I've used Johnny Cab for over a decade and their prompt service to the airport was excellent every single time. I became spoiled that I was the only customer. Highly recommended. read more

We used Johnny Cab due to all the great Yelp reviews, but this review is really closer to 3.5 stars. Nonetheless, his service was fine, but there is definitely room for improvement and we used another taxi service for our last ride which was a much better experience. We prearranged for Johnny Cab to pick us up at the airport after our flight from OGG to HNL. Unfortunately, our short flight was almost an hour late, and his colleague, Wasa, waited patiently for us until we retrieved all our luggage. His car was on the older side, but Wasa was very patient and an excellent and safe driver. Since our flight arrived so late, it took us around an hour to get to our hotel in Waikiki since we had hit rush hour. Because of this, we of course gave Wasa a very decent tip, but he deserved it due to all the inconveniences our delayed flight created and his professionalism when driving. Because of this, we decided to use Johnny Cab again the next day when we needed a ride from our hotel in Waikiki to our new hotel in Ko Olina. This time we were picked up by Johnny, who graciously came 30 minutes earlier than our scheduled pick-up time at 1:15pm, per our request. Unfortunately, the things I didn't like so much about Johnny was that he drove a little aggressively, almost tailgating another driver. Albeit this driver was in the fast lane, it wasn't something I expected from someone who drives for a living, and we never said we were in any rush to get to our destination. He also got visibly angry at some jaywalkers. I get it, when I drive and people jaywalk and block my car, I get mad too, but I also don't drive patrons for a living. Finally, we tried to make conversation with him, but the vibe overall was really off. It's hard to explain and maybe our personalities didn't mesh, but it was reason enough where we decided not to use his services again for our final ride. The other tax company we used to take us on our final day from Ko Olina to HNL was much more professional. You can see my review of them as well. When booking with this new taxi company, we received an email and text confirmation right after we booked our appointment. We didn't get any type of confirmation from Johnny Cab. Also, with the other taxi company, we also received a link by text so we can track our driver when he was on our way to us. Finally, the morning we were about to leave (at around 5am - our pick-up time was at 6am), we received a final text confirmation that our driver was coming. He even came 30 minutes early. After using the other taxi service, who charged the exact same price as Johnny Cab, I definitely won't be using Johnny Cab again and would rather use a more established and reputable taxi company. I think Johnny Cab is just a 1 or 2 man show, while the other taxi company has a fleet of over 100 taxis. Maybe we just got a good driver for our other taxi company, but they just seemed more professional overall. read more

Outstanding service for an airport run from Johnny. It's impossible to get an Uber or Lyft from Hawaii Kai. I booked Johnny afternoon for same evening ride and he showed up on time, huge very clean car, super nice guy, excellent service. We will be using his services again! read more

We hired Johnny Cab for airport pickup and delivery while on vacation in Oahu, June 2021. We really appreciated John's prompt replies, timeliness and overall friendliness. John's website is in development, so text him directly to make appointments for airport pickups and island tours (808) 722-4610. John is a local entrepreneur and we really enjoyed riding with him. We will definitely use his services again. read more

Highest recommendations to Johnny Cab. Reliable, Professional and the prices are the best. I have used for years a Korean Taxi company and they just got worse and worse to the point of actually slowing down to almost a complete stop just to catch every red light and run the clock. I'll stick to Johnny Cab from now on and save TONS while having THE BEST SERVICE!!!! read more

I went with Johnny Cab last minute due to Go808 being out of available times. From the moment I picked them to me getting dropped off, everything went smoothly and as planned. I called 24 hours before my flight was to land and set up a pick up time. Johnny was clear and courteous with instructions on where we should meet him. Our communication consisted of just texting and he was very good at responding in a timely manner. He checked our flight time and was there when we landed. He was easy to spot and we were dropped off at our Airbnb in no time. Setting up the drop off back to airport was also smooth sailing. About two hours before, I had asked to switch the pick up location to a block away and Johnny was able to make it work. This time we had another driver who worked with him, Kenji. He was absolutely delightful. A fun person to chat with during our ride and we learned quite a bit from him about Hawaii and Oahu during. We got to our airport perfectly on time with no hiccups. Overall, my boyfriend and I had experienced great service and will definitely be using their services next time we come back. Flat rate $25 each way for both of us. read more

The first taxi company we booked to drive us to the airport never showed up and wouldn't respond to calls. We were getting frantic about missing our flight. We called Johnnycab and asked if he could take 3 of us plus luggage and how soon he could pick us up, and he was at our doorstep in under 5 minutes! His car was large and very comfortable. He's super friendly and got us to the airport in great time. And he was cheaper than the first place we called! We felt a large tip was well deserved!! Would absolutely recommend him! read more

AIRPORT ARRIVAL: we planned on taking Uber and when we got here it was SURGING ! The price more than doubled for a 8 mile trip to Waikiki. Soooo I go to yelp and immediately find Johnnycab! I called them and immediately they start texting and just like that we got a ride with Wayne in a black Luxury XL SUV all the way to our place. He was witty, so funny, so knowledgeable with excellent customer service! We will be using their service again! I highly recommend Johnnys CAB for your transportation needs in Honolulu! read more

The 1st time we used JohnnyCAB it went great with the owner himself picking up hubs to deliver him to airport for work trip. Second time I booked it differently on their website and another company showed up NOT JohnnyCAB because apparently he had "sold" the ride. While everything went fine, driver was on time, price was the same, etc., we didn't feel 100% comfortable that we booked with one company and someone else showed up. I guess next time I will book via FB and chat with the owner himself which is how I booked the first ride from Ewa Beach to HNL. Would still recommend based on fair pricing and on time service. read more

Made a booking with Johnny for a ride from the airport to hotel. At the pick-up time somebody shows up in an OLD and WRECKED van filled with other tourists. This person calls me by my name and informs me that Johnny gave our booking to him because he couldn't make it himself. He charged us $5 EXTRA for a SHARED SHUTTLE. ($30 total for 2 persons). When I confronted Johnny afterwards he said that his rides are NOT GUARANTEED PRIVATE shuttles. He told me to look at his website, there is no mention of a PRIVATE RIDE. (he is right, LOOK AT HIS WEBSITE - Nowhere is there mention of a PRIVATE RIDE) Johnny Cab sold his clients to another SHARED VAN DRIVER. And then he laughed at us because we were complaining about 25$ (LOOK AT THE PICTURE) Went with Go808 transport company on return, everything went normal. (private ride as expected, on time and clean.) read more

Johnny cab was great! We used his service for an airport ride to Waikiki. I really appreciated that he already had a carseat installed for my toddler. His van can seat -- maybe 13? It has a lot of seats, but we only used four. He was there waiting at the airport when we arrived, and he was prompt at our hotel to pick us up. Highly recommend! read more

Other plans for transfer fell through. They were able to provide a car with kids car seats with 4 hours notice, for a flight arriving at midnight. Really helped us out of a jam! Would 100% use them again. Thank you. read more

Have used Johnny Cab many times as a couple as a family as a family with children and EVERY time a seamless ride John and his team have GREAT communication from start to finish either by web email or cell He provides a great youtube video on his FB page to make sure everyone understands where to find him Please note not always his red vans - sometimes white - but even if confused any of the other shuttle drivers know him and can point you in the right direction For your comfort a little step is provided to get in and out of the van Plenty of room for cases Always a pleasure to see his smiling face after getting off the long haul and the leis he provides smell scrumptious ! Pricing is awesome @$25USD for two plus tip John is relaxed and happy and nothing too much trouble as are his other drivers ( leaving we had Kenji ) He is very knowledgeable about all things Hawaii and also does tours. HIGHLY recommend and will continue to use :) Mahalo read more

Johnny Cab - Johnny Cab Airport Transfer - Airport Shuttles Near Me

I have used Johnny Cab for 5 years for work and personal travel. Wouldn't go with anyone else. John is reliable, always on-time or early, and there waiting for me in my driveway or when I land. I love never having to build in any extra time for Johnny Cab. Communicating with him by text is easy and he responds to requests clearly and very promptly. His rates are good and his service and professionalism are excellent. Johnny has large vans and can accommodate my large family with kids and car seats and handicap scooter AND all our luggage all in one go. If John is not available himself, he seamlessly arranges for one of his partners to pick you up. A couple texts and I'm set. read more

Johnny Cab - John with his beautiful new 14-passenger van! - Airport Shuttles Near Me

I have used Johnny Cab since 2016 while visiting Hawaii. Johnny is very responsive and the prices are very fair. We just returned from vacation and we used them 3 times and as it turns out our driver Kenji was the same driver we had years ago. He was waiting for us at each location, his vehicles are very clean and he provided us with some great advice for places to go while visiting. I would highly recommend Johnny Cab for your transportation needs and I would also request Kenji. One less thing to be concerned with while traveling, knowing they would be there as promised. read more

If I go to Oahu again, I will use Johnny Cab. The drivers were polite and most important on time. The price was great!

JOHNNY ON THE SPOT I really want to thank Johnny for providing exceptional service. I also love his never say no attitude. I called a larger car service company to book my transfers and they told me they couldn't do it. They were nice enough to give me Johnny's number. I called Johnny and gave him my flight times. Johnny said he was very busy but he would make it work. I loved that he didn't say No and leave me hanging at the airport. I asked if he only had one van and he said yes but he had other drivers that could help him, if he needed it. Johnny is the man! Everything happens for a reason. I love that the larger company told me no because I was able to give my money to the underdog. I know Johnny's business will grow and he will eventually be one of the big guys around town. After speaking with Johnny on the phone he asked me to text him my flight info. He texted me back and also told me the fastest way to exit the terminal because he knew we would only have carry on bags. In fact, when I landed in Honolulu Johnny texted me while I was sitting on the plane to ask if I had arrived. I loved the communication and it eased my stress level knowing Johnny was waiting outside for us on the curb. Johnny picked us up in the exact spot where he told me he would be waiting. Johnny also asked me if it was okay if we picked up another passenger even though it was suppose to be a private ride. Johnny also gave us a discount. I said no problem because I loved the fact he didn't say no to me the night before, when I needed a ride. He's a good guy and I couldn't tell him no nor did I even think about it. My wife nicknamed him Johnny Cash which I thought was cute. When I had booked Johnny on the phone, I asked if I could pay and secure our reservation with a credit card. He told me not to worry and that cash would be okay. Hence my wife coming up with Johnny Cash. I wanted to take it to the next level and call him Johnny Cash Cab. Maybe we could get HBO to make it into a TV show. Oh wait I think that has been done already. Johnny provided a great ride with fun conversations. We also talked football. I was really surprised we were total football rivals with him being a Detroit Lions fan and me being a Chicago Bears fan but we didn't throw down in the van. His little girl is really cute too. Check out her photos on the page. I am sure that she will be driving for her Dad one day. I also booked Johnny for a return trip to the airport. He told me that it was going to be tight with the Hawaii Football game going on but we would figure it out on the day. I love his never say no approach. On the day of our return to the airport Johnny was tied up at the football game and he informed me that he was sending another guy to pick us up. He texted the guys name, vehicle description and phone number. In fact, he arrived at the hotel 2 minutes before our scheduled pick up time. Again more great customer service and I love that. Johnny Cash Cab is the way to go. He keeps in total contact via text and is there when he says he is going to be there. I would use him again in a heartbeat on my next trip to Honolulu. Now I just need to get back to paradise. Thanks Johnny for making our trip even nicer. read more

I highly recommend Johnny Cab! Great flat rate, arrived no less than 15 min before the designated pickup time at the airport and our hotel. Couldn't ask for a better driver Super easy to confirm via text. read more

This is what I know about Johnny: He responds quickly, even when I texted him the night before my flight to ask for a ride (be more considerate than me and give him more advance notice) He's on time, even early. My flight landed 20min early, and I would've been ok with waiting for our arranged pick up time. I texted him to let him know that, but he was already waiting at the curb! I think Johnny has military training background and therefore understands the importance of being on time. He's a cool guy, easy to have conversations with. Sweet that he has pics of his wife and daughter on this Yelp page. Keep in mind they prefer cash read more

We wanted to travel light so we skipped bringing a car seat for our 9 month old on our vacation. Johnny cab was a life saver. Communication was excellent. I was able to ask a million questions and set everything up via text. He took the time to respond to my questions promptly, efficiently and completely. And oh so patiently ;) The ride to the airport was in a comfortable and in an airconditioned van. Baby fell asleep right away :) Tyson was awesome and helped us with our bags. He had the car seat ready and offered a different size if we wanted. The ride was private and the price was reasonable. Thank you so much for offering this service and for doing such an excellent job. Mahalo :) read more

Best deal round trip Honolulu Airport to Aulani $110 cash. The Driver's were right on time for pick up on both ends in nice 9 passenger vans. Johnny was prompt in answering my emails and making sure they kept track of my flight I would give them 5* except on our return we had 2 families each in 2 vans. They dropped first family at the car rental agency but second families were dropped off at the airport rather than the car rental agency we wanted to go to. Not sure why. Otherwise really enjoyed Johnny Cab read more

Very communicative, on time, and great customer service! We will be using Johnny Cab any time we're in Oahu!

Johnny was the only company that had a carseat for my grandson. His driver really cared about my needs, They went beyond just being a service. If it wasn't for him, I would have had to transfer on two buses, or walk with two children 2 miles. Johnny and his driver, saved the day! I am forever greatful and thankful. read more

If you haven't been warned already, Honolulu is SUPER crowded, especially around the Holidays. Which means lines are long everywhere you go, and traffic is thick. One way to minimize this is to set up a ride to and from the airport ahead of time with Johnny and crew. They are prompt, friendly and very reasonably priced. A very reliable transportation option amid the hustle and bustle. read more

Great customer service, excellent driver, and very affordable. It only cost $40 for 5 of us to get to the airport. Highly recommended.

This was the first time we used them and will continue to use them in the future! Went off reviews from yelp and tripadvisor. Most of the negative reviews were locals that were cut off by drivers lol! Our experience was excellent through all phases. Reasonable prices I felt. Used them for transportation to and from the airport. They did not disappoint. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not use this company. Their driver did not have his drivers license so he couldn't get on base to pick us up even though I told them ahead of time that we are on base. The driver doesn't call and tell us that he just plain left because he didn't have a license. 20 minutes later Johnny calls and says he'd have another driver come who was 8 minutes away. By that time, it was too late to go with someone else. It wasn't his driver, he just called another company to come clean up his mess!! Not only was his driver driving without a license which is illegal, he didn't fix the problem or offer to compensate us for a very stressful trip that should have been easy. Now we stand to miss our flight. If we do miss the flight, I Will most certainly be seeking compensation. read more

We used Johnny Cab for our airport transportation and for a trip to the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. Let me say this, you'll not find a more prompt, reliable, and reasonable transport in Hawaii. He was there to pick us up right on time every time. He knows the area and takes the best routes. The best part for me is that I could communicate with him via text. No hassle with phone calls while at a noisy restaurant. He promptly responds. This is the very best you can get. The big red van is easy to spot too. We had a change in baggage areas and he even knew that before we did. read more

We booked Johnny cab for a transfer from Honolulu airport to our Waikiki hotel because we were travelling with our baby and wanted a guaranteed car seat for her. Booking online was very easy. There was a $5 charge for the infant car seat. We also requested a lei greeting and this was provided for @ $9 per Lei and the fresh flower leis we received were pretty. We were advised to text or call as soon as we landed, however there were signs everywhere in the airport saying 'NO CELL PHONE' so weren't able to call until we were virtually at the exit, after customs. Our driver was Brent but we did meet Johnny briefly too. Both were friendly and courteous. The van was clean, and arrived shortly after we phoned (driver was picking up some leis for us). Brent answered all our questions and was very helpful when we asked for some local info. I wanted to shop for a stroller and he offered to drive me downtown in his lunch break for a very reasonable price which was very kind, although I ended up taking a bus in the end. I would definitely book this company again, especially when travelling with a baby. I only gave 4 stars because we did have a short wait for our driver, but everything else was perfect. read more
