    Why do we have assigned seats and no free checked baggage now? The whole point of Southwest wasn't so much the prices, it was knowing exactly the alternative format and inviting offers.

Despite several setbacks during my birthday trip to Chicago, the Spanish-speaking team at Southwest Airlines: Linda, Nataly, and Emily; showed extraordinary dedication. They focused not only on company procedures but on the well-being of the traveler, offering support, empathy, and real solutions at every moment. Thanks to them, everything was resolved in the best possible way. Today, with gratitude and relief, we're heading back to California Thank you, Southwest Airlines Spanish Team. Your commitment and human touch truly made the difference.

    Flying Southwest out of Chicago was surprisingly painless. The staff were friendly, the boarding process didn't feel like a wrestling match, and the flight was on time. Bigger overhead bin storage was a plus! Seats aren't first-class, but hey, neither is my budget, still, I survived in comfort!

    This Southwest Airlines is located in Chicago Midway International Airport. When flying out to Lombard Chicago from Las Vegas, I typically fly Southwest, non-stop, to Chicago Midway. All of my flights are typically on-time or early! This latest flight coming from Las Vegas to Midway on a Sunday, arrived 30 minutes early! The Southwest Airlines terminal is beautiful in Midway! There are so many restaurants and shops available inside the terminal! The Southwest Team at Chicago Midway are amazing too! When I check my bag at their luggage or have any questions to ask at the gate, the team members are super helpful! The boarding process is relatively easy and smooth. They call up different sections to board the plane, unlike other airlines where you choose a seat prior to paying for your ticket. A drink and snacks are offered on Southwest Airlines if the flight is long distance. I'll be flying out from Chicago Midway on Friday back to Las Vegas! I don't use any other airline to fly from Vegas to Chicago! It's a great experience!

    Chicago Frantic yet efficient. One of the most packed places for southwest. Lots of folks who were unfamiliar with the process. They were redirected which allowed folks to get boarded. Once boarded to achieve the on time departure we were placed on hold for maintenance. Always frustrating and a relative in common event. Kind folks took most of the edge off the frustration. The lady next to me offered me some tasty come. The kind gesture was accepted and smacking on the fresh gum helped with the delay. The flight was entirely full. Actually overbooked and a $1,200 voucher was offered up. If I was traveling alone I would have taken advantage of the offer. The boarding are was packed. It took some effort to grab a seat. Overall a pleasant experience. Still waiting to depart. Pilot just came on and assured we'd be wheels up shortly. I'll take his word an close out the review. If there are any changes be assured I'll be back to edit. More delays. One star deduction! lol So, this is one of the nicer planes.

    Southwest Airlines is my absolute favorite airline to flying from Las Vegas to Chicago and back to Vegas. Booking directly on the Southwest Airlines app, and it's very easy! Planes are clean, seats are comfortable. Service is great, and attentive. No other airline can beat the (2) free checked bags! I also like the no seat assignment system. Hope they are keeping it! I love the free WiFi and the onboard entertainment options. Snacks and nonalcoholic beverages are also included! Alcoholic beverages can be purchased.

    Southwest Airlines is a great way to fly! From booking to checking and flight info, this airline is my favorite. The app is easy to use, the pre-booking and no baggage fees are the best!     I can't and won't say anything but great things about Southwest as I travel exclusively with them simply for the fact that they allow 2 free checked bags & 2 free carry on bags along with an open seating policy. Always friendly staff

Leading up to our trip, we kept receiving email confirmations that everything was on time no issues at all. Then, the moment we arrived at the airport, we were blindsided with an email saying our flight was CANCELLED. No warning. No heads-up. Just canceled. The only options given were to rebook or take a refund. The earliest available rebooking wasn't until Tuesday, which completely ruined our plans, so we were forced to take a refund and book last-minute tickets with United Airlines costing us significantly more money out of pocket. We were told our baggage would be transferred to our return flight, which added to the confusion and stress. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. On our way back from Puerto Rico, we were scheduled again for a 12:29 PM flight. Throughout the day, we kept getting delay notifications one after another until the last update pushed the flight all the way to 2:59 AM. We waited, checked in, and then unbelievably the flight was CANCELLED again. At that point, there was little to no help from staff. We were told to go to the Spirit desk, leaving us scrambling around the airport, trying to figure out how to retrieve our luggage from baggage claim, rebook flights, and then go back through TSA all over again. It was chaotic, exhausting, and completely disorganized. Once again, no available flights until Monday or Tuesday. Rebooking with Spirit would have meant more delays, more uncertainty, and more money wasted with zero guarantee the flight wouldn't be canceled AGAIN. So we had no choice but to request another refund and book with United Airlines spending even more money just to get home. This entire experience was stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable with proper communication and customer support. Spirit Airlines showed zero reliability and zero accountability. Never EVER flying with Spirit again. The "cheap" price is not worth the headache, the risk, or the extra costs you'll end up paying in the end. Huge thanks to United Airlines for actually getting us home safely.

And when you could have rebooked it immediately if there was a card issue, they wait until you check in to find out it was cancelled and then REFUSE to honor the price you booked at. Zero customer service Small space Gate agents are rude, I've watched them act like children lashing out on flyers. I flew with them all year because they're cheap but when I say cheap is not worth the lack of everything else you'll experience AND status with them gets you absolutely nowhere. They promise you all of these things with status and you'll never experience those benefits.

I read several JetBlue reviews via yelp prior to this flight to help calm pre-flight jitters because I have never flown with JetBlue. I had to remind myself that I once flew with Spirit Airlines to New Orleans, Louisiana for crying out loud. And most know that Spirit does not have the best reputation. As for my airport experience, surprisingly, TSA was not crowded at all! Other than my carry-on bag being checked due to me having toothpaste check-in went smooth. At the time, I chuckled with personnel because I knew clearly what it was but leave it to hard-headed me for packing it, hehe. As for the flight gate, it took me forever to find it due to lack of signage. As mentioned, I have never flown JetBlue, so the terminal was one I had never visited. What threw me off was the fact that the only terminal 2 signage I saw was for baggage claim. Eeek! I nearly missed boarding, but I kept on moving until I found the JetBlue gate. Now as for my onboard experience, I wanted to charge my phone as I slept on flight because my phone battery was low. I found that there were no power outlets at all which left me with no other option but to preserve my battery as much as I can enroute. I have to point out that it was unpleasant smelling smoke as the plane prepared to lift off from Chicago, Illinois. It was then, I started to take notice of how outdated everything appeared on this plane as my melatonin kicked in. I slept the majority of the flight, so I had little communication with the flight attendants other than the boarding flight hello, a flight attendant asking me if I wanted a snack as I woke up briefly, and the airplane departure goodbye greeting. And as for the airplane interior, the seat comfort was decent! I did have an acceptable amount of leg room, even with my backpack underneath the seat in front of me. I did love the image of the airplane hovering over states on the seatback television which I could not help but notice while awake. In spite of what the plane did not have, it did have access to XM radio stations & Direct TV channels. I survived this flight with JetBlue and would be open to flying with again, as well as recommending to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. First time using them they hung us out to dry giving us no options within 24 hours to even get home. We lost over $1000 and they didn't do a thing to help after making us suffer for 6 hours from 1:00 in the morning to now 7:30 in the morning because they probably have 2 total (incompetent) reps. My checked bag however made it to the first flight and was sent to Syracuse airport without me. After the second missed flight I was told that I had to wait for a flight in the morning. Hellllll nooo am I staying in Chicago and paying for a hotel to comeback to this shithole again in the morning. I was never, by any rep or agent, offered compensation to stay anywhere or food. We had not eaten or had a drink due to the running and trying to get home. So in a panic and in tears I went to American Airlines as my last hope. They were able to get me on their 8:30pm flight back to Syracuse. When I got to Syracuse I could not find my bag. Mentally and physically exhausted I made the drive home (1.5 hours) and was home at 1am. Now my bag supposedly made it to the airport before I did so they are saying American Airlines is responsible for any compensation because they were MY final carrier. They never touched my bag?! How does that make sense? I bought a ticket for American after my bag had already left on YOUR aircraft! Now they are trying to tell me I have to go back to the airport to get it and won't have it delivered to my house or nearby airport?! Crazy! They have no interest in making customers happy and no one was helpful or seemed like they cared. Never again United! Never again!

I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number.
