    Chicago! Look at the skyscrapers!

I really like JetBlue. The service is usually nice. You get snacks. The seats are very comfortable and you have legroom even on the smaller planes. If the flight is delayed, which can happen when you're talking about Chicago in the winter, they give you plenty of snacks and keep you updated.

    Well, that's helpful.

I've flown with JetBlue before and it was a nice experience but after this I will never fly with them ever again. I booked my flight with American leaving JFK and for some reason they transferred our flight to JetBlue. The only notice we got was, apparently, an announcement over the loudspeaker. No text, message on the app, info on the departure boards, nothing. Because it was in a completely different terminal, on the other side of the airport, by the time I found out they'd moved our flight I didn't have enough time to get there before the doors closed and JetBlue left with my luggage but without me. I have now been trying to get my luggage from JetBlue for two days. Their luggage office is never open, even during advertised hours, and this is the sign at the ticketing desk. I was on hold for 45 minutes before I could speak to anyone who was of any assistance with customer service (first person was completely useless and I had to speak to manager to get even the slightest advice on what to do). And what was that advice? To sit at the airport, paying for hourly parking, until someone decides to show up. I might be waiting as long as 3 hours! And this is my 2nd trip! Never again. This is not good customer service. You can't have ONE person from your company at a busy airport like O'Hare to hold down the fort?! And what's worse is when I poked my head into the neighboring airline's luggage offices to see if they knew when they usually come in, that person told me this happens all the time. That office was for Alaska airlines, btw. So Alaska airlines can have someone here to help their customers, but not JetBlue. Edited to add: Finally got my luggage back. I had to practically drag it back to my car because they snapped one of the wheels off.

Each seat w/personal tv & plenty of leg room

What do I hate hate hate about flying? 1. Paying for checked bags. 2. Unattentive/unfriendly staff. 3. Boredom for hours. 4. Cramped, uncomfortable seating. Jet Blue definitely has helped me to enjoy flying again. Your first check bag is free. FREE!! I do have to say that my friend's luggage was lost on the way back. Took 20 min to file a claim. They gave her a $30 travel credit, and her bag showed up at her door step 12 hours later. Service was awesome! Friendly staff that go above and beyond!...literally! One passenger left his cell phone at the check in counter and the captain (with security clearance and all) ran back to retrieve it! He made it back minutes before take off and we still left on time! They fed me. Unlimited complimentary snacks (anything from animal crackers to plantain chips-talk about variety!) Along with Coke products! They even offer my fav beer for purchase (Blue Moon for $6)!! They kept me busy. Each seat had a personal tv complete with XM radio stations & Direct TV channels. My hour and a half flight to NYC flew by...The Real Housewives of New York baby!!! My guilty pleasure! Oh, don't forget to bring your own headphones (they'll charge you $2). Plenty of legroom and I did enjoy the pleather seats. I actually wish that I had a longer flight!

flying high with my new favorite airline.

I am writing this review with gratitude to a representative who went above and beyond, along with his co-workers, to help make our flight happen as planned. I wanted to write this review as soon as I got back, but I have been busy until now. United Ground department, I hope Samir didn't get in trouble for spending an extensive time helping a customer. His compassionate ways have made my mom's relocation possible. I highly encourage recognition of such working ethics. Good workers make great companies. It was the weekend of May 30, 2026, flight # UA2373. My mom was a frail disabled senior over 80 years old. I came to NY to fly her to CA, as she had been requesting. The flight was long, she got very tired and became very difficult to deal with. She was walking around the area with a cane, being uncooperative with me. She found Samir Mezzi and got very comfortable with him. She only trusted him and no one else. Samir was on duty but was very willing to help her. My flight was close to departure when she refused to enter the TSA checkpoint for the security screening process. When I explained to him the situation, he didn't hesitate to help, he was very determined to successfully help us fly. After some time spent being patient with my mom, he called his colleagues to figure out some ways. They figured to team up and help us out. There were several of them, from various departments. They comforted her, were gentle and patient with her. They even bought her a soda. The TSA checkpoint was successful. The manager of United Airlines came and offered solutions to the challenging situation, of a complimentary onsite hotel stay or delay it, in wanting to help make the flight an easier and more comfortable experience. She was also very patient and genuine. We passed the TSA checkpoint and went on with proceeding to the check-in gate. I wanted to let her know of my decision, but it would be a hassle and leave my mom for a moment to come back to talk to her. So, I didn't. I hope she understands. But I did speak to her about my appreciation. Samir kindly helped my mom all the way until she was seated on the plane. He said some comforting kind words to her before he left. We appreciate everything he has done. My mom is now happy and healthier living in CA with me. Congratulations to United Ground for having such a stella worker. He well represented the department and the airline. Thank you, Samir, his coworkers, United Airline manager, United Ground, and United Airlines for making it possible. Much appreciated.

Flight was direct from Chicago to Shannon and was supposed to leave at 6pm but kept getting delayed due to mechanical issues. Fast forward over 8 hours and multiple delays they cancelled the flight. Saw the crew leaving the plane so we knew we were going to fly however they took forever to cancel it because nobody has any authority. Seems like this is normal for United to give people zero power so they can pass the buck. They had no hotel rooms in inventory so everybody had to fend for themselves. People ended up sleeping on the airport floor. I paid for a direct flight and upgraded seat and neither of them will happen when we hopefully are able to reach our destination over a day later. Thank you for giving my a fifteen dollar voucher for food so I can buy a coffee and a doughnut. Your net promoter score is a zero and if I could give zero stars I would. Customer service didn't care about any of my concerns.

It's definitely a big, busy airport lots of hustle and bustle and LOTS of people but overall, I found it pretty easy to navigate. The train station is farrr. One thing I liked was that there were plenty of food options and food courts throughout the airport. That's definitely a plus! Of course, the food was ridiculously overpriced, but hey, that's airport food for you. They could fix those prices if they wanted to but I digress. The bathrooms I used were pretty clean, which is always important. The one thing I did notice was that some of the gate areas seemed really small. Maybe it's just the way they're set up, but with so many people waiting to board, they definitely felt cramped. Overall, though, getting in, getting around, and getting out was pretty easy. For such a large and busy airport, I didn't have any major issues navigating O'Hare.

I honestly shouldn't complain as the walk from gate to gate in each direction wasn't horrendous. 5 minutes one time and 7 minutes the other time. All things considered, not bad. What's of course bad are the concourses are far too narrow/small for all of the people/staff needing to get from A to B. Expect getting checked into a wall hockey style on your way in and out of any restrooms. Lines for any food are usually nuts. Pricing is of course, not of this world and expect a lot of things will be out or take forever. 20 minutes for a basic iced coffee at Caffee Mercato at Noon on a Wednesday? Yepper. I guess it could have been worse. It could have been an International flight which would equaled a commute of miles, insane tight connections that could have only been done via Star Trek transporting or I could have left from a different origin hub which might have bypassed the need for a connection but..... This place is a necessary evil but if possible, avoid.
