The setup is a little unique. It's located in the back of another restaurant, and the official way to order and pick up is through the drive-through. I didn't know the rules yet and walked in, but honestly? Didn't matter. From the moment I stepped inside, I was treated like family. Super welcoming from start to finish, from ordering to walking out the door. The young ladies working there talked me into grabbing dessert, and they weren't overselling it because it was just as good as promised. When I picked up my food at the window, they even tossed in a fresh lemonade as a bonus... which was so good I didn't end up sharing it with my wife on the 25-minute drive home (sorry, babe ). I'm gluten-free, so I ordered mine without a bun and it was still fantastic. My wife said hers bun and all was just as delicious. I took one small bite from one of the waffle squares just to taste it, and when I asked if I could get something else instead, they refused because I had already taken a bite. I only took that one bite to determine if the waffle was as hard as it appeared. After the waffle incident, before my mom had even finished eating, the waitress asked if I wanted the check already. I found the timing a little odd and couldn't help but wonder if they were trying to rush us out, although I can't say for sure.
