I was excited to try what was presented as a higher end restaurant, when in fact, it was very mediocre. The service was good, I will give them that. The food, unfortunately did not hold up to the cost. Wagu burger was cooked decent and the bun was good. Overall lacked flavor. The aoli was basically Mayo. Bland all around and nothing to write home about for $18. I expect a burger to be top notch for that price. Fries were blah. Their signature Manhattan came out with no bitters or cherry, as they were out. When I ordered a second, it had a dirt cheap maraschino cherry, again I would have expected a decent well thought out drink for the price. Won't be going back. read more

What a spectacular dining experience. If you're looking for waterfront dinner, this is the best in Snohomish County. Awesome acoustics create the ability to have large groups and good conversation without it being too noisy. The ambience is romantic but large and gorgeous. Their kids menu is on the healthier side too, which is so refreshing. Our service from Jae was incredible as well and the food was fresh, inventive and beautifully plated. So yummy--I can't wait for sunshine and dinner on the deck, and to try out their brunch! read more

I was supposed to work here, had a glitch in the background check, and had to move on, anyways, with everything being closed for Christmas, what's open? I so badly wanted to love this place, always want to support local workers. There were some good parts and some head shakers. Good: Smash Burgers and fries (regular and garlic) that my husband and son ordered. Amazing. Service was attentive once we were sat. Server was very personable, professional and apologetic when needed over simple things she shouldn't have to apologize for. Bad/head shaker: I ordered a mimosa at brunch, as it's on their menu. The server averted her eyes and said I will have to check. What??? She came back and....They. Did. Not. Have. Champagne. How can a brunch restaurant in a waterfront hotel not have champagne? I then ordered vodka martini with olives. They. Didn't. Have. Olives. I got some small dried up Kalmata olives. Two of us ordered the Market Salad... server asked half or full, usually half is a good size at most places but she said it was on smaller side so we ordered full. When it came out we were shocked to see it barely covered an inch on bottom of bowl and was missing key ingredients listed on menu, like candied nuts. This place has potential, (although the wall with booths in middle of room ruins views from half the place). We always give some slack due to COVID when going out. BUT some things are non-negotiable. Allowing a large family without masks to enter and walk through entire hotel and restaurant, read more

The food is always just ok. Never good. Only go here because it is in the marina. Had a poke bowl this time and it was the worst most flavorless poke bowl I've ever had. The steamed clams are not good. The only thing that is good is the fries and the sliders- but they took the sliders off the menu. Really wish they'd get a good chef and new menu. Please fix. read more

This bar & grille left me feelin' impressed and blessed! The service, food and drinks are the best in the Northwest! PS They made my drink the strongest , Got me feelin' like a royal heiness read more

Service was poor, and the food was nothing to write home about. It might be a step up from Burger King, but way more expensive. The appetizer took 40 minutes to get to our table. It must be difficult to heat up bread. Staff didn't appear to care. I would not come back and don't recommend anyone else come here. There were only people at about 6 or 7 tables. There were 3 cooks and at least 5 servers, and food was still very slow to get. We decided this place is not worth coming back to. Food was unremarkable and prices high. read more

I had breakfast and lunch here when I was at the hotel and it has a fantastic water view with great food. I gave it 4/5 stars because the food and drinks are pretty expensive, but that might have to do with the waterfront view more than anything else. read more

We stopped by JBG after a concert at the Port of Everett, thinking we were going to get a great meal based on the look of the restaurant. Looks can be deceiving. Our server was affable enough, but when the food arrived my wife's brussel sprouts were cold. We sent it back. The salmon chowder resembled cat food (tasted ok) and my flank steak salad was subpar. The steak on the salad was overcooked and tough, the salad was mushy and the taste was just OK. Next, when our waiter asked if we wanted a second glass of wine I said no. A couple of minutes later he showed up and poured a full glass; I assumed he was making up for us having to return the brussel sprouts and the odd looking (think cat food) chowder with a complimentary glass of wine. Not so, my second glass of wine was on the bill. I could have complained but we choose to let it go. These days you cut restaurant workers slack for just showing up. But when they display a bored attitude and the food is bad you are certain you will not be back. We were polite and tipped 20%, but we had an awful meal for $104.00. read more

Based on the descriptions we were looking forward to dining here when staying at the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast. The service was excellent, but the food just didn't hold up. The salmon chowder was cold and bland. The cod was very tasty but overly greasy. The calamari was overcooked and dry. The breakfast, the build your own omelette was exceedingly greasy as well. The breakfast burrito was wrong ingredients. As much as we would have liked to like it it's not a place we would frequent again. read more

I am giving this place a lot of allowances as they have only been open for 9 days. The space is open with a lot of windows and a great view of the Port of Everett. I was excited to see they have a big outdoor space, I am looking forward to sitting outside next summer or if we get a few nice fall days in the next couple of weeks. We had a lovely waitress, I didn't catch her name, she was great only having been on the job for 5 days. The service was incredibly slow as they only had 2 servers working at lunch time. I'm going to give this a pass as they are new but they definitely have a lot of room to improve. My mom ordered the Jetty Grille Wagyu Burger. The burger was very juicy which caused the brioche bun to completely fall apart. Also, the kitchen left part of a string on the burger. My dad had the Crispy Halibut Sandwich. He felt the brioche bun was too much for the amount of fish served with it. I had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. The menu states it is served with pickles, grilled onions, srircha and lime aioli however it was not what was on my burger. It came with some sort of sweet slaw which I was not a fan of. Had it come the way described on the menu it would have been much better. My mom and I had French Fries and they were delicious. I asked for a side of tartar sauce for my fries and they gave me "Sauce Gribiche" which was tasty. My dad had a side salad and he said it was good. Overall, the food was okay, nothing I would run back to have again. I will give them a try again for dinner after they have been open a little while to work out some of the kinks. read more

We were super excited to try this place out for restaurant week tonight. We drove up to Everett from Seattle specifically to go to this restaurant. We then found out that the restaurant week hours on their website aren't correct. They only value restaurant week Sunday-Thursday. My wife and I went for a lunch on a Thursday. The food was really good. The calamari rings were breaded and fried perfectly, and the wagyu burger was amazing. The disappointing part was the service was extremely slow. There was only one server for probably 25 or more tables. We will try this place out again, though. We hope it was just a one time fluke that the service was so slow. read more

The 4 stars are for the service, vibe and location 2 stars are for the food. I really wanted to love the food here but the Tuna Poke was just so awkward. It's just tuna and an odd hard lettuce... and I think crushed anis that makes it feel like you have sand in your mouth. I still ate it, my husband ensuring me it was not sand lol! My main course was the filet mignon, nothing special but definitely better than the poke. A little too salty and no other flavours. I don't know if they are trying to be fancy but please update the recipe for the Poke... Our waitress was wonderful, location is great! Going back to make sure it wasn't just a bad night... read more

Very nice place to have a drink and hang out. Three TVs in the bar. Great place to watch a game. Appetizers are very, very good. Lots of fish in the fish and chips. Lightly breaded. Lynnette is the bomb!! Makes a great drink. Very freindly and helpful. Great place to relax. read more

Absolutely the worst bar experience EVER! Went in just about 7 minutes before happy hour (4:00) and jokingly asked the bartender (Alex #1002) if we could have a few more minutes to decide. He told us unfortunately he couldn't wait that long so we went ahead and ordered 2 drinks (a coffee nudge and a mudslide). There were only 2 other people in the bar so after about 10 minutes we looked around to see why it was taking so long. No bartender! Then a girl goes behind the bar and I thought "OK, change of shifts" but no, she starts unloading the dishwasher! The bartender comes back and takes another 5 minutes to make our drinks and brings them over (4:09). I'm drinking my coffee nudge and asked my sis "why is this whipping cream not melting in this hot drink?" and I told her it tasted like foam, not whipping cream so she takes it up to the bar and the girl acts like she's going to make another drink (bartender had disappeared) but then she starts unloading the dishwasher AGAIN! He then comes back and comes over and tells us that he used EGG WHITES because they were out of whipping cream! So we told him to forget it, not to bring anything else and he brings us the tab and charged us full price. When we told him he didn't bring our drinks until after 4:00 he took another $3.00 off instead of just comping our drinks, like a normal bar would do. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE! This restaurant could be something great, but owners choose to be terrible at just about everything. We made reservations and when we showed up, there was no one to greet us. We stood there at the host desk for about 7 minutes before someone came up to us and said, "Someone will be right with you." There was only one table in the whole place that had people in it, so they weren't busy at all. Once we were seated, the view was amazing and restaurant was clean and designed well. They brought 4 small slices of bread and butter for 4 people. We ordered drinks, 2 mixed and 2 glasses of wine, and they were all good. We ordered food and the waiter was unfamiliar with the menu and had to actually take it out of our hands to read what was good and make his recommendations. We ordered appetizers and salads. We got the salads, but didn't get cheese platter till entrees came. One of us got the garlic crispy chicken, tasted and prepared like they bought it from Walmart. Another of us got the pork, it came RAW!!!!!! Had to get cooked longer. Then two of us got the Prawn noodle dish, which came looking very different in proportion size...& TASTED LIKE MAC AND CHEESE WITH PRAWNS. We couldn't even finish it and had one removed from bill. THEN.....As we are leaving, I'm using the bathroom and as I'm washing my hands, a waiter comes in to use bathroom and leaves without washing his hands. GROSS! Bottom line, this restaurant has potential, but needs serious help. Cannot eat there or recommend. read more

We visited for the first time for Seattle Restaurant Week. Sadly of all the restaurants that we have dined for SRW, their food is the worst. COVID: The restaurant is very spacious and not crowded at all. The waitress wore a nice big mask. The entire time we were there, the lady chef wore her mask below her nose! The ahi poke and salmon chowder were good. The main course scallops & squash risotto was super salty. So salty that we could only eat a quarter of it before giving up. They need to cut the salt by 90%. It's nice that the appetizer and soup tasted good, but the main course is the "main event" of the meal. read more

We've given this place enough chances now that it's time to write a review. The decor and openness of the restaurant itself makes you want so badly to love it. Overall, I have never been to an establishment where the food is so wildly inconsistent, ranging from great to inedible. I regret not taking a picture of my most recent meal of flaccid stinky raw scallops they attempted to cook more when I tried to send back...they returned with a tinge of color, but still raw and chewier than double bubble. I had to spit out the one bite I took, I attempted to eat the risotto, but it was so full of unrendered bacon fat, I couldn't continue. The sever took my plate off the tab ultimately, but didn't offer me a replacement meal. During the 3 hours it took to eat here, I was lucky to get 2 drinks, at one point we walked to the bar and were promptly chased down by the server. In the half dozen times I've been here now, you can rely on the service staff being consistently temperamental, should you ask for anything typical of any other restaurant, be prepared for a condescending response. This place just isn't worth it, we won't be wasting anymore time or money here. Just incredible that management would let such an awesome opportunity to run a nice restaurant fizzle out so quickly. read more

Every single thing we've had here has been fabulous. It's so good we're making it our Christmas Eve destination. The seafood and wild mushroom omelet was divine -- a real lovely balance of flavors without being overpowering. The crabcake benedict on the breakfast menu was mouthwatering. I tried the Salish Sea Cioppino and could not get enough. We had seafood at another local restaurant and even after sending back the halibut it was dry. I rarely order seafood out for this reason but whatever we've ordered at the Jetty has been spot on. They are doing it right. And they make a mean Manhattan at the bar. Bonus : ) read more

I wish we had half of the experience that these other people did. New Years Dinner was the smallest portions we have ever seen- maybe 4 oz lobster tail came raw so had to send it back. A few potatoes and a tablespoon of greens along side. Meanwhile my husband ate his meal alone while I waited again for my dinner. Service was really slow.....dessert was a 2 inch block of cake. And all of this for $58 per person (6 small oysters to share and an glass of champagne) also included. Rarely saw our server.... Decided to give it another chance for breakfast (New Years Day) since we were staying at the hotel- sat for over 20 minutes before getting water and coffee....another 15 or so minutes to get our order taken. When we didn't see our meal after 1 hour and 15 minutes, we walked out. We watched other tables go get a manager, etc. Too bad for a holiday get away! Simply one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Really! I love to try new restaurants and I usually don't write a review unless a place is over the top. Jetty Bar and Grille is over the top! Ambiance on the water is refreshing, the appetizers from the fresh oysters and Caesar salad were a great way to start and the Lobster Mac n' Cheese was simply mouth watering. I finished with a poached pear and drip coffee. Both were perfect, seriously, even their coffee was perfect. The chef has put together a unique and exciting menu and the wait staff is professional, personal and efficient. I will gladly make the drive from Issaquah to Everett to enjoy this wonderful dining experience as often as I can! read more

This was my husband and I's first time here, I'm hopeful when we get to come back that we can give this place 5 stars, I think the kitchen is still working a few things out. To start we ordered the Rucker Margarita, The Empress, and the Cheese & Charcuterie plate. The margarita was very flavorful, high pineapple/citrus flavor, tangy. The Empress was a lavender color gin cocktail that was delicious; flavors of lemon and bergamot blended well with the gin. The appetizer was well paired with 3 cheeses, 3 meats, grilled bread, preserves, cranberries, candied hazelnuts, and delicious pickled veggies that I can only guess were house made (that crunch!!); I highly recommend it. For dinner my husband had the Scuttlebutt Fish & Chips. The fries were well seasoned but a bit greasy. The fish could use some attention; the breading was so thick he actually took one bite and didn't even get to the fish. He was peeling it off in chunks so he could taste the fish. I ordered the Steak Frites, medium rare, this said it came with chimichurri and garlic fries. The steak came presented on a bed of arugula and pickled onions (delish!). The steak was more medium (barely any pink) but tender and flavorful; I could cut with my fork. The chimichurri was amazing, but it's hard to mess that up. The fries had no visible appearance of being "garlic" and only had the faintest whiff of garlic smell. I'm used to ordering garlic fries that have aromatic chunks of garlic on them so this was disappointing. The garlic aioli the waitress brought helped kick up the flavor, but again very greasy. The waitress, Celinda (spelling??) was amazing! You could tell she was new, but she was bright, engaging, and very attentive. She made recommendations to help us decide, where she could. We kindly gave her our food feedback when asked and she took it gracefully and promptly relayed it to the kitchen. read more

I'm giving 5 stars keeping in mind that they are a brand new restaurant! Beautiful scenery, historic pictures on the walls, very large open space, full bar, kind wait staff, yummy food. Be aware it isn't a super cheap visit but they do seem to have a good happy hour in mind for week days. Lovely patio that will need some lights & heaters as the season changes. Lots of seafood on the menu, very limited options for vegetarians. The bar has TVs with sports on in a slightly separate area than dining (not with the same marina view as the dining area). Parking available, pretty walkways nearby, good music, doesn't feel like a hotel bar/restaurant. It does have a more fine-dining menu & feel, I'd like to see it appeal to a broader audience but it is a pretty place with good potential. read more

The restaurant itself is not very warm or inviting. The chairs are so heavy, you can barely move them, my Benedict had the smallest amt if hollandaise sauce, the egg was cooked to medium, the English muffin was cold and the potatoes had no seasoning whatsoever and a side of ketchup? I could've gotten a better breakfast at a cheap diner. read more

When you enter the Foyer of the Hotel you can hear how loud the restaurant is from 200 feet away. Sounds like a pool hall. There was 4 tables in the restaurant and bar was packed and noisy like a bowling alley/pool hall. They had more employees than customers and somehow it took 20 mins to get our drink order. Then came the day old dry bread at 40mins. Finally came or dinner at 1hr 20mins for our table of 4. We all shared a bite of our dinners so we could really find out what this place was all about. It took us 2 hours for us to finally pay our tab and leave. My wife's meal was the special tacos that not only looked unappetizing but tasted that way as well. Marks dinner was the halibut sandwich. Bread was at least a day old and dry. Halibut was tasteless. Dennis's dinner was the wagyu burger. This is the worst wagyu burger I have ever tasted if it truly was even wagyu. I have had better fresh ground chuck burgers and fresh bread at The Baked Cafe for 1/2 the price. My dinner was the salmon chowder which was overpowered by the fennel. Could not even taste the salmon. Main course was the fried chicken sandwich which had day old dry bread and the chicken was burnt. I can understand paying $7 beer and $15-$20 per plate if the food is at least somewhat worthy. This place not even close. We walked out with a $150 bill and a ...are you kidding me ?. Some of the best chefs in Seattle are personal friends of mine and if you want quality food go to Kappo Tamura, Kedai Makan, or June Baby just to name a few. Hard to believe people are willing to not only pay a premium for terrible food but continue to put that low quality food in there bodies. I've been there twice, and the service was HORRIBLE both times. The food was better the first time, when it was far busier. While being a new business, there was no excuse for the server failing to even greet me (much less provide water, order beverages, etc) until almost 15 minutes had passed. The bar table that walked in over 5 minutes AFTER me had drinks and had placed food orders before I was even greeted. The second time was almost empty, and the server was more interested in chatting with her fellow crew members than serving. We had to flag her down to get the bill. The food was pretty horrible that night, as well - dried out as if it was under a heat lamp for quite a while, and overcooked. I had great hopes for this place, but sorely disappointed so far. read more

Let me start by saying that the service here is phenomenal. Our waiter Brennan was fantastic. He was working far harder than he should have been, yet still found time to ensure that we were being taken care of despite the conditions he was dealing with. The decor and views are the best in town, but sadly they are sullied by the complete ineptitude of the kitchen staff. To say it was the worst meal I have ever had would not do justice to what they were trying to pass off as food. My son ordered lobster mac and cheese with a side of garlic fries and a herb aioli. Pretty straight forward, right? The mac and cheese came out congealed. The "garlic fries" had no trace of garlic and came with ketchup, not aioli. My wife ordered the chippino with chorizo. Imagine Campbell's creamy tomato soup, with about 2oz of seafood added and no chorizo. I ordered the hangar steak. It came with a chimichuri sauce and fries. I ordered it medium rare. The steak came out cold and blue. The chimichuri was straight raw garlic and parsley. No olive oil or vinegar, which is standard. I understand that this was their "soft opening" week, but they need to purge the kitchen staff now if they have any hopes of succeeding. read more
