Came here excited about the price of the oil change, left slightly disappointed. I thought the oil change went fine. Everyone was friendly, the process was smooth and prices competitive with other drop in oil change garages. However, when I got my car back I was told the inspection was good. Then I noticed they gave me a sticker that added 20,000 miles to my odometer and they report that to carfax....they changed it in their computer but not on the carfax report. Which means if I want to sell my car, someone might think I adjusted the odometer. Then at home once I parked overnight I noticed a huge oil puddle under my car. It appears they may have damaged an oil ring or did not properly cap the oil and it was leaking out. I took it back and they were very nice about fixing it. But I shouldn't have had to go back twice for these issues. read more

My first experience was really great. Second time here was not so good. They were short-staffed, which I completely get in this new environment. However, I waited for roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes to get the oil changed. I specifically asked that all of the fluids be topped off, too. Next morning my coolant light went off. It was tremendously low on coolant. Never touched. I have to wonder if the oil actually got changed. read more

The manager, Rick, was yelling so loudly and disrespectfully at an employee in front of a customer and their vehicle, that potential customers left without receiving service. I was waiting outside in my car with the windows rolled up and could hear every word perfectly. Potential customers that were merely driving by slowed down to see what was going on. I am absolutely appalled at the way he was treating his employee. Degrading them in front of customers is not only unprofessional as a boss, but also completely disrespectful to the employee. I'm in from out of town and needed an oil change before the drive home. The staff was friendly and checked me in right away. The wait for start to finish was 40 minutes. The prices did seem high compared to what I have paid at the dealerships or other places. I would probably go to the dealership next time but this was convenient. read more

Firstly, I know what an oil change is. They treat you as if you're a brain dead idiot at this location. I went to a location to get my oil changed in my Volkswagen atlas on Smokey Hill Road and it was $115.00 for a full synthetic oil change, which is expensive in a tone, right they did not have the correct filter so I had to go to a different location which was at East Mississippi, and Parker. They were actually cheaper but they did not have an actual oil filter from my car. So I found this place long story made short $135 for an oil change and that is after the $10 off coupon. They did not go over pricing for me. They lied and said that my car cannot take a synthetic blend which is BS because I used to be a service tech at Volkswagen but because I was pressed for time I had to say yes, but I only found out the pricing after the oil change was done and they were checking me out. STAY away from this location. Plus it take over 30 minutes to get an oil change... Take five in Parker takes five minutes. These people are scam. Artist artists stay away. read more

Many of the places I called would not do 'OLD Cars', Rick suggested to be there early with NO Hesitation!!. What a cohesive Team effort . Rick works along with everyone but is the obvious Leader, Tommy , Lawrence and Dakota went to work in a 'regimental action' with constant interactive communication saying out loud what was being done , who had finished there activity, what was finished/ what was next, all in precise Military Fashion . I was amazed at the comprehensive activity in a true TEAM Effort, The BEST !! I went in to get my oil changed this morning and being a regular Grease Monkey customer I was planning to spend the ~$50 it usually costs for a full service oil change. The guy at this location told me my only option was the premium full synthetic package. I didn't want to get out of line so I went ahead with it and $100.00 later I'm furious. I looked up my last 2 Grease Monkey visits and both were under $50 for a full service oil change. I feel ripped off and will start taking my car elsewhere for services, that was unacceptable. I had an extremely bad experience at this shop. First of all, when I called they told me one price but once I arrived 10 minutes later, the second the guy saw I was a girl told me a price $20 more expensive. I told him I already talked to someone and he then agreed to the initial price. Secondly, they were changing my lights/brights settings and never told me. They left my brights on during the day without saying a thing to me and my car's battery completely died (my lights are usually on automatic so they turn on/off on their own). I came in for an oil change and a week later my car started shouting "oil pressure" out of no where. I haven't had any problems with my car for the past 3 years and now out of no where this happens. Really wanted to like this place but there are a few issues: 1) Their option for oil filters to match the 10k oil change leaves a lot to be desired. You'll have to come back for a 5k oil filter change. 2) More importantly my Pathfinder needed an engine air filter change which I opted for. Essentially no tools are required and two clamps hold it in place. I was surprised the other day when I was checking the engine oil levels that I saw something orange (see attached image) indicating they hadn't properly locked it in place. To me this screams incompetence and unfortunately should've known better. Given these circumstances I won't be returning :/ read more

I almost always use Grease Monkey for my oil change because they're quick and thorough. However, this one takes the fucking cake, ice cream, and cherry on top. I always call to ask about the time frame and Shane answered happy and encouraging. I came in immediately, after I made a quick Starbucks run, and they had a spot ready and open for me. It's 11:30am on a Thursday, I would hope they weren't crazy busy but if they were I would understand why! They told me what I needed and started on my car! I go in to the front and see they have a nice air conditioned area with some water, coffee and a clean bathroom(coming from someone with OCD). Awful. I've been going to Grease Monkey for years and decided to try this one as it's close to my house. My car was in the bay for OVER AN HOUR, and it was filthy when finally got it back. I risked getting my oil change over COVID and they clearly are not taking any precaution. I asked them to replace my wipers, they said no problem - and nothing was changed. When I drove away, the service light was still on, and the tire light for some reason. I called and asked to speak to a Manager. Chad basically told I'm SOL. Regarding the wiper, they said they don't change those for my car. Really? You couldn't have told me that when I was there?? Regarding the light - you'll have to come back and wait in line for us to fix it. Regarding the tire, not my problem. I won't be coming back, and they clearly don't care. read more

I've been to a number of different Grease Monkey locations in the metro area. The experience has always been consistent and reliable. This one on the other hand.... Drove up and got asked if I'd ever been there before. I had not. Employee walked away at that point and disappeared for a few minutes without a word. Huh? He comes back. Starts listing off all the synthetic oil options. My 4Runner takes conventional oil. "I have to check if we still carry conventional oil". What????? Disappears again. "Yes, we can change your oil, do you want us to do it?" Huh? Why else am I there? Walk into the lobby. Barely get greeted. No one talks to me again. 15 minutes later guy comes in and says "you're done". Mind you he didn't really look at me as he said this and me and the other guy sitting there didn't know which of us he meant. I paid and left. I have no idea if I got the correct oil or anything. Paperwork says I did. Car seems to work. But wow....communication with these guys was weird. I'm not ever going back. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I have been working with them since last Saturday, I have informed them that the next weekend I have to be out of town. I was told it would be done by Tuesday only to get a call Tuesday before closing that they do not have the part. Long story short on Wednesday I was told by a rude mechanic that they have no update on the part and to go somewhere else. I was not able to go on my trip because I was constantly lied to about when my car will be ready and wasn't told to go somewhere else until I was obviously too late. I've been here several times with both our vehicles and get superb service every time I'm here. This last visit, I had issues with the wiper fluid not coming out and surprised to learn that the lines were cracked...I was just as much in shock as they were about it! And because I've been here previously, they did the repair free of charge and also aired up the tires as the indicator was on, which is great! Since coming here, they've been honest compared to some of the other shops we've gone to nearby, which has saved us in unnecessary repairs. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

I don't usually leave reviews but my experience here left me feeling really put off this place for good. I asked if my car required the full synthetic oil like the tech recommended and he cut me off and told me they could only do synthetic on my car. I said okay and he said we'll be pulling your car in now. I've gone to places where you pull in your car yourself and sit inside so I just said okay. He looked really annoyed and said WE will be pulling in your car now. I got out and walked outside and I forgot to leave my key fob in there. He threw his hands up and huffed like he couldn't believe it and came to ask me for it. When I went to pay the subtotal went from 78.99 to 81.99. I was over it and felt like an idiot as it was for asking any questions so I just paid and left. I don't like making the drive to Take 5 in Arvada so I wanted to give a local business a shot but I won't be coming back to a place that makes me feel like stupid for asking questions or not being familiar with their process. It would probably be a good idea to post signs at both lanes of the car wash that the dryers won't be operable for two months. It wasn't until I got out of the car wash that another person showed me a sign posted in the other lane that the car wash dryers won't work. Complete waste of time. read more

This seemed like a nice clean establishment but the car was wasn't great. It missed spots on tires and hood which wasn't that big of a deal. The biggest issue was side mirrors not clean at all and the dry wasn't good so there were spots all over the car. I never do a vacuum so this was my first and the vacuum suction seemed bad and didn't really accomplish much. I liked the change machine and I did try some leather protector wipes (two types I tried) but both weren't good so waste of two $$. I won't go back. Yelp gave 10% off when I "checked in" but no way to apply it to the wash as there was no code so kind of a waste read more

Went for opening of this shop with a $24.99 oil change coupon. My car apparently take different oil so mine was more expensive... fine except it was $70 pretty far from $25. This price is also more than I have paid at other locations. Mentioned that it was pretty crappy advertising, but continued to pay for the service. As I was leaving I heard the workers say, "who cares? You can't make everyone happy. It's not like it was $1000." Could have at least waited until I left to take badly about the customer.
