    This is the worst airline ever, even worst than Spirit. Our flight was delayed three and a half hours. We were told no.compensation would be offered despite the fact that we had to pay an extra $100 in parking. On top of that, they wrote on my brand new suitcase with sharpie, so I am out another $300 dollars for that. Theory customer service is horrific.​

    Our gate number changed without any form of communication so the flight departed without us. I had 4 frustrating conversations with different customer service reps who could only offer flight credits as a refund or the next flight out, if I paid another $300. btw this was my first impression of Frontier. ​

    Hands down THE WORST airline experiences of my life. Frontier is an absolute mess from start to finish. We arrived at the airport having already paid for a bundle that included carry-on and luggage, but before the staff even bothered to scan my ID, check my ticket, or look at my bundle, they immediately started giving us wrong information and trying to charge us more money. They claimed our bag was overweight at 47 pounds, and only then told us--after the fact--that Frontier's baggage limit is 40 pounds instead of the standard 50 that literally every other airline uses. This was our first time flying Frontier and definitely our last. My friend flew in from Canada and I live in the U.S., and neither of us has ever dealt with such a ridiculous and poorly communicated policy. The customer service is absolute garbage. The staff were rude, dismissive, had zero empathy, and talked to customers with complete disrespect. They were more interested in forcing extra charges than actually helping anyone. Everyone at the counter was visibly unhappy--it clearly wasn't just us. On top of all that, the flight was delayed over 3 hours, and they kept delaying it little by little with no clear communication. Just constant waiting, confusion, and frustration. This airline is a waste of money, poorly run, and treats customers terribly. Hidden fees, misleading policies, incompetent staff, nonstop delays--nothing about this experience was acceptable. Extremely disappointing. Never again. To make it even worse, they boarded us and then kept everyone trapped on the airplane for over an hour with no explanation. It was hot, uncomfortable, and incredibly frustrating. No air, no updates, no concern for passengers at all. Just another example of how little Frontier cares about customer experience.

    Delayed flight

    Waited 2.5 hours in Dominican Republic to check my bags. Showed up to the airport 4 hours early, worked my way through a long line, and they started taking people who showed up late in front of me because their flight was boarding within the hour. Why show up early? Our flight was then delayed almost 2 hours. While waiting for our flight, I was notified that our connecting flight was cancelled, leaving my gf and I stranded in a city a 13 hour drive away from home. They had one person working the desk to sort this out for 50+ people. Growing frustrated, we decided to book a flight and hotel ourselves. The service rep was still working with the first customer when we left a half hour later. I contacted Frontier at the airport and requested a refund, they said they'd process my request. After getting to the hotel, I was notified that I was rebooked for a flight 2 days after my initial flight, at 5:30am. Completely unacceptable. I had to contact them again letting them know that I had already requested a refund and that I did not plan to fly with them on the flight they booked for me without my approval. They offered my gf a $100 travel voucher for our troubles, not me though. I would rather walk and swim than take this airline again. The absolute worst airline and customer service I have ever experienced.

    Oh my Lord. Someone took me on a trip and let me tell ya..... $100 because the bags 10lb over. $45 print ticket at the counter. App doesn't work. The most attitude from anyone at both airports (must be apart of their training). ZERO customer service. honestly, stay home or book on American Airlines.

    I get it's a ULCC AKA cheap airline. With hidden fees for bags and seat cost with NO WiFi service at all, nor are the seat comfortable or size forgiving. But could they at least have clean flyers in the back of their seats! Not to meaning 85% of the employees in their cell phones at the gate and flight attendants not very friendly.

    I'll never use them again. $79 for my carry-on bag and then no wi-fi. Had i known this i would have used a different airline.

    We've flown with United for the last 15+ years, and simply put, we're done with them…read more.. Over the last 3+ years, United has become as reliable as screen door on a submarine... Maintenance issues, frequent delays, cancellations, baggage issues, unhelpful customer service, the list goes on. Even their frequent flier program which has been award winning in years past and easy to use has become a spectacle in and of itself (United has really limited award options and miles needed to book has nearly doubled). Aside from all that, the straw that broke the camel's back is our travel today. Yet again, we're in Chicago O'Hare which is the equivalent of the Cleveland Browns of airports (btw, I'm a lifelong CLE fan) and we're delayed with a maintenance issues... United has deplaned us, swapped planes, the new plane is apparently broken now, and there's zero information or updates. The United app is not updated with correct or real-time information and flight agents have no details as well... This is beyond unacceptable and by no way justifiable. We travel a lot and we understand this kind of stuff is part of air travel, but the lack of transparency and useful information is ridiculous. We never have these types of repeated issues with Delta, which tells me this is not a commonality amongst airlines... Rather it's just the same usual United dysfunction that habitually occurs. I really hope *someone in a strategic-level leadership position at United sees this review because a drastic undertaking is clearly needed with the company.

My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again.

Southwest is like the other airlines now. I've also noticed the customer service whether over the phone or in person has gone downhill drastically. Leading up to our trip, we kept receiving email confirmations that everything was on time no issues at all. Then, the moment we arrived at the airport, we were blindsided with an email saying our flight was CANCELLED. No warning. No heads-up. Just canceled. The only options given were to rebook or take a refund. The earliest available rebooking wasn't until Tuesday, which completely ruined our plans, so we were forced to take a refund and book last-minute tickets with United Airlines costing us significantly more money out of pocket. We were told our baggage would be transferred to our return flight, which added to the confusion and stress. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. On our way back from Puerto Rico, we were scheduled again for a 12:29 PM flight. Throughout the day, we kept getting delay notifications one after another until the last update pushed the flight all the way to 2:59 AM. We waited, checked in, and then unbelievably the flight was CANCELLED again. At that point, there was little to no help from staff. We were told to go to the Spirit desk, leaving us scrambling around the airport, trying to figure out how to retrieve our luggage from baggage claim, rebook flights, and then go back through TSA all over again. It was chaotic, exhausting, and completely disorganized. Once again, no available flights until Monday or Tuesday. Rebooking with Spirit would have meant more delays, more uncertainty, and more money wasted with zero guarantee the flight wouldn't be canceled AGAIN. So we had no choice but to request another refund and book with United Airlines spending even more money just to get home. This entire experience was stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable with proper communication and customer support. Spirit Airlines showed zero reliability and zero accountability. Never EVER flying with Spirit again. The "cheap" price is not worth the headache, the risk, or the extra costs you'll end up paying in the end. Huge thanks to United Airlines for actually getting us home safely.

I…read moreflew from Charleston to Chicago with no issues... until we landed and sat on the tarmac for nearly two hours because our gate was taken. That delay caused me to miss my connection to Los Angeles. Without asking or notifying me, American rebooked me on a flight going back in the direction I came from, only to put me on another flight the next morning. On top of that, I had originally paid for a window seat in row 12 -- yet I was reassigned to a middle seat in the very back of the plane next to the toilets. And the customer service? One rep put me on hold and never came back. The next basically told me to "deal with it" before doing the exact same thing. For an airline with "American" in the name, this experience was anything but representative of the best of America. Do better, I would give you a zero but I'm being kind.

I read several JetBlue reviews via yelp prior to this flight to help calm pre-flight jitters because I have never flown with JetBlue. I had to remind myself that I once flew with Spirit Airlines to New Orleans, Louisiana for crying out loud. And most know that Spirit does not have the best reputation. As for my airport experience, surprisingly, TSA was not crowded at all! Other than my carry-on bag being checked due to me having toothpaste check-in went smooth. At the time, I chuckled with personnel because I knew clearly what it was but leave it to hard-headed me for packing it, hehe. As for the flight gate, it took me forever to find it due to lack of signage. As mentioned, I have never flown JetBlue, so the terminal was one I had never visited. What threw me off was the fact that the only terminal 2 signage I saw was for baggage claim. Eeek! I nearly missed boarding, but I kept on moving until I found the JetBlue gate. Now as for my onboard experience, I wanted to charge my phone as I slept on flight because my phone battery was low. I found that there were no power outlets at all which left me with no other option but to preserve my battery as much as I can enroute. I have to point out that it was unpleasant smelling smoke as the plane prepared to lift off from Chicago, Illinois. It was then, I started to take notice of how outdated everything appeared on this plane as my melatonin kicked in. I slept the majority of the flight, so I had little communication with the flight attendants other than the boarding flight hello, a flight attendant asking me if I wanted a snack as I woke up briefly, and the airplane departure goodbye greeting. And as for the airplane interior, the seat comfort was decent! I did have an acceptable amount of leg room, even with my backpack underneath the seat in front of me. I did love the image of the airplane hovering over states on the seatback television which I could not help but notice while awake. In spite of what the plane did not have, it did have access to XM radio stations & Direct TV channels. I survived this flight with JetBlue and would be open to flying with again, as well as recommending to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. We lost over $1000 and they didn't do a thing to help after making us suffer for 6 hours from 1:00 in the morning to now 7:30 in the morning because they probably have 2 total (incompetent) reps. Hellllll nooo am I staying in Chicago and paying for a hotel to comeback to this shithole again in the morning. I was never, by any rep or agent, offered compensation to stay anywhere or food. We had not eaten or had a drink due to the running and trying to get home. So in a panic and in tears I went to American Airlines as my last hope. They were able to get me on their 8:30pm flight back to Syracuse. When I got to Syracuse I could not find my bag. Mentally and physically exhausted I made the drive home (1.5 hours) and was home at 1am. Now my bag supposedly made it to the airport before I did so they are saying American Airlines is responsible for any compensation because they were MY final carrier. They never touched my bag?! How does that make sense? I bought a ticket for American after my bag had already left on YOUR aircraft! Now they are trying to tell me I have to go back to the airport to get it and won't have it delivered to my house or nearby airport?! Crazy! They have no interest in making customers happy and no one was helpful or seemed like they cared. Never again United! Never again!

    Everything , they are the worst airline I've ever been on. We flew into Chicago and they may just…read morewait on the tarmac for 45 minutes to an hour. So we missed our flight going first class from Chicago to San Antonio. Then I was unable to get anybody to help me none of the gate agents could do anything I called for a supervisor. Finally, when the supervisor got there he wanted me to fly the next day. I said no I need to get out tonight and I understand there is a flight out 9 o'clock on American reluctantly he got me tickets on the American flight. I will never fly United again
