Stumbled upon this place for lunch because I was not sure what I wanted to eat. Very cute and clean cafe place. The guy that took and made my order was very friendly and gave great service. They have a great selection of sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Of course coffee and even ice-cream. I made my own turkey sandwich and paid $9. The prices are really reasonable. Definitely will be returning and I strongly suggest you try this place out.

Nice people. Comfortable space. Zekes coffee and community. Seats outside and inside. Owners take a personal interest. Great place to sit and drink coffee. And they have wi-fi!!

white chocolate mocha - A hand is holding a clear plastic cup filled with iced coffee that has milk, with a straw inserted through the lid. The background shows a cafe interior with tables, chairs, and a few customers seated, along with a vending machine and large windows. The setting appears casual and well-lit.

Everytime I come here the people are all so nice, even if I've never seen them before. I don't think you can really go wrong with their coffees, every latte and mocha i've had here has been amazing, especially the iced white chocolate mocha (per the recommendation of the cashier). I was once doing work here for several hours and the same cashier brought me water and checked up on me every so often to make sure i was still doing ok. 10/10, best coffee in towson and they treat everyone like family. You can also get work done pretty easily, as the tables are usually open (lots of grab and go customers from what i've seen). Try it out, they have food and drink for everyone, even ice cream!!

Excellent place to grab not only a coffee, but breakfast, lunch or dinner! Great food, super clean and the owners are incredibly nice people that genuinely care about their customers, and know most by name! My husband and I got lunch, he got the roast beef with cheddar and I got the Reuben. Both were delicious and stuffed with meat. Comes with chips and pickle. Coffee is always great. On street metered parking. Lots on the menu! We always come back.

Wow! The coffee was delicious and fresh, and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. They also made a suggestion for my coffee that resulted in me being even more satisfied. We will 100% be back!

Just amazing

Coffee Talk Cafe is a great spot for lunch! Delicious sandwiches and friendly staff. FYI, it doesn't look like much from the outside and has no street presence, so it can be easily overlooked, but don't hesitate going in to this hidden gem! Upon walking in I was greeted with a hello from a lady making sandwiches behind the counter and she asked if there was anything she could get started on. So off the bat, they have great customer service and are super quick and willing to please! I ordered the Italian Cold Cut sub, it is my go-to sandwich everywhere else, and it was listed first so it must be good right!? I made it a meal for $9.99, which included the sandwich, chips, a salad choice (potato, pasta, coleslaw or fruit), a cookie or brownie, and a drink! That is a ton of food for $10, SOLD! There was an option to get the sandwich toasted and I did, and it was PERFECTLY lightly toasted and the bread stayed super soft. It was a pretty big sub, and with all the sides I only ate half and saved the other for the next day. The sandwiches here feel homemade and made with love, and are absolutely delicious! The potato salad was delicious, you get a small sampling of it. The brownie was ok, I had to wait for it to thaw out a bit since they kept it in the fridge. And I love that they serve Zekes Coffee! Yumm. I have had a few coworkers order food from here and everyone has had great things to say about it, so I definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for a good sandwich!

This could possibly be the greatest sandwich I have had in my life.

This place is a hidden gem in Towson. Deli lunch box meals are the way to go, and if you have room spring for the ice cream.

The restaurant is on the smaller side but not so much that you're breathing down the next tables neck. The appetizer sampler cost $20 and was a fantastic sharing option for friends - came with fresh oven baked bread that was refilled free of charge. I especially loved their hummus. I ordered the Koobideh Kebab (ground beef), which was tender, juicy, and large. The rice also was light and flavorful. I only wish the dish came with a few veggies on the side and some tzatziki sauce but you can ask (and probably pay) for it. My friends enjoyed their salmon and lamb kebab. I tried my husbands Fessenjan, a sweet and sour chicken stew. It was sweet and delicious and came in a large portion and with rice. All in all, a fantastic place! Only tricky part can be parking, but there's metered street parking up front and free neighborhood parking nearby.

Pleasantly pleased with my first Persian experience…read more Just off Joppa Road no the eastern edge of Towson is a massive complex built just for shops. In the sea of massage parlors, tanning salons, and laundromats is a Orchard Market & Cafe, serving up authentic Persian cuisine for 35+ years and counting. Had the fam visiting sis in nearby Pikesville. When we come down she always picks somewhere off the beaten path, something unique. This visit was no exception. Having never tried Persian food, I was excited to try something completely new. In this case, it was new yet also familiar. It's kind of like a mix between Indian and Mediterranean. You've got your assortment of stews and grilled meats infused with saffron, cardamom, and turmeric served of course with a side of basmati rice. The Mediterranean influence can be seen in their homemade hummus and use of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is perhaps no better example than the Mango Pear Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, mango, pear, Bulgarian feta and pomegranate vinaigrette. If you're feeling up for some true Persian fusion, you can't go wrong with Spicy Kermani Beef, which features succulent filet mignon sauteed with mushrooms and pepperoncinis in a zesty tomato garlic curry sauce. Everything in that brief description is right up my alley, and usurpingly the meal did not disappoint. Service was on point from start to finish, the finish being a tall glass of Persian saffron ice cream. Now this was truly a first for me, as I've never had anything like this in my life. The taste can be described as earthy, slightly floral and very aromatic. Rosewater adds the floral notes, while the saffron gives it the signature golden-yellow color and luxurious scent. Definitely a one-of-a-kind flavor that I highly suggest trying. The dining room is cozy with some neat pieces of art resembling ancient Middle Eastern artifacts adorning the walls. All in all I'm glad we got to try cuisine that doesn't have much representation in this neck of the woods.

If my husband did not find this spot, I don't think I would've noticed it. That said, I am very happy he did!! After ordering all we did though, we kind of made it our own buffet and the price was very reasonable! Each person averaged about $30 . The biryani was so good and the rice was tender! The Apollo 65 fish appetizer was also delicious!! Very tender pieces of fish paired with a spicy coating was so flavorful! The egg noodle dish was also a table favorite! Our group of six went to Hyderabad Stories in Cockeysville planning to dive into their lunch buffet, only to find out they no longer offer it. Since we were already there and hungry, we decided to stick around and order from the regular menu and honestly, it worked out just fine. The space used to be San Sushi before the owner retired, and the interior layout is pretty much the same. It is simple and perfectly serviceable for small to medium groups. When we visited, we were actually the only occupied table, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. Since there was no official buffet, we decided to make our own by ordering a half dozen dishes to share. We went with a variety of curries, multiple biryanis, butter chicken, samosas, and plenty of naan for the table. Everything came out at a great pace and the service was very friendly and efficient throughout. The curries were the highlight for me. Some were dialed up with extra heat for the spice lovers at the table, while others were milder, but all of them were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. The biryanis were also excellent, with generous portions of both lamb and chicken. No skimping on the protein here. Pricing was reasonable, and when we split the bill it came out to about what each of us would typically spend at an Indian lunch buffet anyway. Overall, even without the buffet option, Hyderabad Stories is a great Indian food choice in the area and definitely worth checking out if you are craving flavorful curries and solid biryani.
