My wife and I have brought our cars to Midas on Colorado Blvd for about 7 years now. No matter the needed service, this team always does quality work. I have never felt they were recommending services that are not needed, or focused on only making money. The manager, Andrew, is top notch. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he also works to ensure complete satisfaction. He is always friendly and supportive. Overall, this team is professional and thorough. I will continue to bring my family's vehicles to this Midas. read more

My name is Jeff Clark on August 2, 2025. I was going to Midas service and tire to get an updated service estimate after talking with Andrew one of the supervisors. I decided to go ahead with all the work he had worked with me and gave me an awesome discounted price to get the work done before the tariffs affected the car parts and service. After the work was completed, I drove off happy and singing. I stepped on the gas and by changing the spark plugs I had more power. I also had the firing system cleaned out as well as putting new shocks and struts and aligning my four-wheel-drive. I took my hands off the steering wheel For probably 100 yards and it didn't pull to the left/right they had brighten and enlightened my day and my car is running and driving and operating as I just bought a brand new one off the floor at the dealership I would definitely highly refer anyone going in and getting service And tire repair, etc. with Midas any of their mechanical repairs and needs. I rate this company over 10 stars 1010% service with a smile and a turn of the screwdriver and wrench. read more

It's been waaay too long since I've had an oil change. There was an actual countdown happening on my dashboard. But that's neither here nor there. I really like this place. A lot better than other car maintenance places. Love the fact they test drive the car after his to make sure it's working. Price may be kinda pricey, but it's actually worth it. I'll most likely bring my car here moving forward. read more

DON'T GO HERE! My wife and I got taken advantage of on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. My wife is an attorney and once she threatened "legal action," and called them out for their lies, they IMMEDIATELY stopped messing with us. They can deny my "warning to people" all day if they want, but THEY KNOW EXACTLY what they are doing. I worked at a car dealership for 3 years, so I can personally say from my own work experience that this location is scamming people "left and right." SERIOUSLY, it's not financially worth going to this location in the "long-run." It might be "ok" the first couple times to get your business, but then they will create a problem with your vehicle and then try to draw you back in financially. HEED MY WARNING FOR YOUR FUTURE! read more

I've been using Midas for routine oil changes, full car tune ups, and wheel / tire issues for years and regularly leave extremely pleased with the quality of the work, the completion time, the communication and friendliness of the staff, and cost of the work. Time and time again the staff patiently walks me through the service items, various cost options, and how to stay within my budget but keep my car running. I never feel hurried or rushed and I always feel respected. In the nearly 5 years I've been visiting this location, my car has been running great. They have solved issues my dealership couldn't. Absolutely recommend this Midas location. If there isn't parking out front of their building, they do have parking in the alley behind. read more

About 6 months ago I went to a recommend mechanic. They told me I needed new brakes, pads etc. at first I was like ok but then there was this huge list of other "critical" fixes my suv needed first. What!?!? So it got me thinking and I told them I didn't have that kind of money and left. I immediately drove over to Midas! The waiting area was clean and welcoming. I told them my concern about my brakes and they ok no problem let us take a look. In all seriousness I really thought the next time I hit my brakes there gonna fail. A Midas mechanic came back to me 15 mins later and said I still had plenty of coverage on my pads and I would be fine for now. What?!?! As a woman I feel I'm always being taken advantage of with mechanics but on that day I knew there was only one place I would ever take my car again! Fast forward to today. Two people approached me and said my brake light was out. No hesitation I called Midas immediately and made an appointment. Again the waiting room was welcoming and the mechanic was friendly! I was also cognizant that there were 2 other women there besides me! The Midas guy was on it and said he could fix it in the parking lot no less! Done in just a few mins and I was on my way! I love this place! read more

Mike at Midas provided exceptional service. He was quick to take my car in, diagnose the issues, and provide outstanding and quick results. Within the first day, they sent me a text message with all of the images and diagnostic issues, quickly followed up with a phone call, and had the car ready within two days. Mike also gave me a student discount, which was *very* appreciated. Everyone was quick to answer the phone and follow-up. Couldn't recommend it here more. read more

Took my car in to fix a bunch of stuff and I needed a daytime running light fixed (this should take 10 min). They forgot to replace the light. I rolled up to Midas 20 minutes before close frazzled about what to do with a rapidly deflating back tire -- it was 5:30ish, so all the local tire spots were closing, including Midas. Even though the shop was closed up for the day, Aaron still tried his best to help me out and get some air in my tires to at least bring me to my next destination. Once Daniel realized my tire was unsafe to drive even with air, he helped me find my donut located in my trunk and changed my tire for me to make sure I got home safely. It always feels amazing to meet genuine people who have patience and just want to help. I really appreciate Aaron and Daniel helping me out today, and I will most DEFINITELY be back for my oil change and predictable tire needs! Thank you guys!!! read more

Still 5-star service and quality, and I had to add these photos. Scott from Midas came out after work to teach the Automotive Maintenance merit badge to our troop. My tire pressure kept randomly dropping every time it got cold. Sooo, I went in yesterday before the big cold plunge. First off, I don't think I've ever been greeted with such a kind manager or people at the front desk. Literally made me feel comfortable, communicated and was just super nice. Again, super nice, quick service and they fixed the problem and my tire is great! Great staff! Just moved to this area, and I will be back again. read more

I thought they had the tires I wanted, but I got bait and switched. I ended up spending hundreds more because they made me come in instead of just answering my questions on the phone. They could have told me they were out of tires but they didn't. The manager Andrew just wanted a deal. I'm a salesman too and I can spot a sleazy salesperson when I see one. He said he could get it done asap on the last day of the deal and that didn't happen. Lies, deceit, selfishness, and a lack of class are the only services you will receive here.. Go somewhere else. I came to bring my car in for an oil change. The guy who scheduled me on the phone was very nice and I knew exactly what to do when I got there. After my oil change is where things went south. The man working at the front told me I needed to pay 5k for my brakes to be replaced. I didn't think much of this because I had never had breaks replaced before. I told him I would have to figure out my finances and will bring it back. He told me I need to get it done IMMEDIATELY. I was not in a position to drop 5k on the spot. Fast forward 2 weeks I took my car to another mechanic, Big O Tires and they replaced my brakes (all 4) for under 1k. I am not sure if this place was trying to take advantage of me, I am a 25 year old female. But all I know is that I will NEVER be back. Please be careful! read more

FYI ,Anyone getting work done on their vehicle at the midas on Alameda between between Depew and Huron, make sure you double check your prices before paying . I had my oil changed there today, oil change is 39.99 and the guy tried to charge me 51.00. I told him that the oil change was 39.99 why was he charging me 51.00 and he said let me check that. After looking at the computer he then tells me " oh it's 40.98" no explanation of why he was trying to charge me 10.00 dollars more. Don't know if he was trying to over charge on purpose, just letting everyone know that gets work done on their vehicle at this particular midas read more

Service writer was agreeable in addressing my concerns. The issue here is that this shop is comfortable allowing a customer leave with a vehicle this far out of alignment. Scheduled and paid for an alignment. Returned 5 min after check out because the steering wheel was very obviously crooked. They adjusted the car, returned it insuring the issue was fixed. Drove 2miles down the road with my now "straight" steering wheel and the car veers so far right with the wheel straight that I have to over compensate with a quarter turn left. Returned and requested refund; refund given no problem. The mechanic also left grease all over my door and steering wheel. One hour later I took the car to Big O tires for the same service... not even mentioning that I had just left Midas. They return the car with this report, showing the wheels basically pointing in opposite directions from the work at Midas. See pictures for proof. read more

When they changed my oil previously they cranked the oil plug down so hard that I couldn't get it off when I went to do the oil myself. I have a newer foreign car that had an exhaust leak. I'll be rating the car separately with fewer stars. None the less, I took it to Midas. I scheduled a routine oil change and asked if they could just peek at a couple other things (tire light and a metal plate bent out under the car) expecting it to be about an hour. Not only did i never get a call or text (only asking for a review) that my car was done, I then had to go back and have them fix the plate as they ended up not fixing properly on the first visit and had to go back. The metal plate was completely taken out from where it was supposed to be allowing it to catch wind and scrape the ground whilst driving. I had to turn back around and get that fix we snd actually get them to help with the tire light that they seemingly just ignored. My steering wheel was also covered in oil that then got on my hands and everything else. Overall my visit was just shy of 4 hours in a day where I had to work and was just taking a short break to get my oil change. Just really inconvenienced. staff was nice and really willing to help but just really put a huge dent in my day. Not sure if they aren't trained well or just don't give a shit but it was a really shitty experience and I will spend the $20 to go to the dealership next time. read more

Very questionable business practices. Quote for a simple radiator part was $600, decided to buy my own for $200, however they won't warranty the work. Coincidentally came home everything was leaking and they blame it on bad radiator. Coincidence sure, but stuff like this seems to happen a lot more often to auto shops. Ask what they can do and now the radiator is just $280 which if that was the case I didn't need to go buy my own part. Now I out double the amount of labor of $1000. In addition they didn't fasten all the fasteners back and claim they broke while in fact they were just lying on top of the engine block but of course I can only find 1 out of the 10 snaps. Stay away!!! read more

Honest and reliable! The two words you are looking for when choosing a car shop - this is the place. I brought my car in thinking I needed a brake pad and rotor replacement. I am a young female living in Colorado for a couple years now and my father owns a Meineke car care shop in another state so I was ready to call to have him double check any diagnosis or work the technician would say. No need! They did a free brake inspection to tell me that my brakes were at mid life and honestly was no need for any work on my car at this time. Working the front desk was West, he was very kind, quickly got my car in for the inspection, and had me driving my car off the lot the same morning with no bill & much less worry. Wow what a relief to find a reliable & honest car shop, I finally found my go to car shop! read more

Super thankful for this shop today! Late last night I had an issue with some rebar protruding sraight upward out of a cement bumper block in a parking space catching on the protective plastic under the engine block on my sedan. It was enough damage that I couldn't drive more than ~15mph for fear it could cause more damage. I called right after they opened this morning, explained what happened and asked if I could come in right away and have them take a look. He said they had a full schedule but to come on by. I arrived prepared with coffee and books expecting to wait a while - turns out that was totally unnecessary because they took the car in immediately and wrapped eveything up in less than 20 minutes! Big, HUGE thank you to the guys in the shop today!!! read more

This is one of the best shops i have found in the area. I have gone to Midas for a little over a year with great results. I recently had belts replaced and one continued to screech, nothing unusual, sometimes belts need to be adjusted after they have been on for a bit but, you know, that sound...good gawd the sound makes me want to take a power drill to my ear drums. The belt did not quiet down after adjustments and I had no choice but to head off to work and deal with waking my neighbors every morning to sound of my belts screeching out a lovely tune. I brought my car back in, explained what has been going on, explained my utter frustration. They replaced McScreechy Screech-belt and offered to lend me a rental car to get on with my day. read more

Very friendly, expedient service. Helped me when I couldn't get help elsewhere. Will probably be back soon for the tire check.

Where do I begin. I started going to Midas for regular maintenance like oil changes and alignments in the spring of 2020. I told them my car felt like it was pulling to the right so they 'did an alignment' - absolutely nothing changed with my car. I brought it back in and this time they tell me I need my rear rotors replaced, so I paid for new rotors... still doesn't fix the pull. So now they tell me to replace the front rotors. BUT WAIT! Your control arms are conveniently broken after we replaced your rotor... hmmm... and that's going to cost $1600. Keep in mind the ONLY problem my car had was a slight pull to the right. So gullible me I give them the go ahead to fix everything they recommended since I was moving to Florida three weeks later (and driving there). During this last appointment they provided like 6 different services (New control arms, rotors, alignment, windshield wipers, tire rotation, oil change) in less than 2 hours. The amount of red flags is astonishing. When I pick up my car I immediately notice a problem with the car making loud noises after I turn it off - I tell the shop who repeatedly say nothing is wrong. Then I realize they installed windshield wiper blades that were 6" too short for my car, so I had to go back. Then I realized they unplugged my heat, so I had to go back. WTF. So thousands of dollars later I leave Denver. My boyfriend and I are in the car in the middle of Kansas when my car starts violently shaking out of nowhere in the middle of the highway at full speed, in an extremely deadly and dangerous situation. We had to get towed and get a hotel for the night. The next day the car shop In Kansas said we were lucky to be alive and that we should be dead because of the negligence of Midas. The list of things they did wrong is appalling. They had my brake hose wrapped around my brand new rotor they installed which cooked my caliper. There was a hole ripped in my control arms, broken pieces all over, bolts weren't tightened on my brakes. I can't tell you how many times this shop in Kansas told me that this was insane, he'd never seen anything like it, and the tech who did it should be fired. They took photos and documented everything. Flash forward a few days, Midas tries to back pedal ...until they see the photos. The most pathetic excuse for customer service, I have repeatedly had to reach out from my end. Aaron the manager told me he was sorry, he saw the photos, we were right, he still can't believe this happened and he is glad we are okay. He said they were going to review the footage to try and understand what their tech did wrong, that I should collect all of my receipts so they can reimburse me. He said because they were the last ones to touch the vehicle they were liable and they had to make things right with me financially (btw I have witness to all of this). Weeks later here I am calling Aaron who keeps saying he will call me back. No calls, no emails. I don't feel safe driving my car anymore. I'm not even convinced my car needed work to begin with and they just scammed me this entire time to the point of breaking my vehicle and almost killing us. I have been beyond patient allowing them to resolve this, but if they don't settle this soon I will be hiring a lawyer and taking them for more than I would have happily settled for. Absolutely under no circumstances should you take your car here. They are negligent. read more

I recently made an appointment to have my oil changed at the Colo. Blvd/Alameda location. I was helped by a young man named Cody, who was polite, friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and honest - something that is not always the case when a woman has her car serviced. I made an appointment ahead of time, they began the service on time and I was out of there in less than a half an hour! I have had miserable experiences at Big O tires, long wait times, grumpy employees, recommendations for unnecessary work - I will never go there again. Having a positive experience like this was so refreshing, and this will be my new stop for service! My only regret is that it took me this long to discover you. Oh, and hang on to Cody - he's a gem. Thank you, Jennifer L. read more

Totally unprofessional and poor customer service - and that's me being nice! I went in at 4pm with 2 hours left until close with a very flat tire and needing an oil change (tire was the most concerning). The gentleman at the counter asked "how can I help you?" and when I told him I desperately needed someone to look at my tire because it was so flat he said "well, sorry we can't help you actually. We are totally booked until close today and I had 2 guys call out sick". The guy completely missed that this was pretty much the last stop before an auto emergency and send me on my way. Thanks for literally nothing, dude. Never going to shop here again! read more

I am very disappointed. On two previous occasions, I received good service here for oil changes. I recently took my car in to determine why the "check engine" light came on. The fella at the counter did not inform me there was a charge for diagnosing the problem. They used the standard Scan Tool to read the internal computer and code P0128 Thermostat Rationality came up. This took all of 10-15 minutes to "diagnose," requiring zero effort, knowledge, or skill of the mechanic. The counter guy then informed me the thermostat needed to be removed and replaced with new housing, the cool system fluid exchanged (7.0 quarts), a cooling system flush and refill of antifreeze...all based on this Scan. They did not look for coolant leaks or damage to the parts. The total quote...$787.00! When I told him I was an unemployed graduate student and needed to do my due diligence to seek a second opinion and estimate, he informed me he would take of the diagnostic fee of $131.00! Again, it took 10-15 minutes to hook up the Scan Tool and get a reading, which required no skilled effort or expertise! Still, $656 was a shocker and I wanted to get a second opinion and estimate. He then said I he couldn't give me my car back unless I paid the $131 diagnostic fee...a fee he DID NOT inform me upfront was required regardless of the result. Incensed and unwilling to debate their audacity and pillaging, I paid the $131 and took it to a privately owned shop where their diagnosis was (and always is) FREE, and they provided me with an estimate of $415 for repairing/replacing the exact same parts and fluids. With so many people out of work and adversely affected by COVID-19, you would think service businesses would be trying to KEEP their customers and SUPPORT their community not take advantage and overcharge them. I will NEVER go back to a Midas shop again. No doubt Midas is owned and operated by Trumpsters. read more

These guys were great. I found out that my car had little to no pad left on the fronts at a competitor that would not replace the pads without replacing the slotted rotor. I then opted to buy after market pads. I called Midas a little more than an hour before close and explained the situation. They cordially told me to stop on by. I was in a pinch and they came through to replace the pads last minute. I highly recommend this reputable shop for brakes and any other needed auto services as well. read more

I went into Midas for shocks and struts and was quoted $900. As the day went on they called and said they needed to also fix my tire rod and that the total would now be $2000. I mentioned that was too high of a price for me to pay at this time and they suggested that I apply for their credit card. I did just that. They charged me 96% interest and performed services that I did not authorize which made the total close to $4000. I would warn anyone thinking about taking their car to Midas not too!!! They are predatory! read more
