I have been to other Jiffy Lubes that I would recommend. This is not one of them. I showed up after 4 on a Saturday. The guy working outside the line was on top of it, very friendly, and actually made me kinda happy about having to get an oil change! But alas, I went inside and sat down, and the first thing that happened was the GM came over, reached over my head, sticking his gut in my face, to turn the OPEN sign to CLOSED. *Now* I know that they close at 4, but instead of telling me that they weren't accepting anymore new customers that day and just letting me leave, the GM went outside, screwed the cap off of my oil, brought it inside, fed me a bunch of gobbledegook about how my oil smells like gas. He went on to explain that my car could blow up at any moment and an oil change won't do me any good, etc. and how he just wanted to be "up front" and "honest" about what's wrong. He sent me on my way to a real shop, anxious that my "crank case could have a crack" or how I could have a "gas leak" which he conveyed is fairly dangerous and costly. ALL LIES. I took my car to a real shop (they'll be getting a 5 star review), where they changed my oil, replaced a brake light, and did something with my belts -- all for $26. There was no gas problem with the oil - not even so much as a blown seal that would allow vapor inside. A much better deal AND honest, local, non-chain folks who are more concerned with the safety and health of the car than paying overtime (or whatever was going on with the JL dudes). Lack of integrity here. Won't be going to any more Jiffy Lubes. read more

They are very friendly people, but I just got an oil change and it was completely overfilled. They called me and told me how much oil they would put in based off the car's manual. I don't know the number so I agreed figuring they would know. It's a 2003 Subaru Outback so I figured they've done it a million times before. As I was leaving the guy pulled out the dipstick real quick and showed me I have oil. I thought it was overfilled just looking at it, but he looked at it and said it looked great. After the change I'd get a deep rumble type noise, like my catalytic converter had a hole or something. A week later I went to a mechanic I've used and trusted for a long time for non related issues and they said the oil was terribly overfilled. 1. I should know how much oil my car needs, but so should they. 2. When the dipstick looked overfilled I should have said something, but the guy working should have noticed, or said something about it if he did. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I took my car in to get an oil change (obviously), and as I pulled up I specifically told the technician that I JUST wanted an oil change, and to please not remove the air filters or anything else on the car. I didn't need them to "show me how dirty it was" because I had just bought the car and I knew it was fine. I waited 45 minutes for my oil change, and halfway through they called me to the counter to show me my clean air filter that I'd asked them not to take out, ok whatever. Thanks for listening. I pay and leave. I'm on my way home and my new car's dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree. Check Engine, 4WD Error, Trac Error, and the Oil Change light all turn on. I get home and immediately call them, and the manager tells me that I should bring it back so they can (and I quote) "poke around in the engine and see what happened." Ummm....no. I tell them I'm taking it to my dealership and sending them the bill. I check the engine myself and can't immediately see any issues. I try restarting the car, checking the oil levels, tightening the gas cap, nothing. All the lights are still on. $125 and several hours of my time at a dealership later, it turns out Jiffy Lube spilled oil on DOWN the air intake valve of my new car, and also improperly connected an air hose. The dealership cleaned the valve and reconnected the air hose and I went back to Jiffy Lube to get a refund. The manager at first refused to allow me to have a refund (I later had to contact Corporate and then he changed his mind), and I had to bring the bill back to the location so they could send it out so I'd get refunded. 4 days before Christmas I was out $125 plus the $55 oil change. Eventually, Corporate sent me a check for the dealership bill two weeks later. Good God, what a mess. I am learning how to change my own oil now. I'd rather do it myself or pay twice as much to have it done right at a dealership then ever let these people touch my car again. DON'T GO HERE!!! Save yourself the time and money. Pro's -- they were nice and tried to be helpful. Very customer service oriented Con's-- So... cars these days are mostly electronic (anything that can be under the hood, now is). Result is that most mechanics at these generic places don't know how to work on newer cars. They'll even admit to this... after they f*&@ things up under the hood. I got my oil changed, broke down less than a block from the shop in the middle of the road. While the mechanics tried to work on my car for an hour and a half, they lacked a diagnostic kit and basic tools. End result- they likely put a metal tool down on the battery while the car was switched on that ended up shorting out the start capacitor and frying my coils. It was an $182 repair that left me car-less and stranded for a weekend and there was nothing I could do to prove they did it, unfortunately, even though I had JUST pulled out of the parking lot. The lesson: if you have a nicer, newer car just save yourself the heartache and go somewhere with trained mechanics OR do it yourself... that way you don't monkey something up while doing a "courtesy check." read more

My car desperately needed an oil change over the weekend and, after some pretty terrible service at my last place, I wanted to take my business somewhere new. And since Jiffy Lube was offering a killer Groupon deal (still available through June 2014!), I figured I'd give it a shot. I've been driving past this location for years, so I was happy to support this JL. Rolled in on a Sunday morning around 10, rolled out before 11. Super fast service with everything explained in a professional manner. Sure, they do try to sell you a few extra things (different high quality oils, tire rotation, etc), but that's to be expected. So just know what your vehicle needs and you'll be good to go. Prices are comparable to most places for an oil change, just around $40-45. With the great location (right next to one of my favorite SBX) and great service, I'll certainly be returning here for routine maintenance. read more

I have to say, when it comes to oil changes, I'm a coupon shopper. I ended up going here last week because I had $15 off. When I pulled up (in the rain), they said "Welcome back Mr. Davis!" as soon as I got out of the car. I have been there once and it was 6-9 months ago. Very impressive. I got in the waiting area, started playing Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader on my iPhone - halfway through, they called me and said "you're done." 7 minutes! And this was at 5pm. This Jiffy Lube has a customer for life. Today is 12/5/2013, and Denver has a high of 8 degrees today. Yesterday, I took my car into this jiffy lube, and got $400 worth of services. It had been a while, and my car really needed some loving. However, early this morning on my way to work, the power steering locked up. Fearing that the seal had broken, I attempted to drive the car back to this Jiffy Lube on Leedsdale so they could check it out. My morning started so negative, and it would turn out so much differently. About .5 miles away from the shop, my car dies completely. I call Jiffy Lube, and Jake answers the phone. He hears my predicament, and offers to drive out of the shop, with tools, to assess the issue. He gets there, I'm freezing, and when we look at the engine, my idle wheel bearings have failed. Not a Jiffy Lube problem, not their fault, and for all intents and purposes, they could have left me in the cold. Not Jake. The man is a saint. He not only helps me get a tow, he offers to tow the car back to his shop, orders me a part and gets it delivered, fixes my idle wheel and serpentine belt, and jump starts my car. The damage: $0 We all have stories of dishonest car people. Its a stereotype. Jake couldn't have been the opposite. This wasn't his problem, it wasn't jiffy lube's problem, and he had every right to not want to freeze his butt off in single digit temperatures. He went above and beyond, and I've never had that happen to me anywhere else. Do your research, try to find another jiffy lube in the Denver area with over 3 stars. You won't, and I'm convinced you can't. These guys are the best. If you DON'T go here to get your car taken care of, you're doing yourself a disservice. 10 stars. read more

First time at this particular jiffy lube. I've been to other jiffy lubes. Got my Oil changed and the tires rotated. The manager was great. Very thorough in explaining what was done to my car and letting me know that a new battery is going to be needed soon. After the service was done he also took me to my car to show me that everything under the hood was put back as they found it. It's also great that they do the free top off service if any of your fluids get low for the next 3000 miles. I would've done 5 stars except that it did take over an hour but in fairness, it was the middle of the day on a weekend and the waiting room was full. I will definitely use them again. read more

The JiffyLube on Leetsdale and Holly in Denver has consistently exceptional service and I will always utilize them as long as I have a car here. In addition to having a Groupon and giving me an accurate wait time, they do all the standard things, plus top off all fluids,tires, vacuum the interior, wash my interior windows, keep me posted on internal issues, walk me to my car and show me all my fluids have been filled with caps tights and show me my oil wand as full. Also, apparently I can get my oil topped off between changes at any Jiffy Lube. Oh and they're incredibly kind. Very impressed. read more

Who would have thought that a chain lube shop would inspire a review, but these guys really earned it! Hoping to get a quick overdue oil change on my way between jobs I stopped in at 4:30 on a Monday to find the shop near empty. The manager greeted me by name as I got out of my car. I know it was because he has my car on file in the bowels of his computer, but it was still a nice touch. Service was fast and friendly. Lose one star on three picky merits: (1) no coffee on a cold afternoon, (2) brief scare tactics on how dirty my [basically new] air filter was, and (3) everything felt TOO formal for a shop. This last point is picky, but the whole thing just felt a little too staged. You don't need to get my door for me or do that weird half bow from the waste. If I could give zero stars, I would! I strongly discourage anyone from taking their car here for service (which seems to be owned by Griffin Fast Lube Companies, so you may want to avoid their other locations as well!). In November of 2016, they overfilled the oil in our car, so it began stalling and smoking from the tailpipe. This error could have caused our engine irreparable damage. To make up for their mistake, they offered us our next oil change free. In July, they managed to mess up this oil change as well, incorrectly installing the oil filter. As a result, a ton of oil suddenly leaked onto our garage floor and required an emergency trip to the dealership to fix. Despite my multiple efforts, Jiffy Lube refused to take responsibility for this pattern of sub-standard service. As an aside, each time I've visited or called, there've been "new managers" - presumably brought in to improve the service. Unfortunately, I can't say it's helped! read more

I have never written a Yelp review in my life, however I feel compelled to do so after my experience today. I got my oil changed at this location (Leetsdale-Denver) on 11/27, and a couple days later my oil light came on. I called this location and asked why this happened and they said, the tech must've forgotten to reset the gauge and to come by and they will reset it. I was running errands today and happened to be by another Jiffy Lube in Highlands Ranch (HR) #862 hoping they could remedy the situation. I stood to the side as they opened the hood and noticed everything under the hood was very shiny --then I realized oil had spilled EVERYWHERE. Immediately the HR location said this is bad and that the other Jiffy Lube forgot to put the oil cap back on-- and that they would investigate further. They called Leetsdale and I was told Leetsdale would come by HR and fix their mistake. I waited a while and then spoke to Devon from the Leetsdale location and he said that they have camera footage of a tech at their location putting the cap back on and that its not their fault. Essentially insinuating that I somehow in the past couple days removed my own oil cap and that is why I am in this predicament. Long story long I am still waiting to hear back from Michelle the GM from the Leetsdale location. Highlands Ranch topped me off, called Auto Zone got a replacement part and could not have been nicer. I would really like to have a chat with someone who can tell me what they are going to do to better this situation or at least be decent and follow up with me. 12/5/17 Update: I will note that I was told Saturday 12/2 that they watched the video again and were wrong--they did not put the cap back on after the oil change. I have provided my contact info and still have not heard anything from anyone at Jiffy Lube aside from this comment below yesterday. read more

If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I absolutely would. I came here a few weeks ago to get a oil change. The staff was polite and honest. I did have some other issues with my car I brought to their attention. A man named Sal was able to fix everything on my car very honest hard working guy. Communicated with me every step of the way , was honest about what the problems were. And fixed them all ! I drove off with basically a new car. I am back today to get a couple other things fixed. Again the staff is super nice and hard working. They always make sure my car is in great condition when I leave even if it's the littlest things. I won't take my car anywhere else to get it fixed or maintained. While I was here I seen a customer act completely crazy with Jerry. Everyone handled it professionally while keeping smiles on their faces and maintaining a good energy. These guys are the shit! Working in this heat being fast efficient and even talking about how they all enjoy there jobs says a lot about all of them and you trust bringing your car here a lot more. I would also like to add they were very informative and had no problem educating me on thing they were doing to my car so I had some knowledge on the subject. read more

Since those are the only two things I can actually check to see if they did and they didn't do it makes me wonder what else they didn't do. I wish there were negative stars because I would definitely give them a negative rating. I went to the one on Montview. I waited for over two hours and had other cars that came in after me get serviced before I did. When I asked what was going on, I got a simpleton answer, uhhhhhh we're busy. I was watching them the whole time, did I get any of the complimentary services such as checking my tires, washing my windows etc. NOPE!! Naturally when it came to paying the bill, I was charged at full price. Ask about the complimentary stuff after I paid, the guy was like, well we can do it now. The car is already pulled out of the bay. I've been here for over two hours, do you really think I want to hang out for something that should have already been done.... So I'd advice you NOT to go to the Jiffy Lube. read more

Be prepared to be lied to regarding how long it will be for them to do an oil change. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Then, be prepared to be lied to again only to wait and wait and wait some more - like, over an hour even when your vehicle is already sitting in one of the bays. Why? They use a lot of mechanical jargon to try and make you think your car is going to die right there and if you don't pay hundreds of dollars on junk, they look at you like you're stupid. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for 6+ years. I've been to multiple locations and have always had a quick and pleasant experience. However, my experience at this location has deterred me from ever coming back. I came in around 2pm for a synthetic oil change, and was told the wait would be about 45 minutes. No biggie, that's pretty standard. There were 2 cars in front of me (or at least that's what I was told). I waited for about 1 1/2 hours before I started noticing all of the additional cars that had gone in before mine, that weren't there before. After 2 hours, my car wasn't even in the garage--it was still waiting outside. I commented on the wait time to one of the workers, who's response was "yeah, nobody wanted to get their oil changed before Christmas so here we are." What is that even supposed to mean? I continued to wait. Three others that were waiting in the lobby commented that they had been there for 2 and even 3 hours as well. One guy even checked out after waiting for an hour, and had to come back because they forgot to reattach his skid plate! Once they finally got my car in the garage (2 hours later!) it took them an additional 45 minutes, for what should've been a 20 minute oil change! As I was checking out, I told the worker I'd been there for almost 3 hours, and if I'd known it would be this long I would've came back another day, to which his response was "I just want to go home." Angry, and in disbelief, I stayed quiet and payed. When he took me outside to show me that caps were tight etc, he didn't even show me my oil levels. In addition, I could tell they didn't even check my tire pressure, or take the time to fill it, which is usually included. The customer service here was amongst some of the worst I've experienced. This location needs some workers that care about their jobs and their customers. I'll never waste my money with Jiffy Lube again. read more

After a 3 hour wait I was finally told that they couldn't perform the oil change because "they didn't have the proper tools". So apparently they don't have a socket wrench or an oil pan. I wish there was a zero star option. Nothing the least bit jiffy about this place. Every last one of the employees moves at the pace of a snail and they DNGAF. One of them has been on his cell phone since checking me in 45 minutes ago and my car has still not even been moved into the bay although two spots are open. Update: after my car was moved into the bay they propped open the hood and it sat there for another 20 minutes before anyone touched it. Meanwhile the employees stood around chatting with one another, taking out the trash, etc. As a bonus, the waiting area was disgustingly filthy. NEVER AGAIN read more

The staff is friendly and honest about how long it will take. Expect a 2 - 2.5 hour wait before they work on your car. They can only work on 2 cars at a time. I gave up trying to get a better wait time after the 5th attempt. read more

One word: Incompetent. I will NEVER return to this Jiffy Lube or any other location. They over-filled my oil and within 700 miles and the cold weather arriving, my car broke down. I had to have it towed to Aurora where my dealership is located where there are some technicians who actually know what they're doing. It cost me $86 for the tow, along with another oil change and the cost of the diagnostic. A total bill of over $300. I will be returning to Jiffy Lube only to demand they reimburse me for all the bills I incurred due to their screw up. Do yourself a favor and do not go to Jiffy Lube. read more

I visited the Jiffy Lube located on Leetsdale Ave Denver Colorado December 12 2019 . Although the staff appeared friendly I would recommend you take your vehicle to another quick lube facility . I opted for their signature oil change and lube . When I arrived there wasn't any other vehicles so they were able to get me in right away , which is good . I asked them to please make sure to grease the zerks on the chassis . Once they were finished and had driven the vehicle out of the bay they show you that the caps are on tight and recheck the oil level on the dipstick . I did ask them again if they serviced the zerks and lubed all the other fittings, they said no . They then drove the truck around again to bring it back through the bay so they could perform the lube service . As I got in my vehicle to drive away I noticed they had oil on my leather steering wheel and door handle . I then proceeded to drive to my home about two miles away and as I was parking in the driveway I noticed a burning oil smell and thought maybe they just got a little splatter on the exhaust . I lifted my hood and noticed they had oil all over the exhaust and the top of the frame as it was dripping everywhere including on to my driveway . At this point I was furious and called them to complain . Who ever answered the phone said bring the vehicle back and they would try to clean it off . I'm very busy and really didn't want to deal with them anymore so took my time to go to the car wash and take care of things myself . When you pay for things such as oil changes , I think it's a reasonable assumption that the process would be professional , clean and efficient but this Jiffy lube didn't portray any of these qualities . **UPDATE** Jiffy Lube promptly contacted me once I notified them I had posted this review. Their conclusion: "Based on an investigation and review of the matter, the company has decided to deny the claim at this time. The company has determined they are not at fault for the damage to your vehicle." This is an unacceptable resolution to my claim, for which I will continue to pursue full remuneration. **I will update this post once my claim has been resolved. 4/27/15** Fast negligent service, accusatory and unhelpful customer service, convenient location. I was passing through Denver and got an oil change on my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee in about 30 mins. There is a Starbuck's next door which helped pass the time. When I got back in my car, the maintenance light had not been turned off. The technician reset the light when I asked him to. About a week later I noticed oil spots had begun to appear in my garage, only to notice about one to two weeks later that the oil spill had grown. I live about 2 hours from this Jiffy Lube, so I had my local shop examine to find the source of the oil leak. The oil filter was not properly installed, and I was running 1 quart below what is required. The service shop that examined my vehicle (in Summit County), advised I would not have made it to the Denver Jiffy Lube without blowing out my engine on the mountain ascent. My local shop wrote up a report of their findings so I could contact Jiffy Lube for a refund. I called the main Jiffy Lube customer service line to make a claim. The claim was sent to the franchise owner (GriffCo) for the Denver location. I contacted the local franchise to speed up the process. I was told that I should have brought the vehicle back to the same Jiffy Lube location to have the problem assessed and fixed. I explained this was not possible based on where I live. They asked me to send a copy of the report from my local shop, along with a receipt for the repair. About 30 mins later I received a frantic phone call from someone in the shop that serviced my car who wanted to discuss what had happened. I had to explain again that I couldn't bring my car into their shop without blowing out my engine. The person I was speaking with then went on to accuse me of paying too much ($114) to have my car examined for damage for running on low oil, inspecting for additional leaks, tightening the oil filter, and topping off the oil. My caller said he had to further examine the evidence.. The next caller from Jiffy Lube said he might be able to offer me a partial refund or a coupon for a free oil change at Jiffy Lube! Thanks but not thanks. I told him to save us both some time and find a way to refund me the cost of my original oil change ($55+), as well as the cost of inspecting and repairing my vehicle ($114). I then began receiving emails from an unnamed GriffCo employee from the Customer Service and Claims Department (customer service@griffco.com). The last correspondence I received said "We have forwarded all of you information on to our Vice President of operations. HE will make the final decision on your claim and you will receive a letter in the mail in about 3-5 days with the company's resolution." That was 13 days ago, and I have yet to hear anything, despite emailing and asking for an update. On top of all of this, I explained to all of the customer service reps that I spoke to that my wedding was less than a week away, that I am planning an international move, and that I did not want to spend time dealing with this. Despite my awful experience with Jiffy Lube, I had a lovely wedding and continue to plan my move. Do not expect a single ounce of human compassion from anyone involved with Jiffy Lube Corporation or GriffCo. I AM EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL "SERVICE" I HAVE RECEIVED FROM THIS COMPANY. JIFFY LUBE CORPORATION DOES NOT DO A GOOD ENOUGH JOB VETTING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BRANCHES OF THEIR FRANCHISE OWNERS.
