Never coming back here manager incompetent poorly organized. Two other customers have left tired of waiting. I would too but my hood is up and sitting in a bay for 30 minutes and no one has asked me what I want done. I am changing my review because I went in today and they were AWESOME. The people working were different than the last times I went. They were helpful, nice, and quoted me the correct time. Which was LESS THAN 10 MINUTES!!! Seriously, it was so fast and they were so efficient. Update: The district manager called me not long after I posted this review. He asked what happened this morning, and wanted to make it right. He assured me the employees there will get more training and discussion on how to communicate and treat customers. I am impressed with his willingness to reach out and listen to me about my experience, and I will go back again to give them one more try! That is GREAT customer service and I hope he can teach his employees something! Moving my rating up to a 3- pending my next experience. I got my oil changed for the 2nd time here. The first time, no problems it was great and took about 25 minutes. Today however, I went first thing in the morning and they weren't busy. The guy who greeted me was annoyingly slow at taking my information and told me it would be 30 minutes, maybe 45 at the most. I saw they started working on my car within 5 minutes of being there. I took over an HOUR! No one even came in to let me know or check that I had the time for them to be slow and make me wait almost double the time they quoted me. I have never had such a horribly slow oil change. THEN, while I was waiting I was contending with about 10 different bugs and beetles crawling around on the floor! GROSS! AND THEN, they didn't even change the damn sticker. I specifically mentioned to the slow ass guy at the check in to change it because that's what I rely on. Terribly slow, misquoted service time, gross lobby, and didn't even do everything they are supposed to. I will NOT be going back here. read more

The assistant mgr. lied to us on the phone twice! He said their vehicle inspector was gone for the day at 4 PM on a Sunday (yesterday) and that he would be back at 7 AM the next day. When I arrived at 7 AM this morning the store mgr. said that the inspector was indeed still at work on Sunday but WOULD NOT be in until noon today (Monday). The store mgr. also give incorrect information on state inspections that we've confirmed from other shops and state law statutes. DON'T USE THESE GUYS! read more

These guys are great! Friendly and quick. I arrived at 4:30pm and was out in 20 minutes and that's with 1 car ahead of me!

Every time I've taken my vehicles there, I've had nothing but good experiences. They are always courteous and friendly and I'm usually in and out quickly. They aren't pushy and last time I was there I asked if they would take a little extra time when they vacuumed out the car and they said sure! Thanks guys. Recently I had some delay in getting an air filter I needed for my car. When it did come in, the manager did not charge me for it. I didn't ask nor expect that he would do this, but I appreciated it very much. I have previously had good experiences with this Jiffy Lube and this kind gesture will keep me coming back. read more

ok, i had posted a review yesterday, but realize the point is not to close a business or keep people from trying them, its to improve customer service. my issue is the seemingly un willingness to do an inspection! but the new mgr yesterday WAS reasonable and offered to do it first thing today, so lets see is the squeeky wheel gets some grease, or gets an excuse or maybe even just failed for being difficult! On April 20th, I went to JL to get my cars mechanical inspection. I had recently bought my car in Austin so I still had the Travis county inspection sticker, but I live in Bastrop County. When I got there, one worker saw my sticker and told me that they don't do Travis county cars, I told him where I live and ask me for proof, so I had to go home and get my car's title, and an utility bill. When I got back, the manager received me and told me that they don't do Travis county sticker, I told him where I lived and showed him the car's title where it says Bastrop county. He told me that my address shows Del Valle, City and that it is part of Austin. I told him that I was not leaving and my house is in fact in the Bastrop county area. he told me they cannot do it but if I can go two blocks away, going south on 71, there is a car wash and that they can do it. I insisted that my address is on Bastrop County and that I was not leaving until I got my sticker, then he said that he was calling the regional manager and he will decide. After few minutes he came out again and said that they can do it but that they did not have the Affidavit form I needed to sign and insisted that I should go to the car wash and get it done there. Mi impression is that this manager was already determined not to inspect my car, if he was out of the affidavit forms, he could easily download one from the Internet or just make one on a sheet of paper, also, he could have verified m y address on line and determine that I live in Bastrop County. My question is, what kind of idiot hired this manager or any of these guys that work here. It is unprofessional to send your customers away and to your competition. I recently visited Jiffy Lube in Bastrop, as a women I don't like going to places where there are men working because, I have been taken advantage of before in places like this, but need to say I had a great experience, I was there about 4 years ago and the experience I had at that time was horrible, I have friends that take there cars there and they told me its nothing like it was, that they have knew management, so I went back and they were right, I love the staff and the manager is great. I went to this location for the first time today. I arrived at 11:45 a.m. and was checked in for service on my 2000 F250. I went in and sat down. At 12:30 another customer who was there when I arrived appeared anxious and disappeared out the back door. Approximately 12:45 his truck left the buliding to be parked outside. His name was called out twice before I was called a red headed gentleman who worked out what I needed. I admit that I gave him a bad time about the Rotella that I thought went in the truck was 20 w 50. I checked the last oil change ticket and it said that it was indeed 5 w40. I apologized and added additional service for the front and rear differential. The time was 1:00. Ten minutes later or so latter the fellow with the red F 150 came in the front door to pay his bill and retrieve his vehicle. He said rather loudly "Are y'all still here?! I looked out at that time and noticed that our truck was moved outside. At 1:24 a blond headed young man checked me out and took my money. I asked why it had taken an hour and a half to to get my work done. He explained that he was new and business was heavy. I asked to see the manager. I was directed to the read headed fellow .He appeared both surprised and put out when I asked about the length of my stay. He explained rather abruptly that he was short handed and working with untrained new help. I explained to him rather plainly that this was my first and last visit to this store. 1st off, I work in the automotive repair business. But my shop is closed on Sunday. So I was originally in Austin, and I stopped at another Jiffy Lube, to get my tire pressure checked, & I got a giant attitude problem from the guy!!! Then he tried to tell me how he was sure that my tires were fine, and he was sure the temperature drop was what caused it! I told him I know I have tire leak, & it was 70+ degrees all night. Then more attitude, and he tried to discuss how they were busy, and only 1 air line in the shop was working, on & on. He verified my low tire, and more attitude. Left me with the impression that he put air in it. Nope! I drove back toward Bastrop. I know that you can sometimes have to drive a while before the light goes out. Never went out! So, I stopped @ Bastrop Jiffy Lube. Talked to 3 different guys. And even though I had to respectfully wait, at least these 3 guys were polite, and kind! I believe the Asst Manager's name was James. He & his 2 guys should go teach that other shop manners, and how to add air to tires!!!!!!! read more
