"We MUST get to discount tires, they are trustworthy and will fix the tire, normally for free!!" We drive up and are soon greeted, the Discount gentleman stated, "let's take a look!" "We will fix your tire free of charge, BUT, you really need 3 new tires!" OUCH Here is the deal, as the Discount Gentleman continued!! "I will give you that deflating tire for FREE if you wish to purchase the other two tires!" Who can refuse such a great deal! He then added!!! "We can apply for your Discount Auto Card in 60 seconds, and approved, you will have 6 months INTEREST FREE, to pay off the two tires I will be charging, the third tire is free!" WOW! And my credit went through in 60 seconds, signed - sealed - and new tires on my car, balanced and what all they do with 6 months to pay (easy) INTEREST FREE!! REPEAT ""INTEREST FREE"" My ride in my car now is like riding on a cloud, only if I am away from the Denver Roads!! We picked up a screw in our rear tire and it started going flat on I-70 on long drive home…read moreThanksgiving weekend. We called a couple of tire shops in Golden, but no one could get us in. We were literally riding on our rim when we got to Goodyear, and these guys were our last hope. The manager was amazing and got us in right away, even though he and his crew were swamped. They really took care of our stressful situation, and I would 100% recommend this shop!

Less than 200 miles and two months after the Golden, CO Goodyear store performed routine brake…read moreservice my brakes began grabbing and grinding. The store said bearings repair was needed, and said they would do this under warranty. Then, after the work was done, they charged me additional fees for the bearings work. First, the bearings should have been serviced during routine brake service, but they did not. Second, they levied charges for the additional work after they said it would be done under warranty, without my prior approval. This likely violates Colorado state law CRS 42-9-104. After I paid the additional (unlawful) charges, my brakes failed multiple times, including instances while I drove on the highway, and once while 200 miles from home on a mountain pass. (In that harrowing instance I was stranded and had to pay out of pocket for repairs, towing, etc.) After each instance of brake failure, I returned to the Goodyear store where the store manager claimed to repair it under warranty, offered a variety of excuses, explanations and assurances, all of which ultimately proved to be empty and false. Goodyear in the end never repaired the brakes correctly. Now, a different repair shop is recommending a complete new brake job to correct the damage caused by Goodyear. They installed incorrect parts for my vehicle, installed parts incorrectly, including installing bearings with no grease. Another repair shop confirmed that bearings had been installed with literally no grease. This guaranteed that the bearings would overheat and the brakes would malfunction, as happened to my vehicle a total of five times since Goodyear performed the routine brake service. This is a shocking example of faulty workmanship, that easily could have had terrible dangerous consequences. It was just dumb luck that myself, my passengers and other drivers on the road were not harmed any of the times my brakes failed. As a practical matter, the local Goodyear store staff ruined my vehicle by rendering it no longer reliably safe to drive. It never previously had any problem with the brakes. Now, having interacted with the Goodyear company's corporate people, I am certain the problems encountered at the local Goodyear store reflect the broader corporation's culture. I interacted with George Theodore at the Goodyear corporate Property Damage Claims Team. He was calloused and indifferent. When I attempted to ask questions, he spoke to me with a contemptuous tone and and hung up on me. Before he hung up, though, he told me to call the goodyear corporate customer relations number with questions about refunding amounts paid for the failed brake service.  When I called, I was told the regional manager Jeff Moraine would contact me within 48 hours. He never did; I reached out to him directly, still no reply. Weeks later a customer service rep left a message telling me to contact the Property Damage Claims Team. This was a textbook example of runaround, and additional insult on top of the extant harm caused by this company. These people have no shame, no respect for customers who spend their money and time patronizing their businesses, no concern at all for people harmed by faulty workmanship at their stores. I will be filing a report with my local law enforcement agency, documenting that the local goodyear store levied charges without my prior approval. But I know this will not effect the corporate actor's conduct. All I can do is resolve to never patronize any business or purchase any brand connected to goodyear, and to communicate the experience to others (hence this review) so they can avoid goodyear repair centers and the goodyear company more generally, to avoid similar harm, damage, and loss.

We were not aware they sold tires as well and would price match those. Whomever we spoke with on phone price matched Firestone cost to install at their facility...but instead we got to be home instead. Awesome service all around with competitive prices ; which will NOT rob you dry! We had originally gone into a famous tire spot in our spare ( as tire was damaged near construction site driving home night before) and they quoted us $1200 for four tires that weren't even that good. My fiancé drove off and found Tire Rack and this spot online to install in the comfort of our home. 2nd I recently purchased new tires for my Subaru suv & they installed at work! Excellent customer service & convenient. I just had to take my suv to get alignment at dealer after. From what I understand they will go pretty much anywhere to install (homes, business, parking lots, etc). Excellent- fast - and top commitment to a great customer

I used to come here on occasion for a decade. They did a major engine repair: took five weeks,…read moreinclusive of head shop, partial rebuild, and timing belt. Within a week of pickup , car performed perhaps better than before (except fan buzz/vibration). They'd suggested a new check-engine light was due to failed NOx sensor, sure it would be covered by VW's emission warranty. This turned out to not be the case, and although they had a way to verify that (VIN + phone), they winged it, telling me it would be free with dealer, or "about $500" with Euro-Tech. I appreciated that until I learned, after hours on the phone with 3 dealers and VW USA twice, that this replacement would not be covered (VIN settles this). Euro-Tech front office rep Becky, who seemed to gate-keep against talking with owner or mechanics during the main job, took a tense, ominous tone to calls about every 10 days, such that it made me nervous (I felt there was something they weren't telling me). I eventually got to speak with owner's son, who thankfully knows how to speak with a customer well. When it was time to go pick up the car after work near the end of their 5pm close, office rep Becky was curt, hustling me to inform me that "we don't have a bunch of time to stand around and chat." Quite a thing to shovel at a customer who was paying nearly $5k and waiting over 5 weeks for the job to finish. Days later, problems related to the check-engine light and apparently-related AdBlue warning came to a head: NOx sensor they assured me would be warranty-covered (which if they weren't sure about, shouldn't have asserted covered) led to a warning the engine would not start within 200 miles. I'd updated Euro-Tech's front office rep a few times as I learned more between dealerships and VW USA directly, and landing at a dealership that instead treated me with complete professionalism at each step there forward. This Euro-Tech office rep Becky said she called some other dealership, concluding they said that this repair would be "covered" (without diagnosis, and apparently without VIN check: manual transmission model mattered, which VW cut out of the warranty Euro-Tech was so sure would provide coverage, which basic/reasonable due diligence would have revealed), but this was likely made up. I asked her to instead call the dealership I chose (McDonald), which would be bound by terms all other dealerships have to obey. In her alleged conversation with McDonald VW's service lead, there was apparent confusion about whether I had accepted any sort of "payment," which I had not, but she asserted "you took the money" (was not even offered, as has been confirmed, but she oddly chose to assert this). VW dealer service manager then quickly/shortly verified everything with VW, learning what a basic and proper investigation trail would have discovered (manual model not covered). Oops (confirmed Becky was making stuff up). Not a problem that she was mistaken, but her generally defensive and brutal attitude towards a customer that was actually still considering them for another job was a problem. I chose dealership to fix that for a similar out-the-door price, and I concluded, as long as office rep Becky is at Euro Tech, I'll not return. Had they preferred to get it right, they'd have $700+ more, and 5 stars instead of 1 (would be a 2 for the engine job, but this office problem is big enough to justify this reprise at 1).. Material facts above are all verifiable, and a few years later, I'm happy I've kept my European cars away from this shop. They may try to make snotty retaliatory comments again here too, but I know readers who've been burned by shops here and elsewhere will know to weigh this comment soberly among others like it and positive ones just the same.
