Went to this place to get basic oil change & they asked me what oil. Since I didn't know they checked my previous jobs & then quoted me approx. $61. So decided I would look around as I thought sounded little high. I then went down road & thought I'd ck 4 coupon. I actually saw one so returned & asked if they honored coupon to which they said yes & then said for my car would be $89 - $20 now $69. I said I was just told less than 15 mins ago it would be $61. So person then says no that's not right what oil I told them it was synthetic 5/30 synthetic. Then he said that was wrong I said all I know is your tech told me that based on my previous oil change which thos giv didn't even check. Update: the first time I went in I asked for a dim headlight to be replaced. I was assured this was normal and I was good to go. A couple weeks later I noticed it was out, so I went back and asked for it to be replaced. I was told it was just a loose connection and I was good to do (still very dim). A few hours later i was pulled over for the light being out. I went in the next day for the third time for the same light! It was finally replaced, but the manager had a very nonchalant attitude regarding my experience. His explanation was that they don't want to charge people for unnecessary work. Seriously?! This place is amazing! The men here are super friendly and super welcoming. They are very polite and show you around the place to the waiting room. They have a Keurig coffee maker, bottled water, & a charging station for mobile devices! So here's the thing I have 2017 chevey Malibu that I wanted to get a coolant flush done at jiffy lube. I called the place prior to coming all the way from Modesto and when I was spoken to by CARLOS, he asked me if the car was overheating or what was the reason for getting the flush done. I responded my car is not overheating and I needed a coolant flush, so when I got there he took the car in and I was told the service would be complete in about a half hour so I left and got a call about 15 minutes after I was told that the fluid in the coolant reservoir did not look like coolant and that possibly it was contaminated with something else and if I was aware of it. I told Carlos yes I'm aware of it because I made a mistake and added less than half a quart of automatic transmission fluid and he said well by you keeping this a secret from me he was going to decline the service. He also stated that if I would of told him in the beginning that he would of done it but because I wanted to keep it a "secret " which he kept accusing me of he wasn't going to do the service. It's one thing to be misinformed and it's one thing to accuse your customers and treat them with unprofessional service. I asked for their basic oil change and that was all I needed. First they tried to upsell me to the "high mileage oil" because my truck had over 200,000 mile. Carlos L. knows how to take care of his customers. I called ahead to inquire about services and he was very informative and assuring that I would be in good hands. Upon arrival I was greeted and welcomed by him and his team. Super hospitable and given coffee and a nice spot to see my work get done. They used the oil and filters that I brought and chose and even went above and beyond to do a several point inspection to ensure my car is maintained well, including fluids that weren't even oil just to make sure if I needed anything. I wasn't pressured into any services. I was given a list of feedback from their inspection, a new drain plug and reassured about the bonus services that I could receive if i choose their oil. I know exactly when to come back thanks to the mileage written down for me. It's not often you get celebrity treatment at shops. My car was literally done in a 'jiffy". The last place i took it to messed up my drain plug and Jiffy stepped in to replace it with a new one free of charge because that's their standard, they ACTUALLY care about their customers.This place lives up to it's name and I will be back! Be careful with this place. My husband went to get his oil change here and he got his registration tags stolen from the glove compartment. He had just got them not even five minutes before he got there to change his oil. When he went to put the papers from the oil change in the glove compartment, he seen all the papers were messed up so he checked and his stickers were missing, so be really careful what you leave in your car before an oil change in this place. read more

Took My 2016 pick up in for oil chance, about 2 months later engine light came on. I took it immediately to the dealer. After checking pick up the dealer informed me my pick up either had the wrong oil put in or the oil had not been changed. it cost $400 to rectify problem. I notified Jiffy Lube. Very disappointed that when I arrived there to top off my oil after a long ride, I was given an estimated wait time of 25 min because"there is one car ahead of you!" Four men working on one car. I recently moved to Turlock and I thought that I would support the local businesses. I went to Jiffy Lube back in early July to get an oil change. Place was very clean and the staff was very friendly BUT a few days after my car was serviced the bottom panel came loose. I work in the Bay Area and when I called them about they said I could go to any oil change place and that they could pop a few pins in that should take care of it. So I go to a service center in Livermore only to find out that the bottom panel is shredded. Long story short, I bring the car back to Turlock and get the car inspected. Carlos, the assistant manager, didn't want to accept the blame, but he agreed to replace the part. I came back about two weeks later and the part had not even been ordered yet. So I actually gave them a couple more weeks to get the part in. 6 weeks later, I placed another call to Jiffy Lube, Carlos was not in, but the gentlemen that I talked to was very polite and he told me that the store manager would call me personally the next morning. That was over two months ago. I usually don't write reviews, but if you are a business and you promise to fix your work and then you don't, then we have a problem.
