Food was good and tasty. It didn't take long to get our food and everything was hot and fresh. Service was ok, nothing bad but I think it was because they were a bit busy. Would definitely visit again.

5 star for the amount of food given for the price! I got Cajun style catfish and shrimp platter and it came with so much food! The taste was good as well. I also got a Crazy Burger for my daughter, and it was THE BIGGEST BURGER EVER. Nice price, laid back diner style food.

Onion rings, onions were not cooked long enough I notified Ms Kim and she treated me with lack of concern. Did not fix issue

The young lady who took my order was very Nice!!! i ordered a double burger and onion rings. I walked up to an older lady, which I think her name was Kim. I told her that I didn't like the onion rings( the were not cooked properly ( onions were somewhat raw) so I attempt to hand them to her asking could she replace them with a 1/2 order of fries and my request was quickly denied I went back to my seat and thought "how easy it could have been for her to give me 1/2 order of fries, due to the 1/2 cooked onion rings service is not the same anymore I will attempt to show a picture of the rings. I spent a little over 20.00$

We order burgers all around. The burgers were delicious! They gave us an order of fried Oreos on the house. They were actually pretty good too! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the tea was awful unfortunately. I chose not to drink with my meal.

We ordered the bacon avocado burger and bacon avocado chicken sandwich. Asked for chicken sandwich to be cut in half and was told no, that they don't like cutting it in half. Lol. Okay. Not sure why, when we got the sandwich, there were 2 chicken like strips. The burger and the sandwich are huge. The burger was much better than the chicken sandwich. The bread! Always good.

We've always loved the JLB on Stella Link, so we assumed this location would offer the same quality. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. When our food arrived, we weren't given any condiments. The teenager at the counter disappeared into the kitchen, and after waiting about 10 minutes, she never came back. By this point, our food had gone cold. Frustrated, I went behind the counter and grabbed mustard, mayo, and ranch from the fridge where I could see they were stored. When the employee finally reappeared and I explained what I had done, both she and (I assume) the owner just glared at me for the rest of our meal. To top it off, when I went to the restroom, the soap was watered down to the point of being ineffective--possibly a cost-cutting measure. If they're skimping on hygiene in a public restroom, I can't help but worry about what corners they're cutting in the kitchen.

The first time we ate from here it was delicious. That's why we went back but this time. Our meat was undercooked but the manager was not having it. She made sure to tell us she was not wrong and she was not happy we asked to remake it. I will say after all the misunderstanding we did get fried Oreos on the house. And I appreciate it that.

I'm not joking when I say this, but this is the best burger I've ever had. The burgers are huge!! And the buns are amazing. The fries and onion rings are also amazing too.

My husband and I both said "shockingly good food." I got the bacon burger with sweet potato fries, he got the regular cheeseburger, and it was all unbelievably delicious! They were so flavorful, and the homemade buns were light and fluffy and airy, not dense and heavy, so I could eat more of the huge burger than I usually can at other burger restaurants! The service was good and quick, and the atmosphere was nice! They had one TV playing sports, and one playing old black-and-white movies. I loved the latter. I never see that in restaurants! They had outdoor seating which was really nice, but the eatery is sadly right next to the highway, so it was too loud to talk out there. Nice spot if you're alone, though.

Disappointed that I added fries to a kids meal because they charged an additional 3.50 like they do to adult size burgers but, they give you way less fries. If I get less fries to make my kids meal a combo then I should pay less money to make it combo.

Decent food, bad customer service. For my order wrong and attempted to tell me I ordered the wrong thing. Asked if they wanted me to bring the food back and was told no, wait till tomorrow they were closing. Gave me a piece of chicken and bread. Basically told me I should have kept the sides from the day before. Very disappointed in this and will not be coming back. Ordered this to go during quarantine and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It is nice and juicy. The bun is delicious and soft. I also got Cajun wings - there is no sauce, they are basically just fried wings but their batter is pretty good too! The burger was your average size of any burger place around houston. This place is great. Everything is good. Plain and simple. The fried seafood is cooked perfectly and their burgers are amazing. If you want something a little different, try the oversized pork chop sandwich. It's tasty as well. All in all, if they open one in your area, run to the nearest entrance. read more

Huge selection of food! Everything from buffalo shrimp to quesadillas. My husband and I got a burger and a wrap and was not disappointed. They were very busy at lunch, but we got our food pretty fast. Every table has a shaker of Tony's - that's when we knew we were not going to be disappointed. Will be coming back! read more

Burgers were good. Meat had a good flavor to it. At first look the burger looks like it's nothing but bread BUT the bun, even though big looking, is very light! When you grab it, the bread softens down to the patty. Very good cafe tasting burger. My husband loved the fries, they had some type of season sprinkled on it. We also ordered the hot wings. Those were okay, sauce tastes like Frank's hot sauce. The place is pricey though, we paid about $35 for our meal. read more

I've been here several times never been disappointed the food is excellent you get so much for the price the burgers are huge I definitely recommend this spot they have more than one location I've only been to this one my only downfall is I don't know if it's a sewer gas near them or something like that but by it being a eating spot it's kind of disappointing that it reeks of sewer at times‍I've asked the management about it but they claim it's just the area that the other places that's located in that area is the saying that they've tried to complain about it but it's nothing that can be done about it as picky as I am I overlook that and that's something I normally don't do if I smell something like that I'm walking right back out it doesn't appear every time I go there with the fact that it can have that sent it doesn't sit well with me. Still working out the kinks as a new business (Take out station wasn't working but sign is there and was serviced after people that arrived after me as I waited but didn't get a response until I went to the main register). The burgers are Texas sized and delicious. Fries were ok and the quesadillas were good. My kid ate the whole burger, which is a rare instance. Will definitely be back. read more

Second time here. I ordered the Joy Love Burger and my husband ordered the double meat Joy love burger. The meat was full of flavor and the fries were seasoned well. I could only eat half. The bun is so soft and good it literally melts in your mouth. I want to try the quesadilla and the pork chops next time. read more

I'm pretty disappointed. I read all these wonderful reviews, so I decided to try it. My first mistake was not asking for mustard. My fault there. I don't really care for that much mayo, and I don't like shredded lettuce. All it does is fall out! The bun was good. The hamburger was nothing special. Five Guys is so much better! The fries weren't that great either. Just skinny fries. The portions are large. I'm just not seeing what everyone is raving about. read more

My daughter liked her bacon cheeseburger but did not care for the french fries, I ordered the club sandwich with egg and it was A runny mess of the bread was not able to hold up well at all. Customer service; when you have a huge line you should not answer the phone for takeout orders and ignore everyone in front of you for 10 minutes, the girl was very sweet but overwhelmed read more

Sooooooo good! The burgers are huge (big enough to split). So juicy and flavorful and the bread is so fresh... baked in-house. This size of sides is also pretty large making the food very much worth it's value! I also love that the patio is pet-friendly, making it an awesome hangout for all of us with pups. read more

Tried the Joy Love on Memorial, which I thought was good. Waited until I've gone to this (529/Eldridge) Joy Love a few times before writing a review. After having the Cajun wings twice and the burger twice...it's official, this place is legit. Food is well seasoned and hot. The toast and the buns are great. Next time, I'll try the pork chops but I suspect it will be amazing also. The place is clean and your food is cooked to order. The last time I was there, they brought out my daughters food first because they wanted to make sure it's hot. I appreciate gestures like that. Restaurant/bathroom was clean and nice. Burgers were amazing as well as the buffalo ranch sandwich. However, the lady at the front taking our order was very unpleasant and didn't appear to like her job very much. Seemed annoyed. Other than that, the food and experience was great. We did speak with the owners daughter who was very sweet and offered us her dad's homemade Korean style French toast. Very yummy!! read more

Nice people, great food, however they close right at dinner time. I mean, 7:45pm went in for dinner w my family & was told they close @ 8 & would ONLY do TO GO. They were in such a hurry for us to leave by 8 we just returned home w our burgers & they were under done & had raw parts. While waiting on OUR "to go" a family of 6 came in & they were told the same. I'm certain you dont pack a family of six up for picking up to go. read more

Having a new eating establishment in the area is always nice, and seeing that it is another outpost of a restaurant that is succeeding in other locations is great. My hopes were high as my wife and I strolled in for lunch on Wednesday at noon. Their menu has plenty on it besides burgers, including 3 kinds of French fries (reg, waffle, & curly). We got cheeseburgers and reg fries--standard stuff for our first trip there. The burger is a big one, mostly because of the oversized bun (fluffy, lightly toasted). Meat patty is decent in size but ours were nearly devoid of flavor; salt? pepper? Hmmmm. A good amount of tomato slices, pickle slices, and lettuce were present, along with mayo. The fries were wonderfully hot, right out of the oil and dusted with an orange-tinted season salt, but those too were lacking much flavor. I expect to go back and plan to try chili cheese fries, catfish, and other stuff, then will hopefully get to boost the star rating. read more

We tried Joy Love Burgers tonight and we were impressed. The burgers and fries were made fresh to order. The buns were soft and homemade. They make all their bread in house. One of the employees brought out a huge tray of homemade bread and it smelled and looked amazing. The restaurant was bright, open, and clean and I was surprised because it used to me a bar. We ordered the Cajun wings as well. They were good but didn't taste like traditional wings. They tasted like plain fried chicken. Coming from California, this is by far the best burger we ever had. We got the avocado burger. The homemade bread that they made in store, with angus beef patty was just amazing. The crust on the bread added the great crunch and the spread was just right, not overwhelming and let me taste the quality of the beef and the bread. The avocado was also really tasty and the price was reasonable considering the high quality burger. Will definitely come back when we are in town. read more

The sandwich came with the requisite meat, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and provolone cheese all on a soft bread bun, it was very good tasting but I wanted more content inside the bun. The Philly Cheesesteaks that I have had in the Philly area had more meat, cheese and everything else. I would have gladly paid $2-3 more for that. Like I said, very good tasting but give me more filling! The fries were large crinkle cut ones and were served hot but they were also a little soggy in the middle. Perhaps undercooked? Finally they charge extra for a credit card without any signage I saw other than when the clerk ran up the bill. I wanted to give a 4 score but have to go with a 3 instead.

Came in here for lunch today right when it opened and was surprised at how many people were in line already! I was a bit skeptical thinking the food would take a lot longer due to the amount of people, but surprisingly, our food came out in less than 10 minutes! My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and I got the wings. The portions are HUGE! The meat patty is definitely one of the best burger patties I've had and it melts in your mouth. The wings were large and very juicy. The hot sauce was amazing. The establishment was very clean and the decor is adorable inside. The customer service was exceptional.
