"BUYER BEWARE": Really sad to give this update after going…read morehere for more than 2 years's straight, with 2 vehicles: I got an oil change 12/9/25, & they told me to have a "small leak checked", so I did. What a master mechanic found was that someone had damaged a critical part of the cooling system, & never mentioned it. They cracked it, put a clamp on it, & connected another part incorrectly, causing the "small leak"...which "suddenly" occurred after my previous oil change on 8/28/25 here at "Speedy Lube"! Furthermore, he checked a few other things & noted that the OIL FILTER HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED! $90.00 for a "FULL SERVICE" oil change, & the receipt shows "2. Oil Filter Replaced". It gets worse: My right windshield wiper doesn't even touch the windshield, & they never recommended replacement: #18. on their list is "Wiper Blades: CHECKED." And coolant? Absolutely DRY! NO COOLANT at all! The Technicians' initials who did this oil change are Upper: DLK. Lower: JPS. My previous "full service oil change" was on 8/28/25, & the one before that was on 5/19/25: My point is this--NO ONE ELSE has BEEN "UNDER THE HOOD" for ANY SERVICE EXCEPT SPEEDY LUBE! I'm NEVER going back after discovering how they have been deceiving me--it's a shame. They aren't the same precision operation that I trusted for more than the last two years.

Realized I needed an oil change before driving back home to Minnesota...from Montana. Whoops!…read moreThankfully Speedy Lube did a great job and I got home just fine! The oil change only took about 20 minutes, and everyone was super friendly. I would definitely recommend!

While visiting Montana I needed to replace my tires. A dear friend Matt whose family is rooted in…read morethe Bozeman community and surrounding areas for generations, stated he has used Firestone for many years for various mechanical repairs, replacements and also tires. And he implicitly trusts the honesty and quality of workmanship. I am so grateful for his recommendation. Jon and Will are the highly skilled mechanics that I was fortunate to have working on my Chevrolet Traverse. Steve the manager chose the perfect tires! When driving 1200+ miles road trips, comfort matters! And the pricing for everything was Amazingly great! Thanks Jon, Will and Steve you made me a lifetime Firestone customer. I made it back safe with the smoothest quietest ride ever.

Last week, Steve confirmed he had Blizzak snow tires in stock, said he would reserve them, and scheduled my appointment. I verified in advance because I live 60 miles away. This morning I drove 110 miles round trip, took time off work, arrived on time, checked in, and the work order was correct. The lobby was empty. After over two hours, I was told: "We're sorry -- we don't have your snow tires. We must have sold them." Then they said they were pulling my car up. No call. No warning. No attempt to resolve the issue -- despite this being a safety-related tire replacement. I left and went to Les Schwab, where I had new snow tires installed immediately. I am now an ex-Firestone customer. This Bozeman location wasted my time and broke a clear inventory promise. Do not rely on Firestone's word if you're traveling any distance.

My mistake not asking for the up front cost, as they dumped a $650 bill on me. After I reviewed the bill I found they tacked on $26 to refill my DEF, which I had done a week before (~300 miles) bringing my van in. $26 for maybe a quarter gallon of DEF... I waited 2 weeks to get on their schedule, then had my car towed to their shop. I took them about a week and a half to fix my car and while it was there I asked them to perform an oil change. They didn't mention how much this service would be, nor did they ever check in with me about the repair to give me an estimate on the bill as the repair was in progress. The final bill was $1700 for the repair and $250 for the oil change! Let me repeat that as it is NOT a typo... $250 for an OIL CHANGE! My car takes 4 quarts of oil and and oil filter the size of a coke can. I've never paid more than $90 for an oil change for that Kia anywhere in town. When I confronted my contact "Travis" about this he justified the cost by trying to tell me that "It's not as easy at just draining the old oil out and putting the new oil in". Actually Travis, it is. "Also, we put in a new air filter and did an inspection" The car didn't need an air filter and I didn't ask for one. Also, I received no inspection report either written or verbal. Also, not asked for. Overall, they did the work, but they were not very transparent about their pricing and not communicative at all. Would not recommend.
