So I went to Auto & Tire Works to have new Michelin tires put on my Explorer Sport. Well the noise was still there, so I was wrong it wasn't the tires but a wheel bearing. Last week I went back and asked to have one of their mechanics go for a ride with me to see if the noise was a wheel bearing. I though it was coming from the front left, the mechanic Rich said "no, its left rear." This morning I arrived at 8am and these guys went to wok on my Explorer right away, pinpointing the problem as being a bad left rear wheel bearing. After a few hours I'm back on the road with no noise, a new wheel bearing, and new tires. Best of all Ayhan and his team charged me a very fair price for the work done and a very fair price for the Michelin tires. Great shop that I will go back to next time I'm in Colorado.
