4) SO GOOD! ( ^_^)b
    Kevin M.

I had great 1st experience at Johnny Sushi. They are located inside the Glendora Public Market. The booth has countertop seating and a long high table for seating right next to the business. I came by shortly after it opened for my lunch break. I was the 2nd customer of the day. The staff working was Johnny himself. He was welcoming and patience with all the questions I had about the menu options. The menu is quite extensive so definite take your time to choose what you might be craving. The menu offers Special Rolls, Regular Rolls and Appetizers. Then there is the TSUNAMI PLATE menu. They have many different combinations from this menu and it's all listed at $16.99 with options to my have it spicy or non spicy. These combos including different variations of rolls and/or nigiri and an Inari option. The Inari option caught my eye and I decided to try it because chef Johnny said it has 8pcs. I opted for the spicy option. I sat at the counter top where you can see Chef Johnny making the orders behind the glass. The order was done in 5-10 minutes. The presentation was crazy. All the Inari was lined up, sauced up and topped with crispy garlic and scallions. I knew I made the right choice. The inari included salmon, tuna and crab. I enjoyed each and every one of them. The textures and the flavors were delicious. That Inari plate was top-tier! Worth every penny. I mentioned to Chef Johnny I would come back and bring my wife because I know she'd enjoy it. I would like to try the rolls next time. Johnny Sushi is a solid addition to the Glendora Pubic Market. Thanks, Johnny Sushi! ( ^_^)b Be back soon.

A new spot in Glendora Public Market that took over the previous bagel shop. The staff was incredibly friendly and there's a large menu with various combos as well. We got one salmon combo to share and the fish tasted good. The rice had a nice vinegar taste too. For the nilgiri, the rice to fish ratio was a little off with a lot of rice, but the other sushi pieces were proportionate. The combo has a good amount and allows you to try different rolls which makes it easily shareable. Overall, a solit sushi spot and nice addition to the food hall!

Great having a sushi spot close by for a quick bite. They have a plate menu for $16.99 and I was able to mix salmon tuna nigiri and unagi to create a plate. The fish was fresh- delicious. And Johnny himself is super nice! They have a small sushi bar and lots of seating within the food hall. Going to stop often to help support our local business :)

Ordered the #19 rainbow roll + salmon and they even added sweet sauce + the crunchies on top! It was super bomb and definitely found another go-to spot at Glendora market place!

This wasabi brought me to tears, literally. It's very strong so use sparingly.

We decided to stop in and noticed a new sushi spot. The previous one is long gone and I was hoping another sushi spot would come along. This one is located where the bagel shop used to be. I noticed another customer eating a couple of plates and asked how it was and they recommended trying it. We ordered a few plates and everything we ordered was delicious. The fish was very fresh and made when we ordered. I didn't get a picture of the poke bowl but that is something I want to go back to try. I thought the fruit in the cups were fruit salads but it's actually to make smoothies. It's definitely a nice addition if you're looking for something on the healthy side. The service was friendly and they were happy to answer our questions. The menu has pictures so it comes in handy when placing your order. The prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh and filling. A quick note about the wasabi. It's different than what is commonly served, it's very strong. A little bit goes a long way. There's a counter where you can sit and watch as they prepare your meal or you can sit at one of the many nearby tables. I almost forgot to mention how nice it is to eat off plates and not carry out containers.

It's a really excellent fish served quickly and at a reasonable price. This is about to become one of the best spots in the Glendora Public Market. I'll be back here again soon.

They replaced where the bagel shop was

Wow, I just went there for lunch today ( take out) I got their Poke bowl. Everything tastes so fresh. Their ginger taste so good no chemicals after taste from some cheap stuff. It doesn't come with rice but it's bed of mixed green with generous amounts of typical poke bowls items. I don't have to individually ask but all in so I'm sold! I think the price is so reasonable, Poke bowl was $15.99 and my son got Salmon and Tuba $16.99 Everybody should try Johnny Sushi

Great buffet for price . Service was pretty good. Staff is friendly and attentive…read more And ambiance was pretty nice inside . I would definitely one back again!

I came here with my brother planning to do the all-you-can-eat option. I let the staff know upfront…read morethat I have celiac disease and asked if they could remove ingredients like imitation crab, eel sauce, tempura, and soy sauce from the rolls since all of those contain gluten. I even clarified that I didn't want any substitutions--I just wanted those items removed. However, they told me they couldn't do that under the all-you-can-eat menu and insisted that any change counted as a substitution, which would mean an extra charge per roll just to remove the imitation crab. That didn't make much sense to me considering it's supposed to be all-you-can-eat--I wasn't asking for anything extra, just to remove ingredients I can't eat. They suggested I order carpaccio or sashimi instead, but those options were more expensive and also restricted (for example, carpaccio was limited to one order per person). That didn't feel like a good value, especially since those were basically the only safe options available to me. I've been to other all-you-can-eat sushi places where they were happy to remove things like imitation crab, tempura flakes, and sauces to accommodate gluten allergies, so this was the first time I've run into this issue. Don't get me wrong--if I didn't have celiac disease, this place might actually be a go-to. The all-you-can-eat price is pretty reasonable, and the convenience of ordering through a QR code at your own pace is a big plus. However, if you have celiac disease or any dietary restrictions, it's a completely different experience. While there are a couple of alternatives like sashimi or carpaccio, the added cost and restrictions really take away from the value. Overall, it's a convenient and affordable spot for most people, but for those with dietary restrictions, it's probably not worth it.
