Jet's is easy to get to and had a lot of parking around the shop. They have partitions up for COVID safety measures. I have been wanting to try this pizza place for quite some time. I love the various dough offerings, e.g., square cut, thin crust, cauliflower, etc. All of the typical toppings are available also. We got the small personal 4 cut square cheese pizza with one topping, the veggie lover thin crust pizza, medium salad, and the plain boneless wings. The order was placed about 1.5 hours before pickup and tasted like they made it when the order was placed instead of waiting until pickup time. Other than being cold, the food was good. The pizza could have used a little but more cheese and did not have too much sauce. The wings were like chicken nuggets and just the right size for my little nugget. I will try it again and pick up the pizza as soon as I order it and it's ready. read more

We used to order from Jet's because we live close by, the pizza is pretty tasty and it was just an easy option. Maybe once a month. I always went down and picked it up. One time our car was being repaired, we were low on dinner groceries, and it was getting late and the kids hadn't eaten, so I ordered delivery from Jet's, something I hadn't done before. I paid for it online and the delivery time was supposed to be about 40 minutes. An hour went by. Two. Two and a half. The kids went to bed disappointed, having eaten whatever crummy little dinner I could scrounge from the kitchen. I called Jet's but they didn't pick up. I called over and over again and they never answered the phone. The pizza never did show up and I was never able to get in touch with them. Tried to call the next day and the day after. I just wanted my money back. They never answered the phone. As far as I know, they still don't answer the phone. I filled out a complaint on the Jet's website, which goes to their national corporate office, not the franchise. The next day I got a call - from the local phone number I'd been calling, the one that doesn't pick up. I was at work and couldn't the answer the call just then. So I called them back a little while later. No answer. Tried that night, the next day. No answer. They just don't answer the phone, ever. The only way to have any communication with this Jet's location is to physically go there, which would probably be pointless and I'd just end up screaming at some hapless high-school kid. This happened sometime last year - maybe things have changed by now. They still owe me $25. read more

Very happy with the speed. Pizza was ready when my husband went to pick it up. The Detroit style square slices is amazing. Love the crunch of the crust. Probably best pizza we have in Dormont read more

Ordered pickup. Really enjoyed this pizza. Potions don't disappoint. Will go again. Easy ordering via text. Love this pizza read more

Look here! Look! Listen! Jet's pizza is smexy. Uber smexy, yes? Oui. The only one here in PA. It wandered in from Detroit and it's just delicious, let me tell you. See, they do this thing with their dough that causes little air pockets to form, resulting in a super crisp crust, even for the deep dish. And get that deep dish, Johnny. Be sure to get it with the sesame seeds added to the edge crust. It's just the tops. The regular round pizzas are just as good. And the calzones (called "pizza boats" on the menu) are the stuff of those pizza chefs you see on pizza boxes' dreams. Don't miss out on that slice special combo. Two big deep dish slices of either cheese or pep (or one of each) and a 20 ounce Pepsi product beverage for just five bucks. DAYUM! So smexy. I need to go lie down as I seem to have the vapors from writing this review. Sesame seeds all the way. read more

I'm not sure what ingredients they switched to, but their regular hand tossed pizza tasted like straight up cardboard. I used to really like their pizza but am disappointed they tossed quality out the window. After a year of frequenting this business I won't be coming back, do better!! read more

Stopped in for lunch. Actually ordered online so it was ready when I arrived. My 4 corner Detroit style was OK. Liked the deep thick crunchy dough and the sauce but the toppings were lacking in flavor even thought one was the bold pepperoni. read more

O.m.g. how have I never had this before today? When trying a new pizza spit, we typically order a medium pepperoni. Today we ordered the 8 corner and it was smack fantastic fresh delicious sweet spicy savory soft crispy all at once! Get some!!! read more

Ordered a cheese pizza, meat pizza, chicken wings and bread sticks. We wanted to try the Detroit style pizza and Jets was the closest and had good reviews. The chicken wings and cheese pizza were fine, however the meat pizza was overcooked. Not only was the crust hard, the meat toppings were as well. read more

I was told this was the place that I absolutely had to try. Without reading any written reviews I opted to see for myself. First thought. Not what I envisioned as I spotted the place. Still determined to discover what this recommendation was all about we placed our order with a little guidance from the employee manning the counter. Talk about options when ordering a pizza! They do simplify it by using a step be step process allowing you to order it your way. Start with the size, topping choice, choice of pizza crust (deep dish, hand tossed, NY style and thin). For an extra bonus you can flavorize your crust with no additional cost. 7 flavor options available. I never mixed poppy seed with my pizza but I am willing to give it a try sometime. Apparently, most people order the turbo crust. This is made up of butter, garlic, and romano cheese. They also have 11 types of specialty pizzas as well. The Jet 10 comes with cheese, pepperoni, ham, hamburger, Italian sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions, green pepper and black olives. Another specialty pizza is the 8 corner pizza. No fighting for the corners on this one! In addition to some great pizza options, they also offer salads, boneless wings, subs and cheese bread sticks. We opted to try a slice of the deep dish because this style was available by the slice. We ordered a large NY style to go. The menu prices are in line with most other pizza places. The deep dish slice tasted very good and it had a wonderful texture. Not a heavy doughy crust yet it was thick, crunchy and light tasting. Very pleasing. Not something I would order consistently as my go to pizza but it would be something I crave repeatedly over time. The NY style was average and had very little taste to it.. I noticed they promote the fact that there are 350 locations. Overall, I am planning to revisit Jet's Pizza and give some of the other menu options a try. read more

This place is awesome!!! When I rolled in, unknowingly 5 minutes before they closed, Jude cheerfully said 'absolutely, I'll make your pizza and you're going to love it!'. Guess what? He was right! I ordered a deep dish pizza and it was so good! Crunch on the crust and ooey gooey cheesy on top - it was perfect! He also turned me on to their cinnamon sticks which I loved!! Tasted like an awesome Cinnabon in a stick form - so good!! I will definitely be back especially because Jude was so great and instead of making me feel bad for coming in just as they were closing, he made me laugh and just had a super great attitude. Oh - if you like ranch - get it here - you'll want to drink it up - so dippingly good!! Thanks Jet's for the great food and thanks Jude for the even better service!! read more

Very good Detroit style pizza. The South Hills has plenty of great pizza options, but this is a nice change of pace. Affordable and tasty.

There is nothing you can say other than... This must be where God gets their pizza!!! It's perfect, it's delicious and it' has a hint of Awesome sprinkled with amazing!! For the life of me why I had never know this before .... Holy Grail of pizza read more

I love Jets. Ok let me say that again I LOVE JETS. The pizza is actually pretty good, however where they really stand out is their ways of communication. I absolutely love being able to text in my order.. I hate having to have so many apps, and the one time you want to use it you have to log back in. Jets just makes it so easy! read more

Looking at the name and logo, I thought it was just a generic pizza place. Wow, I was wrong. My friend told me to try the "8 corner" and I did. This pizza is AMAZING. It's the best Pizza Hut pizza since the 80's & 90's (Pizza Hut is not good anymore IMO). Like the food critic in Ratatouille, I was instantly transported back to my childhood Pizza Hut in the 80's. The crust is super crunchy and greasy on the bottom and edges, yet a bit doughy on the top. The cheese is perfect. So much pepperoni. The sauce has a bit too much oregano, but everything else overshadows it. If you want 80's/90's Pizza Hut, get this amazing pizza. read more

Updating my review to 5 stars to say Jet's is my favorite pizza in western PA and I've tried all of the other favorites. I swear this pizza tastes better every time! Our go to is Detroit deep dish with pepperoni, this time added the free parmesan crust. Amazing breadsticks with the most delicious marinara sauce!!! Every employee is courteous and helpful, and the delivery drivers are very cautious during this virus time. Thank you Jet's!!!! We love you! read more

Today my boyfriend placed an order via Uber Eats and forgot to add pepperonis to the pizza. He immediately called Jets Pizza where he spoke with 2 employee's, one whose tone was pointed and the others disposition was prickly. He explained the situation neither one would add pepperoni's to the pizza. Though he offered to pay the extra cost. They used Uber Eats policy as an excuse to not simply add pepperoni. Both employees said he'd have to change the order on Uber Eats (which he explained you can not do) and then urged him to either cancel the order which was a $25 fee from or reorder a new pepperoni pizza over the phone. He only orders pizza from Jets and I'm visiting from New York and was looking forward to trying the pepperoni pizza. Once the pizza got to us, it was COLD and much to my boyfriends surprise and naivety there was no pepperoni on the pizza. I'm not sure why these ladies decided not to add the pepperoni but it wasn't the best experience for me. The objective is to make the customers happy not wreck the experience. Will never order from you all again or allow him to as well. I also, will let every person I know in Pittsburgh that you all are unaccommodating and rude. read more

Love Jets for a Chain. I'll order here over a lot of the "foo-foo" spots in the area. Great Light and buttery crust, good crunch but with moisture. Turbo Crust topping is amazing. Priced very reasonably. Their sandwiches are great too! read more

SO good! I can't believe that I have been ordering from anywhere else. I'd eat here every day if possible.

WORST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD! After 2 disaster pizza orders at both Papa John's Pizza and Vocelli (Bridgeville, PA), we decided to try Jet's Pizza on the recommendation of my niece. I ordered the Detroit Style Deep Dish Pizza with three toppings. The pizza can be ordered with light cook, regular cook, or well done. I ordered regular cook and the pizza was SO BADLY BURNT THAT I COULD HARDLY CHEW IT. I can't imagine what the well done pizza would look like. There was NO SAUCE, NO CHEESE, AND NO TOPPINGS ANYWHERE ON THE PIZZA EXCEPT THE MIDDLE! Some of the outside pieces had nothings on them at all! My pizza doesn't look like any of the pizzas that are posted. If you are thinking about trying Jets Pizza, save your money and pick a pizza shop that takes pride the quality of their pizzas! read more

Fast, convenient take out. Lots of pepperoni and nice deep dish crust. Husband liked his wings but wished they just came with ranch. Ranch and wings is sort of like fries and ketchup - you always get them together. read more

The crust is thin. Sauce is slightly sweet, but not too much. Toppings are generous. Love this pizza.

So this is the first time I've had jets pizza in the Pittsburgh area last time I've had jets pizza is when I lived down in Florida which was the first time I've ever tried Jets consistency I would say is the same everything was good staff was friendly the only thing I don't care for too much is there pizza sauce it's a little blan to me but other than was ok also had wings I tried them out at least I thought they were mild but they seemed a little spicier than mild to me read more

Maybe it's the Detroit Style pizza that i love, but Jet's exceeded all expectations with their pizza and service. The crust had a great crisp and was popping with flavor while the sauce, cheese and toppings (sausage & pep) were properly proportioned throughout. OMG. So we ordered the 8 corner pizza with sausage and pepperoni and I was in heaven. It wasn't to saucey which was amazing and the amount of toppings were perfect. The Italian sub we got was great as well but way too many tomatoes and when u order online u couldn't put no tomatoes. But all in all I will be ordering this pizza again read more

Jet's Pizza - 8 corner pizza - Pizza Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I have had Jets Pizza many times. I have tried and liked their Pan, thin crust, and gluten free pies. The pan crust is very filling and has a crispy edge. The thin crust reminds me of pizzas that I ate in Ohio (small square pieces). The gluten free pizza (my new favorite) comes in a smaller portion (a little bigger than a personal pan pizza) at 120 Calories a slice / who pizza has 6 slices). The gluten free pizza tastes good in my opinion). The price of the pizzas are in line with other delivery places I order from ~ $15-18 for a large. If you want to mix it up - give this a try. read more

8 corner deep dish! Awesome! Can't wait to have it again! I don't think it is for everybody, and thanks ok. Personally, I love a different style of pizza here and there. I was also impressed with the packaging, there is clearly extra effort there in the super sturdy bottom lined boxes. Keep it up Jets! We'll be back! read more

Hit or miss. I've had half-way decent pizza from here and pizza so lousy I should have returned it and asked for my money back. The last time I ordered from this store, one pizza was OK, but, half of the second pie was inedible because it was mounded with green olives and soaked with green olive juice. I'm not willing to roll the dice with Jet's again. read more

Jet's Pizza - I ordered half green olive. It was about 1 1/2 cups of olives. Tasted like olive with a hint of pizza. Tossed most of it in the trash. Boo. - Pizza Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Jet's pizza is different than your typical pizza found around the Pittsburgh area and honestly it is not one of my favorites. The pizza is square and the crust is very greasy. The pizza has very little sauce and a lot of cheese. My fiancé is from the other side of the state of PA and said this pizza is similar to the pizza in that area. The only thing I did enjoy from jets were the wings, we asked for the wings to be extra crispy and the sauce was pretty good. read more

I've been eating pizza in Pittsburgh for the past 31 years of my life and this was the absolute BEST PIZZA I've EVER had in the city of Pittsburgh! We just moved to Beechview and recieved a gift certificate in the mail from Jets as part of a housewarming gift from the neighborhood. First of all, that's a fantastic promotional idea. We'd probably never have tried their food otherwise, and we'd really have missed out. The pizza was fantastic - crispy edges, thick crust, good cheese and pepperoni. The staff was friendly, the place looked very clean. One little gift certificate and you guys got yourselves regular customers. I can't wait to try some of your other menu items! Thank you, Jet's Pizza! read more

This is the best of the delivery pizza companies. Really good sauce, lots of toppings, incredible bread sticks, the dipping sauce is legal crack. Very comparable to Little Caesars pan pizza. Best Pizza in Pittsburgh hands. Detroit style deep dish with a little burnt cheese on the sides.

Can't really go wrong with Jet's if you're a fan of Detroit style pizza. The 8 corner supreme is delicious and very filling. I'm usually satisfied after only two pieces.
