It was something about the way he said it and right away I felt like i could breath. A few days later I got a call from Tanner. He was very warm and sweet. Ni matter what questions I had he answered them with grace. I tried to stress how I wanted this and that and he didn't even flinch per se. I can legit tell he was noting down all my needs and wanted to make sure I was okay and felt comfortable. Moving day I can literally see the truck at the light at the time they said they would arrive. I have never seen a group of men hop out a truck with a smile and such grace. Mind you it is humid over 100degrees. It was ugly outside. Not one of them had a face of disappointment. Cory, Skylar, and Corbin were amazing. I had sooo many questions and they answered all with no problem. Not once did they look annoyed. I loved how they had a system. All three came up to check out everything. Literally turned around and said okay guys we got this. And in sooo many words without saying it They FOR SURE SAID MAAM PLSSS MOVE OUT THE WAY WE GOT THIS . Everytime I forgot to mention something or I needed help taking this apart they did not skip a beat or hesitate to help. The communication was amazing. They stayed professional the whole entire time. Anything I looked stressed about they made sure to say hey we got this pls relax lol. I mentioned they could just take the big stuff and they looked at me and said maam WE Can put this in the truck we got this. There is plenty of room. What an amazing experience! My Wife and I have had many movers throughout the years, these guys are the best and exceeded our expectations! We moved from one storage unit 10x30 to another 10x30. We started off with Devin who was excellent overseeing the crew along with Andy and Ryder. These guys were top notch! As they started working to move from our first storage unit to the next one of the guys recommended adding three more guys to finish at the second storage in a quicker timeframe. It was well worth it! The initial crew took about 3 1/2 hours then the added crew of three took a little less than an hour and a half at the second location where we were moving storage units too! If you have a big move, I would highly recommend getting 5 to 6 guys to move you! We had 6 movers, and they worked very quickly together! I had a move today and it was a breeze. I was moving from one end of my apartment to the other end. I already had everything packed up and ready to go. The movers arrived on time (even though my unit is tucked away and hard to find) and came in to look what items needed to be moved. They made a plan on the best way to do it and got it done so fast. They moved me from a first floor unit to a second floor unit and I had a couple heavy items. They did drop one of the heavy items and was honest about it. They helped me open the item to see if there was any damage. The item was fine but they apologized many times for it. My main concern was my tv but they wrapped it up and was very careful with it. When it arrived to my new unit they unwrapped it for me. It took a total of 2 hours for the movers to pack my items in the truck and unpack my items in my new unit. I feel the price for this move was very fair and they deserved the tip. I will be calling them for any moves I have in the future as all 3 of the movers were kind and efficient. read more

Shane, Arman and Corbin saved us! It was 116 degrees outside and we left all the hard, awkward, heavy lifting for Academy movers. Our gratitude isnt just for the speed and capability of these young men, though. In addition to being highly coordinated, they were genuinely patient with us as they worked together seemlessly while i was trying to figure out furniture placement. Each of them would hold the furniture while I unsticked the glides and then moved it for me after--then switched the placement for me over and over again till I figured the rooms out. Then I would forget the glides and Corwin would had to keep reminding me to prepare and unstick the glides...so kind Every hold up was me because they were swift and every piece of furniture was perfectly handled. Total pros. Easily would have paid them double for that nasty work; the price was unbelievable. I decided to use JV Academy Movers to move from my Apartment to a house in Phoenix AZ. The reservation was made a month earlier and Carter (the manager) was prompt in responding to my emails and questions. Two days before the scheduled move, Carter emailed a confirmation/reminder. On moving day, I received a call from the moving supervisor, Matt who asked if I was ready for them to come earlier. They came an hour early because I was ready. I am thoroughly impressed by their organization and efficiency. One mover disassembled the beds and other things while the other two moved the items. The move out was excellent and quick. They were efficient and took care of my items. The move in was equally efficient. The movers placed the items and furniture where I needed it and assembled the beds. Overall the move was efficient and excellent! The movers were polite, enthusiastic, and energetic! I highly recommend JV Academy Movers. There were two more follow-up calls that gave me confidence they would be ready for us. In May we had Beau, Thomas and Thomas move us in Apache Junction, AZ. The young men were extremely polite, professional, conscientious, careful, helpful and industrious. They even moved my upright piano with no problem. They made our moving experience as seamless as possible. I wanted to hire all 3 of them to help us unpack boxes . We were not totally familiar with the academy and the services it provides to members of the community until Beau explained it all at the end of our move. As a retired mental health/chemical dependency counselor, I am extremely impressed with the Academy and how it helps individuals in need. I highly recommend these movers for any size moving project. Highly Recommended! I found this company on a google search in my area and found them to be budget friendly with great reviews and ratings. The Team, ALex, Julian and Dustin showed up on time with a brand new well equipped truck with a lift gate and they got to work right away - a well oiled machine. They were very careful, polite, professional and fast. They were all capable of moving heavy furniture, also if you have items in good condition to donate they will take them too free after the move is completed. Three young men showed up exactly on time, ready to work. They moved our furniture, and then at my request, packed some items that I had not gotten out of some drawers. Wade led the crew, and he and Eric and Andy worked like Trojans, for nearly 10 hours, all with great senses of humor and cameraderie. When all was said and done, there were no nicks or scrapes in either home, and they placed the furniture exactly where we wanted it, meaning that they moved it around to fit our needs and tastes. It was hard to believe how strong these guys are, and so conscientious in everything they did. This was the best move, ever. On very quick notice, Volken movers came to the rescue - literally! My relative had a stroke and her house needed to be cleaned out in a week (since that was my time frame flying in from VT). They removed furniture to be resold at thier "store", took truckloads of garbage to the dump, and helped match electronic equipment with remotes. The best part was the personnel - starting with the initial phone call, specific to scheduling, expectations, and clear communication.
