Food is good, decent simple sandwiches. The past few times though there has been way too much dressing on the sandwiches so I've learned to ask for it on the side or no dressing at all. Ordered on the app for pick up at 6:20 food was ready but they hadn't started the milkshakes order for my friend and I. It was not busy in there, just seemed like the workers were distracted in their conversations with eachother and laughing with a visitor hanging out at the front counter. Jitters - great name and logo! One star removed for the fact that this place never plows or shovels/salts - I almost wiped out in the parking lot and sidewalk twice. They also forgot the cold foam that we paid extra for in the Dirty Chai tea. No straw for the smoothie either which we didn't notice until it was too late. Best sandwiches and cheese Danish I may have ever had. And I've had my share in NYC for 10 years. Maybe it's just been that long I babe remember, but these were killer. Ciabatta was so airy and light and buttery, filling was juicy and flavorful. Danish was lightly crispy on the outside layer and soft and warm on the inside, super fluffy, and huge! Sugared top. Jitters is one of two decent cafe options in the Chili area! I used to go on a weekly or more basis back when I was in high school. It is located in very close proximity to Roberts Wesleyan College and Churchville Chili, so expect to find this spot densely populated with students, professors, teachers, and families. The good: - Most of the food here gets the job DONE! The chicken philly is my usual order here and it really is (greasy) tasty. They use a nice ciabatta bread on some of their sandwiches, and the wraps have been your standard fine cafe faire as well. I remember I also used to order some kind of bagel with honey butter? That ish was the BEST. If it is still on the menu and you want to indulge, DO IT! - Service is usually pretty speedy and things come out quick if you're in a rush. The less good: - The drinks, while often tasty, are not for someone who loves a good cup of third wave coffee at a UDC or Fuego type establishment. Everything is geared towards quickness (powdered chais, smoothie syrups) and not necessarily quality. Not knocking ya if you love these drinks (let's be real I tried some of my sister's Jitter Freeze recently and forgot how crazy tasty those things were) just saying if that is what you're looking for maybe skip Jitters. The food is great. Best lunch i have had in a while. My whole family loved what they ordered.

Four star food at reasonable prices. Their ham and egg sandwich on bagel is excellent along with the oatmeal and nutty tuna wrap. The updated decor opened up the window area bringing in more light. Its a little noisy when crowded but normal for most coffee shops. Outdoor seating is available though currently without shade (I have seen umbrellas but not today). The coffee is good and the iced coffee appears to be coffee iced instead of brewed cold. Since their coffee is good it isn't too bad, I added a little sweetness to it and enjoyed it. Wifi has been removed for some reason. The only thing I figure is being close to the local college they don't want students lingering? Odd for a coffee shop. I have my own hotspot so not a big deal, but be sure to bring a hotspot with you if planning to work or study. I hear they have excellent milkshakes and it's on my list to try! The food was ok, but the coffee I ordered seemed to be like a large espresso, which I didn't want, so it that's what it was. I can say anything other than yuck. But if that was the normal coffee. Exceeded my expectations. From the outside I was skeptical, but the inside is really nice. Reminds me of a Panara bread kind of vibe. Would be very comfortable to meet someone for a brief meeting, get together or to study. Not too noisy. I got a mocha frappe which was delicious. I ordered a Cheese Danish and a large cup of coffee. I was asked if I wanted the Dansih warmed and I said no, thank you. When I got home I opened the wrapped Danish to find it was something other than cheese. In fact, i am not sure even what it was. The pastry tasted stale and dry. Even though the coffee was hot, it was not at the level that one would expect from a coffee shop; it reminded me of Tim Hortons. Nearly $7 and a not so wonderful way to wake up. I love the food and the coffee! However please instruct your cook staff that gloves are not a substitute for washing hands! The cook came from around the kitchen to take a telephone order. She took her gloves off while working the register. She wiped her nose with one hand and handle her hair with the other. Not a problem in itself but she did not wash her hands before putting her gloves back on. That means the ick from her hands was transferred to the outside of the gloves. Then she made my salad. I've been a regular here for quite some time. They offer a variety of items on their menu such as wraps, sandwiches and salads. They also have smoothies, boba refreshers, tea, lemonade and the best house roasted coffee in town which they also sell by the bag within. I'm picky when it comes to coffee and in my opinion they beat out Leaf and Bean, Tim Hortons and Starbucks in the flavor department. Everything is always made fresh and to order, quickly and with a smile. The young kids work really well together and give the place a hip and lively feel. The decor mixes a modern industrial style with a classic cafe charm that feels cool and cozy. They have laminated menus to browse and also a few large, bright electronic billboards set at a comfortable height with good pictures. The food is hearty and hot and very fresh. We found Jitters to be a great place for a light lunch and some "girl talk". I had a bowl of chicken pot pie soup, which was creamy and delicious. I would have liked to be able to order a half sandwich to round out the lunch, bus the menu didn't offer that option. As it happens, the soup was filling enough. They were able to grant my "low sugar" request by adding sugar free French vanilla flavor to black coffee. It was nice and hot and fit the bill. The selection of coffees and teas was well rounded and the staff seemed friendly and accommodating. There are eight booths and at least that many tables for four, so even when busy I think you can find a place to sit. There was a roasting machine in a spare room and it would be fun to see it in action. I can only imagine how wonderful the aroma of roasting coffee beans would be. My daughter ordered a large vanilla chai smoothie with almond milk ...what she got was not that. She got a small drink and felt bad because there was only one girl working doing everything on her own so she didn't say anything . She gets home with her drink, mine and her boyfriend's. She drinks some. Says to me taste this. I don't think it's right. It had coffee in it. She can't have coffee with her disease. It makes her really really sick. I took it back to Jitters in North Chili and asked for the right drink to be made and they denied me a correction. I just wanted the right one in a small drink since she did drink some out of the small drink that was supposed to be a large and mind you we paid for a large. They have the absolute worst service and I would never go there ever ever again and give them my money. Especially for the price you pay for a drink you would think customer service would be top notch since there are so many other choices of places to go to. I was shocked at the level of unbelievably poor customer service. Save your money and support establishments with good customer service. I stop into Jitters on Buffalo Rd. often to pick up a cup of coffee before work. I would rather get coffee here than Tim Horton's. They offer a lot of different flavors of monin, smoothies, cold frappes, etc. Every so often I will get an everything bagel with cream cheese. I avoid their breakfast sandwiches because they don't use real eggs. They have pretty decent paninis/hot sandwiches and all of their sandwiches come with a bag of lays chips I like the inside of the place at the North Chili location better than in Henrietta or Elmgrove Rd's because it is more homey, and the way the booths are set up makes it more private to read, have a conversation without people staring at you, get work done, etc. They have a nice deck area as well. They don't open until 6:30AM (ish) M-F. JItters accepts credit cards but do not have the option to write in a tip, so if you are a good person bring a little cash. read more

I personally am not a big coffee drinker, so I've only tried some of their sandwich options. While good, they are sometimes a little too greasy? Oily? Buttery? I stopped here for lunch on my way home to Buffalo from Rochester and it was totally worth the 5 minute detour off the 490. Great menu with lots of sandwiches, salads and delicious baked goods. I ordered the honey wheat turkey wrap which is one of their popular sandwiches. It was delicious with the perfect ratio of fillings and honey mustard. I also had a regular coffee with nothing other than a little milk. This was some great tasting coffee. Only negative was I had trouble with their wifi. That was not my experience avoid at all cost! Service was very slow but ok you can overlook that but the food was awful. I ordered an Oreo cookie milkshake I was given an extremely liquid drink loaded with chocolate syrup with no ice cream or milk lol I'm not kidding. The topper was my almond cranberry chicken salad croissant. It didn't have any cranberries just some sort of redish spread and a few shaved almonds with a side of a BIG BLACK hair. Along with this order was a smoothie that was meh and the taco bomb which was also meh. I also pick up a box of K-cups so far 2 out of 3 have not worked and made a big mess. A nice coffee and sandwich place that deals with high competition from the two big boys in the neighborhood. How can Jitters compete? Easy, a quirky vibe, nice outdoor seating and fresher food. Been here (and the other places) several times and the coffee is good but the food is better. Jitters also separated itself by selling a multitude of coffees, teas and flavored syrups for your home brewing needs. They also have a nice selection of "k" cups. Love the food here, however we had to leave because they do not have a baby changing table in the restroom. As of 2019 it is illegal to not provide one in the restrooms. I hope they update this soon, as it is a huge inconvenience for moms and dads. read more
