Food was great. We had spicy chicken and tonkotsu ramen. Both were extremely tasty. Salmon tacos were okay; but the shrimp tempura was excellent. The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars, was the service. Our waiter completely ignored us, even though the restaurant was as not very busy. We had the ask other waitresses for assistance. We will definitely come again, and hopefully have better service. read more

Great place, love the ambiance! Amazing food, beautiful people there! I definitely recommend this location, the one on FM 1960, and the one in the heights. They all are great experiences! read more

It just a regular Ramen taste ,but decorate is pretty .It seem like quality too less ,we had to pay more for additional noodle ,it a expensive Ramen restaurant. read more

Hello. Was in the mood for noodles because it is cold in these winter months (doctor says I need to keep my blood pressure). I got Toncatsu Remen and Cheryl got chicken rimen. Both good. Waiter asked if I wanted mild, spicy, or hot. I sayd "hot" and it was . The chicken ramun is a great alternative to the pork rimun, if you are Kosher. Overall 5 stars, best Raymond to eat in North Houston. read more

The best ramen bar in all of North Houston. I can't speak for the service for dinning in, but from the looks it's as good as pick up. Once a week we place pick up orders and they are always on point. Flavorful, fresh, warm, are a few words I can use to describe the quality of their food... The service is always great and quick...Usually it's about a ten minute order. The inside look very clean and the staff is very friendly. Jinya has quickly moved up to be one of my favorite place to enjoy a perfect dinner. Prices range from $13-20 read more

Service and food were both outstanding. Lots of variety in Ramen combinations. They do a very busy lunch - so be patient!!!

This was my first time eating at this location, and I must say I'm not impressed. I had the spicy meatballs ramen; the meatballs is bland! Just a lump of baked ground beef. For appetizers we had shrimp balls and gyoza. We couldn't taste the shrimp in that balls. Gyoza was meh. And oh, the music is entirely too dang loud!!!!! I think the drive to either Midtown or NASA Road is worth the flavor and ambiance. read more

Anytime I go to Jinya is a good time! Came on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed. My friend and I were told the wait for a table would be about 45 min but it took 20 minutes! Staff was friendly and the food came out quick! I got to bao and shrimp wonton ramen. Was able to slurp down all the down and drink all my broth without feeling too full! read more

Not the best Ramen you can get. The broth was not hot enough and the portion was on the small side for the price. Sure you can add more noodles for $2 bucks but why should you need to right at the get go?! There are far better Ramen choices in the area. Service was also very slow and not friendly. read more

This was my second time at JINYA, and I will definitely be back! I ordered small the Pork Chashu Bowl (minus the egg) and it was so good! It's a perfect size for lunch and the combination of flavors and textures was spot on! This is the same dish I've ordered on both visits. I'd like to step out and try something new, but am afraid I'd wish I'd ordered the Pork Chashu! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. Keep up the good work (and food)! read more

Was visiting and was craving ramen and this place hit a grand slam had spicy bowl with garlic and egg. It was so good I had it gone fast.

Love this place! The food, the service, the ambiance! Great place for solo meals, date night, or a meal with your family!

I really love Jinya. I wish they had the option to build a bowl. I love the Spicy Ramen but I don't like everything in it but if you try to swap things out it ends up costing so much more. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! New to Texas and it was a cold rainy day and my friend and I decided to look for a soup place. So of course we went to Yelp for recommendations. You did not fail us Yelp reviewers! I had the chicken ramen, my girlfriend had the won ton chicken soup. We had edamame as well. EVERYTHING was amazing!!! Go. Eat. Enjoy!! read more

Jinya never disappoints. Despite being a chain, the quality of the food is solid and consistent between franchises. The atmosphere is great and the Ramen is awesome. read more

Second time here and still disappointed. The music is almost too loud to have a conversation and the soda tastes like dirt tap water so bad- it is almost undrinkable. Food is pricey read more

Really friendly service, and I wish I had gotten our server's name when we went earlier this month. He was so accommodating of our party including a baby, to-go orders, etc. Really top notch. The food is comparable to the downtown location. Maybe I'm just ordering wrong, but I feel like sometimes the flavor isn't as punchy as I'd like. The portions are definitely huge though so bring your appetite. I never leave here hungry! With a group, appetizers are also fun. Overall, glad this has opened up near the Woodlands area. Another good option. read more

Just good ramen. Sometimes I want to pig out, and the prices aren't conducive to that, but what you get is great quality

Fantastic ramen and great atmosphere. The staff are all very attentive and they know the menu well. I've only been here once, and I usually don't take off stars for places I've only been once. However, for Jinya I unfortunately will due to the seating situation. The tables are communal and pretty uncomfortable. Although I respect the choice to do this, it makes it difficult to come here with a party of more than two. Not great for larger parties or families. Will update my review after we've been here a few times! read more

This is probably our most frequented spot. Lots of great ramen options as well as appetizers and sides. Staff is always super friendly and urgent with requests. So good!!! I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen - Hot. The hot isn't that spicy. I ordered additional noodles. We had the Pork Gyoza as an appetizer, and they were very good. This is a brand new location, and it's very clean on the inside. read more

Delicious! The Jinya Buns are a must starter. The Jinya Chicken Ramen is very good. If you like a kick, the Spicy Chicken Ramen is excellent too. The atmosphere is nicely done, if you don't mind sharing a table with others. I wasn't a fan of the Panna Cotta for dessert. I wouldn't order it again. It was very bland and the texture was not appealing. Otherwise, a great place to go! read more

This was my first time having a bowl of Ramen and Brussel sprouts. It was very tasty and full of flavor. We ordered our food and received our food within 10 minutes, The server was very helpful due to the fact that I have never eaten at the restaurant before she made a very good suggestion. I will definitely go back. read more

Cozy, but no space to wait on your table. If you can't fit at the door then you are blocking servers or in peoples' eating space. We purchased drinks. Cherry blossom is best bang for buck at $9 and it's enough to sip on entire meal; basically tastes like marchino cherry juice with soda. My drink was the Pink Samuri Martini at $10 but only two sips worth :( and very sweet rimmed w sugar. Son's Saki was just a shot w no ice, no cool look to it. We sent it back and had bartender change it into a mixed drink. Just know its expensive for 2 sips. Our server was good. He recommended a Ramen bowl with upcharge of .99cents to get an egg added to the pork w spicy Ramen vs. ordering it as a bowl with those items which would cost $2.99 more. I appreciated that. The food was very good. I felt happy. Drinks were not worth it. Also downtown Houston Jinya restaurant which I've visited had better ambiance. When spending $100 on a meal, you want an experience. The spring location doesn't have it due to cramped size. read more

A really spacious and clean ramen bar. Awesome selections to choose from on the menu. We got the tempura brussel sprouts, pork tacos, glazed cauliflower to start. They tasted great, portions were a little smaller. The ramen was awesome, we got the chicken wonton, tonkatsu black, and this special ramen they had with pretty good sized cuts of brisket. The noodles and toppings were just right! The brisket tasted awesome - would have been good if it was a little less over cooked but overall it was a fantastic dinner for our group. Would definitely come back and try more! read more

I'm a big fan of ramen, and I've tried a lot of different places in my city. But Jinya is by far my favorite. The spicy chicken ramen is absolutely to die for. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the chicken is perfectly cooked. The spice level is just right, too. It's not too hot that it's overwhelming, but it's definitely got a kick. The service was fast and the ambiance was delightful. read more

Jinya Ramen Bar is the best! The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu, the atmosphere is extremely relaxing, and the food is incredible. It's in close proximity to my home-- so I have made multiple dinner-visits here, since they opened up months ago. Togo orders are prepared very fast and efficiently, and dining-in is a great option to make the most of the atmosphere as well... They have exceptional managers, that do they're best to ensure all guests are satisfied. Jennifer is one of the most exuberant waitresses I have had, especially when it comes to food recommendations. This is definitely one of my top places in Springwoods Village, and I plan to refer all my friends.
