I rolled in today after my engine started to continuously overheat. As I am new to the area, I wasn't sure where else to go and Jiffy Lube was closest to me. Even though they typically only do oil changes, they took my car in and replaced multiple parts that needed to be replaced. I'm glad they were willing to make an exception and put in the time to help me. They worked the best deal they could as it was inevitably an expensive fix, but they saved me a lot of money in the long run. Horrible shop! Do not use this establishment. The staff there over tightened the oil pan plug (bolt) so much so it cracked the gasket. Oil leaked everywhere. . I've tried calling to give them to address this terrible performance. No call back! Forced me to go to a different shop Valvoline. They were super sympathetic and helped out right away. Great service every time. I know I have a difficult car to work on but they have been quick and accommodating. I needed my turn signal light replaced and even though they would have to remove 4 bolts and the tire to get to them they replaced them within 20 minutes. They haven't over charged me and I feel they are a great choice. 10/10 read more

I needed an oil change as I was going through Bozeman. I got there a half an hour before closing. Upon changing the fuel filter, one of the lines broke off. They made an amazing effort and were able to get a part from the parts store to fix the problem at their cost. They got me back on the road again. read more

Currently on the road on my way to Seattle and needed to get my oil changed. Was able to get in on a Sunday just before they closed and they were able to accomodate my oil change with no problem. Very quick in and out. Yes, it is very expensive relative to other shops in town, especially the Walmart down the street, but honestly they deserve the 4 stars because they were able to get me in right before they closed and in and out quick without any fuss. Avoid at all costs. Went in. Had them look at a high mileage truck I had just bought. They recommended a total fluid change and some various other services. Everything seemed logical, I paid in advance and we set a date to drop it off / pick it up. I dropped it off at 8a on the day-of (as instructed). Came back 1-week later (as instructed). No work had been completed. No one had called me. No nothing. I took the keys. Got my refund (no explanation for why they didnt do anything) and swore at myself for not checking Yelp first. read more

What a HORROR SHOW. I know it's tough to find workers right now, but the bottom line is I am a consumer and this place, I can't say enough terrible things about it to be honest. First of all it took an hour and a half, second of all they were constantly talking crap about the customers, I also saw extremely unprofessional behavior. I was very concerned and so I watched the oil change because I brought my own oil and filter and I was afraid that they were just toss it aside and not use it because that's how much trust the instilled in me as a customer. They dropped our oil we waited an hour for someone to tell us they don't even have our oil now waiting on two hours here with two kids in 100 degrees as they roll their eyes at me and take care of nothing. I came in on a Sunday afternoon for an oil change. When I pulled in there were three cars ahead of me. It took maybe twenty minutes before my vehicle was in the shop. Took my 1997 BMW in after it has been stored all winter to get all of the fluids checked and oil changed out. All went well until I left and was driving home. My car, which had not had any issues with the coolant prior to arriving, suddenly over heated and died after I pulled over. Checked it an there was no coolant in the reservoir. This should have been checked, filled, and was not. Went in the next day to tell them and they offered to give me some free coolant to go put in the car. Hopefully they did not damage it. Will see as now the car is undrivable and keeps overheating and had to have it towed to get looked at by a repair shop. Waiting for another week before they can even look at it. Bottom line, it was working great when I brought it in, and now, not at all. Having a full diagnostic done... elsewhere. read more

Above and Beyond - This is the only place in town I get my oil changed. They are extremely fast and their staff is always courteous and kind. Last Friday evening I was in an incredible rush to get out of town and wasn't able to get my oil changed until 15 minutes before they closed. Chase, Derick and especially Katherine went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming even though I know changing my oil was cutting into their weekend. These guys are the biggest scammers! Last time I used them (a long time ago due to this issue) they tried to sell me a new cabin filter since the one they showed me was filthy. I had just replaced mine and knew they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. Today they told me both my license plate light bulbs were out and they could install two more at $8 each. I rejected since I can do it myself. When I got to the auto parts store I checked the bulbs before going in. Both bulbs were working just fine. Tried to scam me again. I will never again do business with this dishonest business. Further I will post on all my social media and tell anyone I meet about my experience with these low lifes. read more

Terrible service. I stopped by hoping to get a full synthetic oil change on 12/02/2019. Only one vehicle was being serviced when I arrived, so I pulled up to an open bay. I waited for about two minutes for someone to greet me or ask what I needed. At least two of the employees looked at me, and made no effort to welcome me or communicate in any way. The employees not working on the first vehicle did not seem busy and continued talking to each other. I left after minutes of not being helped. read more

I have used Jiffy Lube for years, but will not be using this location ever again for two reasons: 1. The technician who rang me up told some stories that I believe were highly inappropriate to be discussing with customers. Things about how drunk he likes to get, how many girls he got in high school (which had to be decades ago) getting drunk with them over in Billings, and a detailed description of the physical looks of one girl in particular. 2. Because I typically get great service from this Jiffy Lube, I didn't take time to look under the hood before my drive to Seattle the next day. I wish I had, because as I climbed up I-90 towards Lookout Pass, the cab of my car started to fill with smoke and the engine thermometer began to spike as smoke started pouring out from under the hood. My two toddlers and wife were in the smoke-filled car. I pulled off at the top of the pass and popped the hood. Sitting on top the engine and in flames was a used oil rag. Some plastic melted under the hood, but other than that, no damage was done to the engine. However, if I had not been able to pull over (it was a blizzard), I believe the damage would have been catastrophic. I don't know who that new technician was, but if he were my employee, he would be fired. I should note that I was greeted by a young Caucasian technician and a young African American technician as well. They are the ones who have normally taken care of my car and are simply wonderful. I wish they had done the tune-up because I don't believe any of this would have happened. read more

Bringing a car to the shop for an oil change is rarely a particularly enjoyable experience. After a couple dozen past exchanges, I typically dread the occasion (and the up-selling, price gouging, etc. etc. that generally accompanies it). Being 2,201 miles from home on a trans-national road trip, I was expecting a similar (if not slightly worse) experience when I visited yesterday. I was proven wrong at this particular Jiffy Lube. Honestly, Graig made the whole process (all 10 minutes of it as the service was lightning-fast) a genuinely friendly and enjoyable experience. As the public face of the company, Graig was friendly, helpful, and genuine - and I left feeling welcomed and knowing that if I ever find myself needing another oil change in Bozeman, I will absolutely be revisiting this Jiffy Lube. Jiffy, I guess is very subjective...what to one may be jiffy, to another may be snail pace. We took our Ram 2500 Cummins to this store on a Tuesday early am and waited 1.5 hours to have its oil changed. Granted like so many things post Covid, seemingly every business is understaffed, but c'mon, I could have had the Dodge dealer do it faster. The store's service writer (Harry) was awesome and we cannot slight him, he was the organization's bright shining star. However, once completed Harry went through the check-list of all the things the line-staff completed, e.g. trans...check; differential... check; windows washed...check; vehicle vacuumed... check, and oil change light re-set... check... Sorry Harry I love ya man, but NOT. Your guys may have checked the trans and diff (maybe, but that I can't validate), but the windows weren't washed, the vehicle was not vacuumed, and the re-set was not "RE-Set"; we did this all ourselves after the fact. Again, Covid has taken a toll on everything...but Jiffy-Lube cannot let this be a reason for the less-than-stellar service we experienced on this visit read more

I've always had great service here. Most oil changes are done within a half hour, unless they are really busy.

Update: I received a phone call from the manager at the Bozeman Jiffy Lube profusely apologizing for the terrible experience I had at his Jiffy Lube. Dave was incredibly nice, articulate and made me feel that something good will come from my experience. I sure hope that the changes I was told would happen come to fruition. A little pricey, but Katherine, the office manager, was polite, communicative all along the way and did a great job of keeping me posted about where my car was in the process.
