Average grocery store with insanely high prices. It's a place that I try to avoid. Go to Wegman's instead.

Not a place to shop for your staples but they have high quality store made foods, like chicken noodle soup and peanut butter.

Ask the Community - Graul's Market

I'd like to know more about their cake flavors?

Vanilla, chocolate, marble mix and also have carrot cake and other specialty cake flavors. Their cakes really are the best around. Especially with buttercream frosting!

I made it clear that at age 87 I have mobility issues due to an injury to my legs in 2003 that has come back to haunt me! What has happened to the completed order online? How do I access it this morning? Bad website design says this retired Computer programmer/analyst of 30 years experience.

They regularly sell expired or near-expired items (as in 1 day). I showed the stock personnel about a popular pasta-based meal kit that was more than a week past expiration and they left it on the shelf, I spotted a day later. 2. Make sure the advertisement sign matches what you are buying - they do shady things like moving the items over from the sale tag so you are confused. 3. Check your receipt. These guys are tricksters and sheisters and will swap out items at every chance. At times I have found more than 50% inaccuracies on my receipt. Of course, I have to wait forever in a line to contest with customer service. 4. Worst beef E-V-E-R. Been cooking beef for30+ years - these animals are not well. Inedible & rock tough no matter how you cook, and zero flavor. Subpar distributors/farmers. Go to GIANT. 5. Beware of shopping here. I am not sure how they have not been shut down by OSHA/FDA.

I just happened to be next door at a different place when I remembered I had forgotten something…read morewhen I did my grocery shopping earlier in the day so I came to this Giant out of convenience. It was jam packed on a snowy Sunday. They did have 7 self check out counter and two regular ones open but all of the lines were long. Not a bad shopping trip but I wasn't in there long so would have to do a full shopping trip for a more accurate review.

I like the international foods section where they have Goya products (I prefer the calamari in marinara) ! I also tried 2 ginger 'shots' (1 of which I tried while I was on the bench inside the Giant) while I was and they were very spicy ! ...But good lol. They also carry Rao's products! I happened upon a security guard inside the Giant and I confirmed he carried a gun (because I think I saw it as I walked in). It turns out he is an employee of a private security firm that won business with Giant and he is armed due to his private security firm 'allowance'? He said he also 'carried' all the time off of work. I was shocked that he was armed in Giant (a grocery store!) and said something of the sort. I think it 'overlord' to carry a gun in a grocery store. If this is the case across the country why are they possibly arresting, beating, shooting people maybe for 'stealing/shoplifting' a little bit of food or baby products! Maybe people have no money and need a little assistance while maintaining their freedom and maybe they have a brother who would pay the bill... all humans need to eat but first and foremost they need cash to live. I wonder if this armed security guard(s) have ever given cash to the homeless... anyway totally weird, Giant and security firm (company) ! They are scaring everyone! And they are not kind. Does giant have any food programs or farmers markets ?? What a horrendous company making millions and millions for themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I do use Eddie's for is there emphasis on local items as well as their fancy cakes. I prefer this location as I have had much better luck dropping in and finding specific cake flavors and like that there is an actual parking lot versus a tiny garage. I will purchase local kombucha, coffee and vegan ice cream sometimes at Eddie's. I like the selection they have, especially of Zeke's coffee and Wild Bay kombucha. For the bakery, I go to Eddie's because they have slightly fancier cakes that can be picked up at any time (don't need to pre-order). Of course, you can pre-order, which is advisable, because you never know what they will have in stock. For my wife's last birthday, I grabbed a raspberry and chocolate cake which the bakery employee offered to write a message on at no extra charge. What a cool service! Eddie's has a decent selection of gluten free and vegan items. I will peruse them but don't usually purchase because of the price point. Anyways, Eddie's is cool and I will definitely continue to visit on special occasions. The prices keep it from being a regular grocery destination.

Now that they have gotten rid of those, there is no reason for me to ever come back. Self checkout takes forever, because it doesn't register light items. I stopped in at 8:35 PM to grab groceries for a potluck breakfast. As usual, I used the handheld scanner to scan my items while shopping, bagged them in my reusable bag, and paid $81.00 at self-checkout. As I tried to leave, an employee stopped me to ask if I had made two transactions. I told him no and attempted to leave again--only to be stopped by the security guard, who demanded to see my receipt and then went through my bag to verify that I had paid for everything. Of course, I had. Not once did I receive an apology for being treated like a criminal. If this is how Giant treats its paying customers, they can count me out. No one should have to go through this kind of humiliation just for buying groceries.
