    Salmon Poke Bowl

Such fresh sushi! I got the tuna poke bowl- clean fish and it was super tasty! I also got a spicy hamachi maki roll, which was delicious as well. This is a very small shop but they specialize in to-go orders, and the workers are great!

Very disappointed !! Paid $21.40 for Rainbow Flight 彩虹套餐 and it was like worst sushi joke. Probably smallest portion of each sushi pieces on my long sushi life and I can't trust these reviews here anymore. Fish for all pieces was NOT fresh at all, and sushi rice had worst preparation. These photos on advertisement for this sushi shop are so amazing and how can they make bad against it. I was very excited to visit and just tasted awful. $21.40 didn't take care of my lunch starving. If sushi place charges decent amount of money they should get serious about hiring at least good chef or something. I hope they take this matter seriously. TOO BAD !

I wandered into this little sushi spot in Boston and instantly felt like I'd discovered a hidden gem. The staff was warm, welcoming, and straight to business in the best possible way; clearly focused on the food and the craft. I ordered the $58 Omakase plate and opted to replace the uni with ikura, and it was unforgettable. Each piece was beautifully scored, fresh, and presented like a gallery-worthy piece of edible art. The flavors were clean, the textures were perfect, and everything felt curated with intention. This is craftsmanship you don't come across often. Even the packaging stopped me in my tracks. My order came in a sleek, elegant box tied with a ribbon, the kind of presentation that makes you pause before opening it. Not flashy, just refined...the kind of detail that tells you they care about the entire experience from start to finish. This place is pure quality. Fresh fish, flawless presentation, immaculate vibe. Worth every penny and absolutely my new Boston obsession. Phenomenal in every way.

Finally gave this place a try earlier this week! Picked up a $25 omakase chirashi box and a couple of maki rolls ($12 for a negi tuna toro roll, and $7 for a spicy salmon roll). The fish here surprisingly tasted VERY fresh and clean. I was honestly quite impressed by the quality of the fish, especially their tuna, scallop, and raw shrimp at this price point. The only downside was that they didn't provide any real wasabi, which would've elevated the fish even more. Already looking forward to coming back here :)

Delicious and aesthetic sushi takeout spot! The sashimi was thick and fresh. The sushi rice was great too! The boxes that it came in were very pretty too! It was a great choice for picnic food at the commons! It's just a grab and go spot, but the service was quick and efficient!

I got both the small chirashi and the eel bowl and was quite surprised with the quality that we received. While the portions were not overly filling, the fish was delicious and very fresh. The workers were pretty friendly and the pick up process was very painless. They provided small dishes for soy sauce along with packets of soy sauce. The bags also included chopsticks. Overall, I would get take out there again. I would not prioritize eating there since the seating area is quite small and the shop is not too big.

I absolutely love Jiro's Sushi. I believe it's run by just one couple, and they are so kind and welcoming. You can really feel the care they put into everything. I was able to walk in to order, but I think they've switched to online orders now since it's gotten so busy. The space is also relatively small with just a couple seats. I got the mini omakase box and the chirashi box. Both were such good value for the quality. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and beautifully prepared. I also really appreciate that it's a small business. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I'll definitely be back.

Small store with limited counter seating - ideal for takeout. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious! I ordered the chef's sashimi box, which I thought was a great way to sample a little bit of everything. Everything tasted fresh. I usually can't finish sushi rice, but this sushi rice was moist and prefectly seasoned. I'll definitely be back!

    Sushi Appetizer

A hidden gem sushi spot that delivers in terms of value and quality! I got the Sushi Appetizer ($12) which came with 4 nigiri of the chef's choice. It was packaged beautifully in a bamboo box with freshly prepared wasabi and pickled ginger. I appreciated that they packed low sodium shoyu in addition to the regular shoyu. It was a small but thoughtful addition. As for the taste, I was blown away by how thick and buttery the fish was. I felt like I was transported to Japan with every bite as the fish melted in my mouth! I would definitely come back to try their other items. Overall, I would highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for quality sushi at an affordable price. This is definitely more of a takeout spot with only 3 counter seats by the window and a few stools on the side. Also, keep in mind that they only offer the combos from Monday to Friday.

This is definitely as premium as sushi delivery can get. The packaging was so well done and held up really well to the travel. The chirashi was such a great value too. The fish was really fresh and the portion size was really great. If you're looking to treat yourself to a sushi night in, I definitely recommend Jiro's! Sure you'll spend a little more than your typical delivery but this was great.

Tiny interior but a flavor bomb! The Double Salmon Special Roll had a nice crunch from the tempura bits and a good portion of fish. The Unagi Nigiri was delicious with its heated eel and sweet sauce. The Combos are only offered M-F unfortunately. You can walk-in and order

    Tuna Flight
    Lizzie Y.

I was super excited to try Jiro's Sushi for a quick lunch but found it to be overhyped and I didn't feel satisfied at the end of the meal. It's a pretty small spot, with limited seating. From what I remember there was only a few high top stool seats by the window (which were occupied when we arrived), so we ended up pulling out two chairs and sat by the cash register counter lol. We ordered two sets: one rainbow flight & one tuna flight. The tuna flight included 5 tuna nigiri + 5 piece spicy tuna maki roll & the rainbow flight included 2 tuna, 2 salmon, & 2 hamachi nigiri + 5 piece rainbow roll. The two staff members working that day (perhaps also the owners?) were super quiet & didn't speak to us at all throughout our meal + only responded with "okay" when taking down our order. Took ~10 min to prepare our order. It got packed pretty fast as we came slightly before the lunch rush. I've read many reviews before coming here & a bunch have stated that this is a great place to come for the price. I personally did not feel like the price was anything too special for the quantity? For example, there is a place I like to go for quick sushi lunch (that's close to here) & they offer 18 pieces of sushi, 3 rolls of choice, w/ a soup + salad for the same price as one of the flights (~$17-19). The rolls here are also quite small (5 pieces & thinly sliced) AND plain but I'll admit, I did appreciate that they didn't include too much rice. Overall, I did not get the hype. Perhaps I'm ordering the wrong things? Either way, thought this place was worth checking out because the prices were said to be pretty affordable but I personally don't think this was true. Prices are average + just about the same as w/ other surrounding sushi spots in the area. Lol, I would say my favorite part about my visit here was probably the parody painting of "the Scream" w/ a hamster & painting of an extremely muscular Mona Lisa. Parking: simply atrocious trying to find parking in this area b/c Chinatown is crowded at all hours of the day.

    Salmon Ikura Chirashi Box ($22)
    Wendi K.

I ordered delivery from here. Your food comes quickly and carefully packed in beautiful bamboo boxes. If you don't order from DD or UberEats (which inflate prices), the prices are actually very reasonable for what you get :) The salmon Chirashi Box ($22) and Unagi Avocado Roll ($8) were fresh and delicious. The Ikura on the salmon is delightfully salty. So glad this wonderful place exist to create edible art for us :)

I had the romanesco, edamame, mirashi sushi, and hamachi sashimi. All of them were wonderful, but the romanesco was the highlight for sure. Stephanie was my server and was an absolute delight. Highly recommend and would definitely come here again if I'm ever back in the area!

There are meals you remember because they taste good, and then there are experiences that change…read morethe way you think about food. Three 1 One Omakase was one of those experiences. It introduced me to new textures, flavors, aromas, and, most importantly, a deeper appreciation for the culture behind the food. From the moment we arrived, Chef Wei, his wife Carrie, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere felt intimate, as though we had been invited into someone's home rather than a restaurant. Every detail felt intentional, from the minimalist design and calming ambiance to the subtle aromas throughout the space. Learning that Three 1 One was originally a one-bedroom apartment made the experience even more meaningful. The evening reminded me of a trip to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, where local islanders welcomed my fiancé and eight friends into their home to share a meal prepared from that day's catch. Coincidentally, there were ten guests gathered around the counter at Three 1 One, just as there had been ten of us in Vietnam. In both places, strangers came together over exceptional food and genuine hospitality. That feeling stayed with me throughout the evening. My fiancé and I celebrated our 11th anniversary here as we began exploring Michelin-starred restaurants together. After traveling throughout North and South Vietnam, where his family is from, we returned with a renewed appreciation for food and the stories it tells. We were excited to discover such a thoughtful Michelin-starred restaurant so close to home. The 19-course omakase felt like a journey. The opening truffle sea bream with mizuna and sudachi sauce awakened the palate with bright citrus and earthy richness. The Kegani Hokkaido hairy crab with dashi jelly and tomato dashi mousse became my fiancé's favorite. Once mixed together, it was creamy, savory, delicate, and refreshing. His reaction said it all: "Wow." The tako (octopus) with house-made sweet soy sauce highlighted the natural flavor of the seafood beautifully, while the Tokobushi somen with abalone, wheat noodles, yam, okra, and cold dashi became one of my favorite courses. It was refined yet bold, layered with umami, and unexpectedly reminded me of the haenyeo women of Jeju Island, whose tradition of free-diving for seafood gave me an even greater appreciation for the ingredients. Another standout was the Amadai Uroko Yaki (crispy-scale tilefish). The contrast between the crisp scales and tender fish created a texture I'd never experienced before. Along with the abalone course, it was one of the highlights of the evening. The Aji horse mackerel with ginger, chives, sesame, and nori provided a refreshing transition before the sushi. The sushi alone deserves its own review. Every piece reflected remarkable craftsmanship and precision. Watching Chef Wei prepare each bite was part of the experience itself. The rice was beautifully seasoned, and every ingredient felt balanced. My favorite piece was the uni (sea urchin). It was incredibly smooth, rich, and almost buttery. My second favorite was the Hokkaido hotate (scallop), with its delicate smokiness, sweetness, and juicy texture that left me wanting another bite immediately. We also tried selections from the additional menu, along with a pear-toned sake that paired beautifully with the meal. More than anything, what stayed with me wasn't just the food, but the feeling of the evening. It was an experience built around craftsmanship, hospitality, culture, and sharing a meal with others. Thank you to Chef Wei, Carrie, and the entire team for making our 11th anniversary unforgettable and for giving us such a memorable first Michelin-star dining experience. We look forward to returning.
