I was in a hurry running errands in the area and popped into this Jiffy Lube for my first time. I was immediately greeted by Madeline as I parked in line. Within a couple minutes, Jesse came over to review all the options and costs available to me and he helped me set up my local account. Nice that he had a mobile tablet ,we were able to do everything right there in the parking lot. The check-in took only 5 minutes. Jesse was extremely helpful. I'm not sure if he is the manager, but he should be. I could see the other employees look to him for direction. I'm not sure who actually did the oil change because I went for a walk. Overall, this is the best experience I've had at any Jiffy Lube. Great customer service and my oil change plus 2 filters was completed in about 30 minutes. BEWARE!!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION...I came into this place last year in November for a complete fluid exchange on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with 83,000 miles. I did the Transmission, rear differential, front differential, trans case, radiator, and new brakes. A total mistake and possibly an expensive one. I was warned about trusting Jiffy Lube for what I was doing to my truck but I was in a hurry and thought I could trust them. To begin with this nightmare I was driving home from servicing my truck I noticed that my truck was stalling when I came to a stop. It also acted weird. Come to find out the technician didn't even fill properly, it was low by almost 4 quarts of trans oil. The torque converter was acting up. The next day I had to go to the Tracy Jiffy Lube where I live because of the concern of it damaging my transmission, they verified that there was no fluid that registered on the stick. The manager over at that store also told me it was unacceptable and wrote me a receipt with what occurred and how low the transmission oil was. He also told me a lot of what goes on at Jiffy Lube and what he thought about that particular Jiffy Lube. With everything going on I also checked the engine oil a couple days after the transmission being low because like I said I was concerned with other fluids being low. I found out it was also low by one quart. Now 5,000 miles later I have found out that the rear differential was under filled also by over a half of a quart. I found this out because when driving home from Lake Tahoe my ABS and Brake light came on. When I took my truck in to run a OBD scan for codes it said bad ABS and Brake sensor in the rear. When they inspected my truck they checked the rear differential and verified it was also under filled. The mechanic could not even get the fluid to register on his finger and my truck was on an incline. The ABS Sensor also had flake on the magnet so they told me to contact Jiffy Lube so I called and spoke to a lady named Michele in corporate and was given the run around. She talked over me and said she was going to go by what her technician wrote in his notes. Keep in mind they already verified the transmission was under filled and acknowledged they made a big mistake. People stay away from Jiffy Lube Period, with the evidence of under filled services your at risk of car damage. I am currently in the process of filling a complaint with the State Bureau Of Automotive Repair and also consulting with an Attorney so that way Jiffy Lube is held accountable for improperly servicing my vehicle. They also write false information on their paperwork stating they verify all services are filled to proper level when they are actually not. What is printed on the paperwork they give you is generic pre typed information. Their technician's are inexperienced and under paid and they play around in the service bays. I watched the guys flirting with the one girl technician that was there. They also do not actually do the service or properly do it at all because the person assigned to my truck was pulled away to help with other vehicles and lost track to where he was at. I asked the mechanic why he was jumping around to different services I paid for and he looked confused. I can tell you from what I seen they are under trained and inexperienced.. lesson learned but they will pay for their incompetence. People again do not trust Jiffy Lube for major service let alone a simple oil change. If they can't do a simple transmission drop and refill then they can not be trusted for other things. Every time I've come here the staff is very friendly, they always make sure that I've been seen/noticed. And the facility is always clean with plenty of natural light in the waiting area (some other oil change shops feel like dark, dank, prisons). On my latest visit even though I had a coupon, one of the guys let us know there was a better coupon online and how to get it. Cost of oil changes have gone up, but so has everything else. Fanciest Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. I found myself passing through town and my SUV demanding an oil change. I found the nearest location off of Yelp and called to make sure they weren't too busy. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff that had a vocal enthusiastic greeting that reminded me of a certain sushi restaurant chain in Sacramento. My service rep was more than thorough and even offered to go over all the recommended maintenance from my manufacturer. Check-in offer of $10 off was an added bonus. I am writing this review using their free wifi and complimentary mobile device charging station. Brilliant services that my dealership doesn't even offer. I just ended up driving off. I was assured I would be seen after the manger took care of a ring up. But 2 ring ups later and 20 minutes flirting is just unprofessional. Visited Jiffy Lube for an Oil change and tire rotation. Also requested that they check my battery as my car has been starting weird. Gentleman stated that my battery was 100% less than 10 days ago, when I asked that they check again he blew me off like I didn't know what I was talking about. After none of my lights were left on, I was stuck with a car that wouldn't start at the doctors office after being inside for 10-15 minutes with my 2 year old son this morning. THANK GOODNESS for AAA who also said my battery was old and basically a ticking time bomb. My husband and I will not be returning to Jiffy Lube again. The manager let me know it would be about 45 mins for a tire rotation and an oil change from start to finished which I thought was honest, and that was exactly how much time it took. The head man that is supposed to be in charge Carlos was very rude and unprofessional. How he talks to people that come to get services at jiffy Lube is unreal. I would not recommend coming here. My son had his oil changed at Jiffy Lube in San Diego... Upon arriving home in Turlock we noticed oil on the ground and all over the engine compartment. I called the local Jiffy Lube in Turlock. They said to bring it in so they can assess the situation. Carlos and his team found that the oil filter was loose which caused the oil to leak out all over the engine and under the car. They tightened the oil filter and topped off the oil. Even though it was not their fault they made things right. They also cleaned the engine to get all the oil off. I am really pleased to see a new Jiffy Lube in town, close to Costco. The employees are really thorough and friendly. We got an oil change here today and they made sure to do a quick and fast job. In the waiting area there is comfy chairs, magazines, television and a charging station for your phone! There is coffee and water that you can get too. There was an employee who came to go over what they were gonna do. The place is brand new and clean. If you come here make sure to check online for some coupons.
