After doing my research and seeing food bloggers post online about this place, I decided to try it! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm - packed! There were no tables available inside and there were people inside and outside waiting for their orders. That's something to be ready for if you come on a Saturday. Our order didn't actually take that long. Or maybe it took a little while and we didn't mind waiting. Either way, it wasn't that bad! Luckily it's located in a shopping area so there's always parking. My main gripe is that they close at 7pm. I'm sure there's a good reason for that but I've wanted to try it multiple times before but they've been closed! I ended up going with the infamous brisket and fried rice. The brisket was super tender - I was able to pull it apart with my fork. I typically shy away from brisket because usually it's tough. But this was delicious - tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Not overwhelming or too salty. The rice had a great flavor too. There were chunks of meat in that as well and the rice had a nice smoky flavor. Not too salty or greasy. It also came with some accoutrements - pickled onions, fresh pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, bbq sauce and bread. The cucumbers and onions stole the show - very fresh and refreshing. We were surprised at the pickled onions - they were soo good! Overall - worth the hype! I'll definitely be back to try ribs, chicken or pulled pork sandwich. I heard everything is good here!!

I'm viet and imo that's the best way to pickle anything. Restaurant clean, service friendly and very fast. You can tell they are a neighborhood favorite, so many people came in after us to pick up and dine in! Only thing to "improve" is it was a little warm in the restaurant. Not sure if the ac was struggling bc of this Texas heat or what but other than that, food was excellent and we definitely will be back. Highly recommend!

Interesting…read moreconcept, as the only other slider "restaurant" that comes to mind is White Castle, to which I haven't been so cannot speak to how this compares. I placed an online order - it quoted my food to be ready in 15 minutes but I got the text that it was ready in just 7 minutes. Fast service! When you pull up, it's a bit hidden in the strip center so keep an eye out for the Chubbies sign or you might unknowingly drive past. The restaurant itself is very small with only a few tables for dining in, so I think it's meant to be more of a takeout place. My food was ready for me to pick up on the shelf to the right of the counter. I was able to get additional napkins and ketchup at the adjacent self-serve station. I got the Chubbie and Rodeo Clown sliders with a side of fries. Total came out to just over $11 after tax which is pretty reasonable for lunch. The Chubbie is their classic slider, patty with cheese and diced onions. The Rodeo Clown was a patty with cheese, bacon, and onion ring. These came with a side of their house Chubbie sauce for dipping. I did like the Rodeo Clown much more because of the add-ons for the same price as the Chubbie. Nonetheless, both sliders tasted good and with the side of fries, I was content. I will say that the real deal was a bit of a disappointment compared to the photos they have on their online menu. IRL, the sliders appeared smaller and flatter. The fries were standard straight cut fries served in a paper bag. I do wish that they would have at least put the fries in a cup or butcher paper inside the bag, because all the grease got soaked up in the paper bag and made for a bit of a mess. I hope that this place makes it, as the employee (owner?) working the counter when I came in seemed like a genuine guy who was happy to help. I'd love to try more of their sliders as well as the chicken tenders because I read that these are massive!

Limited menu helps them focus on the quality of their items. Husband got 2 slider combo with milkshake and I got 1 slider combo. We both got onion rings instead of fries. The total was $30.58. A little pricey in my opinion. Hubs got the Chubbie & the Rodeo Clown sliders and I got the Prom Queen chicken slider. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and flavorful. The chicken was juicy and there were several small pieces of bacon...a good amount for the tender. The burger sliders were very flavorful. Hubs said the Chubbie would've been better with cheddar (it comes with American cheese) but it was still good. The Rodeo Clown was his favorite. The size of the sliders are a little bigger than a White Castle but they filled us up nicely. The milkshake was a nice consistency...not too thick to drink from a straw but not too thin. Perfect. Not too sweet either. We will return!

The steak came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The fries were easily some of the best I've ever had, even better than the McDonald's fries. Everything was hot, fresh, and satisfying. They also run an amazing deal on Thursdays from 7-9 PM where you can get a 1 lb ribeye for $22, which is just unreal for the quality you're getting. This has definitely been one of my low key spots that I've been keeping to myself, but it deserves the recognition. Highly recommend checking it out.

It's located on Brittmoore near W. Little York and has parking on both sides of the building. Look for the sign. inside, it's a true "hole in the wall" dive bar that has a full kitchen and separate dining area next to the bar area with pool tables, TV's, juke box and full bar. You enter into the restaurant area first and then into the bar area. The restaurant has a big menu that includes breakfast. My first visit was to try their hamburger that comes with a 1/2 lb. beef patty on a beautiful brioche bun for $7.19 along with a small serving of their chili that comes without beans for $5.99. I added a fountain drink for $2.79 and my total bill with tax was a little over $17. Here everything is ordered à la carte so no combo discounts. They also offer daily specials. It took less than 10 minutes for the meal to be prepared in the open kitchen. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, pickle and was delicious. Heavy, juicy and flavorful, it was very good tasting and filling (4). The chili came with some melted cheese on top and I liked it even though it didn't come with beans (3). I'm sure that the chili goes well on their hot dogs here. You order at the counter and then they call out your name at the pick up window. I enjoyed this meal. The second visit was for the fried shrimp po boy ($9.59) with a small order of onions rings ($3.79) with an iced tea. The po boy had 5 shrimp with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion on a large hot dog type of bun. Yes, no French bread but then it was just $9.59 for a shrimp po boy and it did taste pretty good (3.5). The small order of thick rings were tasty too (3.5). I liked this meal and would order it again but thought the burger was just a little better. This is a good place to eat with reasonable prices. The staff here is also very friendly and I understand it is a popular place for people who live and work nearby to visit. There is a display case showing off US Navy memorabilia so there is a military tie in. I will return here again to try other menu items. P.S. The fried fish fillet is a 3 while the cole slaw is a 4. My french fries were just warm and I gave them a 3. Best menu item so far is the hamburger.

Here's what I ordered: Turkey burger- 4/5 pretty good. They were able to get the turkey patty crispy on the edges and had a delicious char to it similar to a regular hamburger. The bun was toasted and didn't get soggy but was light and had a great flavor. Good amount of pickles but hardly any lettuce and the lettuce that was there was not fresh looking at all. I would have liked maybe a tomato slice on it as well. I asked for the chicken sauce in the side and really glad I did and they listened. I tried it on my finger, a little bit on the burger, and on a fry...not for me. It's like a mix of mustardy, smokey, sweet, and also tangy. Fries- 3/5 maybe I just got unlucky today or maybe from having to travel to my house but the coating on them was a little too thick and had too much resistance to them. However seasoning was good. Banana pudding - 5/5 delicious but pricey. You do get to keep the mason jar so that's cool, but you really don't get a lot for $9 Overall, it's a solid place to eat and I would recommend.
