Side Chicken Sausage
Thomas G.

This thing is so big it's a challenge to eat so you need to smash it. My issue wasn't so much the smash but after the first bite you begin to lose ingredients. If it wasn't the ham it was the egg or tomato slipping out. It's tasty but I will definitely opt for a diff sandwich option next time. Service is wonderful. Looks like they do a bunch of door dash etc.

Chicken salad sandwich, Broccoli And Cheddar soup and a Side Salad

5+ Friendly people, comfortable space, jam worthy playlist. I knew I'd enjoy my food and time there from the moment I walked in and was greeted with a smiling face saying "Hello". So many choices to choose from. I went with the soup and sandwich combo, which also comes with a small side salad and a cookie or an Apple. The perfect combo to me! I went with the house made chicken salad, broccoli and cheese soup, sugar cookie. Within a few minutes everything was sitting at my table waiting to be devoured. 5 stars zero complaints the chicken salad, soup or the cookie. I live about 35 minutes away. I was in the area dog sitting. I almost drove 35 minutes the next morning for the exact same meal. It is THAT good! Tip: Free WiFi available and they cater events

My friend brought me to this cafe for lunch - super cute place. They're already decorated for Easter. We placed food for dine in at the ordering counter and found a table to sit at. I ordered the Yacht Club sandwich with chips and a Caramel Frappe and my friend ordered a flatbread. My sandwich was so filling and really good. All the ingredients tasted really fresh. My frappe was delicious. The staff were friendly here and the prices are super reasonable. Such a great place for the area.

First time here and loved it. There are so many drink options and food options. I liked that the food is served on plates when eating in, the drinks are in plastic cups, would've loved lugs, but it's minor infraction, lol! The food was really good and so were the drinks. The space itself it supervise and decorated nicely.. the aqua theme makes it feel airy! Definitely will be back

My cousin introduced me to this place after working out at Planet Fitness. I think I ended up going back six times and every time was extremely impressed with the food, the coffee, and the service. I think it was my second or third time in and was greeted by name. That impressed me so much. You should definitely try the Burrizo Burrito. So good! The coffee is great. I get a mocha with cinnamon. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Nothing but good things to say about here

BLT

I went back recently and was highly disappointed. I ordered a BLT and was served the thinnest sandwich I had in my life. Also, not sure what's going on with the beverage section but they keep very limited amount of ice tea and lemonade out for customers. I was racing to fill my cup up with another gentleman because the containers were being refilled a cup at a time. The hash brown sandwich had a piece of lettuce on it. Everything just seemed to be rationed and skimpy. For the price against the product, I probably won't return again.

This place is so cute and quaint. I love that I found it. It's truly a little cafe we're you can sit and do work or meet up with friends. They are always super nice when I go in and I ended up going three days in a row. You will have to wait a little after you order so don't be in a rush. I ordered tuna on a toasted croissant with American cheese, pickles, and roasted red peppers. The tuna wasn't over seasoned and had a great consistency. The sandwich as a whole was very flavorful and I ended up ordering it again the next day but on white toast and a little red onion. I think I like the toasted croissant better. Now the side house salad dressing is sooo good. They should never stop making it. The first time I tasted it I got it as a side but didn't eat the cranberries. I ended up getting a full house salad later that week and removed the cranberries and added cucumbers, croutons, and feta cheese. The croutons are not crunchy: just FYI. But I still loved the salad. I did try the broccoli cheddar soup a few days later. Unfortunately, I didn't really like it. It was a little too watery for me. The lemonade and sweet tea weren't real lemony or sweet. More on the watery side. But overall I really love this cute place and will be back probably one day every week for lunch.

Love this local spot! Not entirely sure when they opened but it has been there for a while and I have gone there now about 3-4 times. Each time, I get great service and delicious food and drinks. They have a wide range of items that you can pick from for breakfast and I believe some sandwiches and pastries. They also have plenty of seats indoors if you choose to eat/drink there. They also have some games you can play and a small "gift shop" where you can buy merch. There is plenty of parking as there are other stores nearby.

16 oz Harvest Latte

I love this little cafe. It's such a nice spot to have in the area. They're always well decorated with the season, and the staff is consistently welcoming and kind. I ordered the avocado toast (added egg), a blueberry scone, and a harvest latte. Let me say: I am OBSESSED with the harvest latte. I eagerly wait for them to sell it every year and I am always sad when it leaves. I don't know how to describe the flavor, but know it is basically fall in a cup. Like pumpkin spice but way better. I always get it with oat milk, which I really think just takes it to another level. You have to try it if it's in season. Crunchy toast, creamy avocado, warm egg - perfect avocado toast! I love the salt and crushed pepper they put on top. The egg does cost more, but I think it's worth it for a little extra something. They also have a crabby avocado toast, which I didn't get today, but I highly recommend that too! I've really been into scones lately for whatever reason, and it's been interesting to see how they differ depending on who makes them. First of all, this scone was HUGE. Scones tend to be on the less sweet side, but this one was probably one of the least sweet I've had (not a bad thing!). I think most of the sweetness came from the crunchy sugar on the top and the blueberries inside. The flavor really just reminded me of a biscuit. It also wasn't super dry like scones are known to be. I truly love coming here. It's worth the stop if you're nearby!

I'll admit, I only purchased a tea to go, but the staff was friendly enough and the place seemed to be very popular. The line was long when I arrived - but it moved pretty quickly. I'll have to go back if I'm in the area again and try out the other options.

Chesapeake (special)
Theresa S.

Came across Joanna's while on a work trip and was pleasantly surprised. Inside is cute and casual with an assortment of pastries and goodies on display. We all ordered the special breakfast, the Chesapeake which was so freaking good. It was two fried eggs, bacon, avocado, and CRAB all on a perfectly toasted Asiago bagel. It was so good and not too heavy on the stomach. I also had to try their popular latte options such as the Starr and the Death Starr, both were delicious and kept me caffeinated all day. The next day I tried the Burrata sandwich, this was also pretty good and I loved how they toasted with the bread with the mozzarella (making the perfect cheese pull). The grilled cheese , Mac n cheese, and tomato soup were also quite good. This is a small portions spot so don't expect huge meals out of here. Everything was decently priced and service was great. Even if you are just grabbing a coffee this is the spot!

Asiago Bagel with egg and bacon

No complaints from someone who always complains. Great cafe atmosphere, decent prices, awesome employees, I will stop by here every time I'm in this area. They also have some type of rewards system.

Joey S.

My wife and I both ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissants and coffee, and everything was absolutely tasty. The service was great, but the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because our drinks came about 5 minutes after we got our food. It was a minor issue, but it should reflect in the rating. The cafe itself is super cute, with a charming and relaxing atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can unwind and enjoy a good meal. Despite the minor hiccup, we'll definitely be returning!

Coffee is fantastic! Smoothies are a little on the sugary side. Other food/pastries seem yummy. Very cute spot.

The good prices and generous portions are just the ribbon on the prize. The dinner, I had the veal cutlet. Wow. The veal was the size of my head, and cooked just right. The gravy had just the right consistency. Breakfast on Saturday was an early one, and I had the country fried steak. Again, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Sunday breakfast I tried the chipped beef. It had ALL the flavor and wasn't gritty tasting like some other diners. The service is ALWAYS friendly and fast, I've never had to wait for a seat, and my food comes out piping hot. The coffee is always fresh and they leave plenty of creamer. Parking is a little tight but not insane. Last but not least, they bring the check in a reasonable amount of time. I hate waiting forever for the check. The restaurant is clean, and brightly painted. There is also counter seating if you're flying solo. Definitely a place with local color, I think I found my new favorite spot on the Dundalk/Essex side of town!!!

So, in fear I drank the iced tea. I did notice as a prior rater stated, the vegan menu is very light, so i ordered a burger instead. After the waitress (the mean one) brought out the burger we needed some emotional encouragement to bite into that meat. Wow was that good. The mean waitress actually made me put my own ketchup on the fries. How DARE SHE!! Overall, I give the diner 5 stars only because the mean waitress told me i better write a good review...OR ELSE!! Come hungry leave happy, and remember to bring extra money because the waitress forces you to tip!

The staff was friendly and the service was smooth even with a steady crowd, which I appreciated. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict with breakfast potatoes. The presentation looked great, and everything was cooked well, but the flavor just didn't quite hit for me. The crab cake itself was decent, but the overall dish needed more seasoning to really stand out. The potatoes especially were under-seasoned and a bit bland, which was a letdown because that's usually an easy win at a breakfast spot. That said, it wasn't a bad experience at all just not as flavorful as I was hoping. I'd be open to coming back and trying something different on the menu (and probably grabbing one of those homemade pop-tarts everyone talks about) to give it another shot.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy, so we had about a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it. We ordered the G&G Country Scramble, Sweet Baby Jesus, Cap'n Crunch French Toast, and the spicy crab, tomato, and pepper jack dish. The menu definitely has a Southern-style Maryland feel with things like crab, biscuits and gravy, and grits throughout. Portions are huge, and the food was rich, comforting, and very filling. We absolutely needed a nap afterward. The Cap'n Crunch French Toast was perfect to share for the table. I recommend eating it first while it is still crispy on the outside. Our table favorite was the G&G Country Scramble, followed closely by the Sweet Baby Jesus. I also tried the homemade lemonade and it was delicious. Service was great and the whole place had a warm, family-style atmosphere. One helpful thing to note, a 20% gratuity is automatically included on bills over $50, and they do not split checks.
