Great service here today. They had everything I needed. We're able to change oils, filters and took great care of my car. Kate was a wonderful person to work with. She was very friendly and professional. Jordan & Zach we're great too!

I wouldn't have taken my car in here, or even thought about it if my husband hadn't told me to. The engine in his car had started to overheat the last couple days while he was working. That's a big problem. Which he left me to deal with. Happy day. So I called to find out how much a coolant flush would cost me and if I could make an appointment. $75 and no appointments. First come, first serve. I showed up around 4, and they were busy! They get to my car, tech comes in to say I didn't need a coolant flush, it was just incredibly low. I thought we had put enough in, because it seemed like an entire bottle, plus copious amounts of water. They did recommend a fuel filter and injectors be replaced. Which wasn't more than the coolant flush, so still within budget. I had them do that and replace the windshield wipers as well. They started the car again, and it overheated, causing coolant to explode everywhere, blew the radiator cap off, everything. They let it cool down, which felt like forever, and told me the thermostat was bad. I had suspected this prior to this, so it didn't surprise me. I asked if I needed it towed or I could drive it. I only needed to go about 2-3 miles. They said they would make it drivable. Awesome. I went out to visit with the tech working on it. He showed me the thermostat he had taken apart and how it had totally seized up. He explained things to me, answered questions, etc. I made the offhand comment of, if someone would go get the part, we could do it right here since you've got it all apart already. He was thinking the same thing. Now, this is after 6, and the business is closed. These guys had every right in the world to kick me out and say have a great day and be done. They are on their own free time doing this. He gets the second tech to go get it, and I give him money. In the meantime while waiting, the first tech cleans my headlight covers, puts my new registration tags on the car (I've forgotten for like a month, but they were in the car), fixes the trunk latch, so I don't have to hold it up every time we open it. All little things that came up in discussion that he just took care of, without being asked. All I really wanted was the thermostat done. But he saw a need and fixed it. Both work on the thermostat, and we get it in and done. Car still overheats. Shit! So find out the fans aren't kicking in. Putter with that, and figure out why. Two relays were bad. Switch those out for good ones. Runs perfect now! All I have to do is replace the two bad relays. Which isn't a huge deal, and I'll be doing that this afternoon. I told both of these guys that by taking over 2 hours out of their evening, off the clock, they've insured I can send my husband to work with full confidence the car will work and I don't have to worry about him. Neither of them really wanted to be paid, which I'm not a fan of anyone working for free. These guys just did it because it was helpful to me and it was the right thing to do. I don't know much about the Jiffy Lube company or how they typically treat customers, but these guys were amazing. I was so impressed by how far above and beyond they went, while on their own time. I would definitely return here, because they were upfront and honest, telling me the work I had asked for wasn't needed, but other items that were. Price was discussed before work was done. They asked customers if they were ok with whatever price, no surprises. They are cheaper than most places. The coolant flush was $75, my normal mechanic charges $150 for that. I was impressed.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They didn't latch my hood and i got on the freeway and my hood flew up and smashed my windshield. After calling them and getting my car towed to a mechanic, the jiffy lube boss told me they were going to take care of it. So i got a car rental. After 5 days of me thinking it was being worked on i called to be informed that jiffy lube said it wasn't their fault and they weren't paying for the damages. No one told me my car wasn't being paid for/worked on. I've asked multiple times to have the owner get ahold of me. It's been 2 weeks and still no call. So I've had to pay out of pocket for their mistake. And to top it off, my check engine light is now on and it was not before i took it to jiffy lube.

They are especially friendly as they scam you into buying an unneeded transmission oil change.

I have been getting my oil changed at the Jiffy Lube on Coburg Road for 4 years now and have always been happy with my service.

Fist, let me point out that although this business does carry a smaller new tire inventory, their…read moreused tire stock is vast! Many good brands with tons of life left in them. I needed tires for my son's Audi Quattro that has large performance wheels and an odd tire size. They had several used options even for this vehicle. I only paid $70 for Bridgestone tires with 10mm of tread left (almost new). They retail for over $200 each. The service was great as well!

Formal complaint regarding unsafe used tires sold and improper diagnosis leading to wasted time and…read moreexpense 1. Summary of the issue On 2 April, my Sister purchased three used tires from Big B Tire shop. (Who sells someone three tires?) The tires provided were, in my view, unreasonably worn and potentially unsafe (each appeared to be below ~50% tread; one showed visible dry cracking; and at least one tire was manufactured in 2020). Immediately after installation, the vehicle developed a pronounced vibration/shaking at speeds above ~60 mph. Despite returning to your shop for rebalancing, the issue persisted. Your staff then advised that a wheel bearing needed replacement; however, an ASE-certified technician later confirmed the wheel bearing was not the cause and identified a warped tire as the likely source of the vibration. 2. Detailed timeline * Purchased/installed three used tires. Total paid: [$225]. * After purchase: Vehicle began shaking/vibrating at speeds above ~60 mph. * [Around 12 April]: Returned to shop for balancing. Issue remained. * [Around 13 April]: Returned again; staff stated the vehicle needed a new wheel bearing. * [14 April]: Wheel bearing was evaluated by an ASE-certified technician reported the bearing was fine and indicated a warped tire was the likely cause. * [15 April]: Returned tires to your shop. Tires were accepted back; however, a \$25 restocking fee was charged. 3. Safety concerns Tires are critical safety components. Selling tires with visible dry cracking, significant wear, or structural defects (e.g., warping) can create serious risks, including loss of control at highway speeds. In addition, the incorrect diagnosis and recommendation to replace a wheel bearing caused avoidable delay, inconvenience, and potential expense. Not to mention, when I was bringing them back after buying new ones there was about an 80 year old widow lady who was having similar issues and who had been there three times in the past week trusting these people to help her. It is very sad that there are companies like this still in operation. If it wasn't for me my sister would have blown $300 on a wheel bearing and prob $400 on labor to change out a good wheel bearing for an already good wheel bearing and still have the problem.
