Shrimp Lover lunch special (includes miso soup) priced at $9.95.

I haven't eaten here in forever! Would for sure be back for dine-in or takeout. Attentive, nice customer service. Food delivered fresh, hot, and speedy. Their Lunch #2 combo was YUMMY. The chicken teriyaki was a generous portion for lunchtime. Tended, juicy, and ideally cooked with the right amount of teriyaki sauce. Minus 1 star because the shrimp tempura included in the combo was too heavily battered for my taste but still tasted fine. I had leftovers of the chicken and it tasted just as terrific reheated later for dinner. Miso Soup and Rainbow Roll were both equally delish. Recommended Japanese spot if you're never been!

Oh good lawd this was good! The Happy Hour is the way to go! We ate like kings and all the food was so fresh. The restaurant doesn't have a fishy smell so that's a good sign to tell you how fresh the fish is. Staff are very quick and helpful. The restaurant itself might hold about 40 people so expect a little wait if coming for HH.

Staff was kind, there was no wait time to be seated. Sushi rolls were flavorful and the ramen was also delicious

Good quality fish and a very reasonable price. The service here is outstanding with very attentive staff. Our food was served promptly. The sashimi plate was good for the price.

I found Miyako Sushi Glendora on Yelp awhile back. I've been wanting to try them out. I recently got a chance to do so and I was so excited about it. It is located in the Lone Hill Shopping Center aka Route 66 Promenade on Foothill Blvd and Lone Hill Ave. Free parking is ample. Upon entry, I was seated right away. They weren't too busy yet, but by the time I left, it was a full house. Do come early for dinner if you want to beat the crowd. They have the bar and good dining space. The overall staff was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was nice and comfortable. I was lucky to have come here when they had their Happy Hour (HH) which was perfect. HH prices were very reasonable. I ordered quite a bit of foods that evening. Happy Hour Items: 1. Garlic edamame - A good plate worth of edamame with great garlic flavor. It comes with a bowl for you to place the shells in... nice add! 2. Baked mussels - This comes with 4 mussels. The spicy mayonnaise-based sauce was very tasty. I would get this again. 3. Salmon collar - Decent size, but the salmon was slightly over done... wished it was more tender. 4. 2 rolls for $19.95 - Golden Tiger and Alaskan - I didn't care too much for the Golden Tiger because it was fried on the outside. I did, however, enjoyed the Alaskan... salmon was fresh! Btw, their sushi ginger was very good... I ordered some extra ginger to-go. 5. 2 rolls for $19.95 - Cucumber Special and Kens Special (soy) - I ordered this right before their HH ended. The quality of these two rolls were not as good as the first two rolls. I felt the fishes were not the freshest and best quality especially the salmon that was in the Kens Special. As for the Cucumber Special, there was more crab filling than the fishes. I was very disappointed on these last two rolls. Not sure if it was because I was ordering too much at HH prices, hence, the not so great quality. Only they know. Non-Happy Hour Item: 1. Dinner #3 with salmon - Yes, I went overboard by also ordering this dinner plate for a solo diner. I had the intention to take this to-go for my daughters. It came with a few strips of salmon which was slightly overdone... again, wished the salmon was more tender. Good portions of vegetable tempura, salad was fresh and tasty, California rolls was okay, and rice was good. As for me returning here for future dining, I'm not quite sure that I will. I am glad I tried them though. Thank you Miyako Sushi! If you're in the Glendora area, give them a try. You may have a better food experience. Enjoy!

Salmon lover from the lunch special was $14.95, very very great deal for 1 roll and 5 pieces of nigiri and miso soup! Very fresh as well. Would recommend to anyone! The employees were so nice and it was made quickly.

I am not familiar with restaurants in Glendora area, but I chose Miyako to meet up with a friend due to the high Yelp reviews. I am confused Yelpers, the food here is pretty mid. I don't know if it's because we ordered from the Happy Hour menu. We got 2 rolls for $19.99 plus 2 appetizers, the ebi shu-mai and the stuffed mushroom with spicy tuna. You can tell the ebi shu-mai has been sitting in the freezer too long. It was mooshy and sad. The stuff mushroom was batter fried with spicy tuna. I got the Ken's special because I love salmon sushi, but it didn't taste fresh to me at all. The spicy tuna in the volcano roll was less spicy than the stuffed mushroom's spicy tuna, hence made the roll very bland.

Popped in again second time in a week. The lunch specials are INCREDIBLE! Today I ordered a salmon bowl and a California Roll. Not only was it plenty, it was delicious! The service is great and the place is ALWAYS CLEAN. Looking forward to our next visit.

Cozy and quiet sushi spot with a good dinner bento box. Was seated immediently and served promptly. I ordered the bento with beef, fried vegetable tempura, and four piece California roll. Price was about $12.50 which is a great deal considering the amount of food. Also came with rice, salad, and miso soup. Miso soup was delicious! Ordered dinner with a soda, total price came out to under $20 for dinner. Would definitely come back for a quick sushi fix.

Its broth is rich, creamy, and savory. Every bite felt like heaven. (Important Note: Currently, there's a Yelp Check-In Promotion! Free Ice Cream, Soda, or Hot Tea for one in-person Check-In.) I arrived at Kaiba (La Verne) on Saturday (around 1:45PM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious & big. Service felt professional, accommodating, and welcoming. My server (Jayden) worked hard. Jayden maintained a bright cheery demeanor; Jayden was very attentive & quickly assisted me; and Jayden always worked non-stop in the background. My food arrived around 6 minutes and 15 seconds. Very fast!! As mentioned, I found happiness in my meal. This Tonkotsu Ramen felt memorable and special. Its egg is silky, falling apart effortlessly as it hits the tongue. Its chasu is charred, tender, and thick. The broth is creamy and rich. And most importantly, the noodles are bountiful and springy. I felt all my stress seep away with each euphoric bite. In addition, the Gyoza tasted fresh and crisp. Its filling came juicy, and I reveled how each bite left a light crunch. And the Green Tea Ice Cream (Complimentary with Yelp Check-In Promotion) tasted chill, smooth, and refreshing. All in all, the value and quality of this meal felt unmatched. Concerning ambiance, Kaiba (La Verne) felt a little sporadic. It's clean, spacious, and well-ventilated. However, its appearance is a little ugly since folded plastic bags and boxes are sprawled outside in plain view. Still, I appreciated the food photos on the wall. Kaiba (La Verne) also has utility. I appreciated the flat screen TV; it plays the football game. Also, I observed a high-chair for kids, so this location is family friendly. The location also felt spacious with its high ceiling. Overall, I had a lovely, magical experience at Kaiba (La Verne). I am very excited that the hype is genuine. I left full and happy. If you love ramen, this is an easy recommendation. 5 out of 5.
