    Been here at Chicago O Hare airport with my wife and son since 3pm. Our flight got delayed and now we missed our connecting flight to Phoenix-Ont CA. Do not even bother asking assistance from their customer service. They gave us a flight to LAX now with another delayed flight. That means we will be here at O Hare for 5 hours with no guarantee of actually being able to board. Aside from paying extra to land at Ontario CA airport now we have to take an Uber from LAX to Ontario that means another 1-2 hour drive plus paying $150 Uber fee. AA Customer Service did not even offer any assistance for a shuttle. I'll never fly AA again.

    I had a connecting flight out of the Chicago O'Hare airport. I was in a larger plane before. This one is slightly smaller and older. Chicago seemed a little busier than usual. We were in and seated on time. We were in line waiting for traffic to clear so we could taxi out. That was about ten minutes it seemed. The seat was comfortable. The cargo storage above was a lot smaller on this plane. I was thankful for the two seats instead of the three seats! If you have to get up, it's much easier to!! There's a plug in to charge your phone/laptop top. Overall, another pleasant flight. The flight staff were all very friendly and helpful. We also received refreshments on this flight. Full sized Coke and cookies. I will use this airline, again. So far, flights were on time. I'm still a little unsure of their luggage policies when booking flights and such. However, thankfully, I am a small carryon packer!!

    AA is a good standard airline and if you don't pay Basic fares you can change flights anytime. The good thing about AA at Ohare in IL is that there are many flights to and from major cities like NYC LGA to ORD Chicago. There are typically 8-10 flights a day so if you miss one you standby or switch for the next.

    Discriminatory Treatment of Disabled Veteran on Flight - Poor Handling of PTSD Accommodations I recently flew with American Airlines and had a deeply disappointing experience that highlighted a lack of understanding and empathy for passengers with disabilities, particularly veterans like myself who are 100% disabled due to service-related PTSD and anxiety. As someone who relies on augmented reality glasses to manage severe anxiety during takeoff and landing--these glasses provide calming visual and auditory cues without impeding my ability to see or hear safety instructions or surroundings--I was shocked when a flight attendant insisted I remove them, claiming they "could hinder" me preventing me from seeing or hearing? Nothing was on my ears and I could see just fine! This was not only incorrect but also showed a complete naivety about assistive devices for mental health disabilities. The attendant failed to examine the situation properly or show any understanding of how such tools help veterans cope with triggers like the stress of flying. Instead of accommodating a reasonable need, they dismissed it outright, exacerbating my anxiety and making the flight unnecessarily traumatic. American Airlines needs to train their staff better on customer service, especially when dealing with disabled passengers and those with PTSD. I was allready told by AA that i was able to This attendant's lack of empathy and knowledge made me feel undervalued and disrespected as a veteran. If they can't handle these situations with compassion, perhaps they should consider a different line of work.maybe it was the US Army Veteran or Hat I was wearing that triggered the attendant. I won't be flying AA again until they address these issues. 1 star - avoid if you have any disabilities requiring accommodations.

    My experience is flying with American Airlines as my go to carrier when I'm traveling to different parts of the country is always a great experience. When flying through O'Hare airport, the lounge is easily accessible and provides both an admirals club lounge experience and also provides a flagship lounge for those passengers who are traveling international and what they first class ticket. They have a full bar and provide a vast array of snacks and food.

    I had an awful experience with American Airlines on my flight home from Kansas City International AirPort. The bad experience I had was Sunday - to start, my flight was delayed over 7 times in the same day without any reason given - there was no bad weather in either city - I thought it was going to be cancelled but thankfully it wasn't. The only solution they had was take a flight free of charge the next day - totally inconvenient. When I finally arrived to the final new scheduled departure time at the airport, we didn't even take off for an additional 30 minutes after the newly scheduled departure time. Then, while in flight - no complimentary drinks or snacks were even offered which were supposed to be offered, but forget us, right? And finally, when we landed in Chicago, our flight was circling on the runway for an additional 1 hour because of all the delays they didn't have a gate prepared for the flight to park at. When I finally got home, I called customer service to complain and there was over 1 hour wait time just to speak to someone - so they referred me to their complaint form site. I described this exact experience and all I received was an auto generated apology. Really disappointing experience with American Airlines, they definitely don't value your business or time - this is an experience I'd say is to be expected from Spirit or Frontier Airlines, but definitely not American who is usually good. Also - there is nothing the customer service phone number can do for you - you can only file complaint forms online nothing over the phone.

Maintenance issues, frequent delays, cancellations, baggage issues, unhelpful customer service, the list goes on. Even their frequent flier program which has been award winning in years past and easy to use has become a spectacle in and of itself (United has really limited award options and miles needed to book has nearly doubled). Aside from all that, the straw that broke the camel's back is our travel today. Yet again, we're in Chicago O'Hare which is the equivalent of the Cleveland Browns of airports (btw, I'm a lifelong CLE fan) and we're delayed with a maintenance issues... United has deplaned us, swapped planes, the new plane is apparently broken now, and there's zero information or updates. The United app is not updated with correct or real-time information and flight agents have no details as well... This is beyond unacceptable and by no way justifiable. We travel a lot and we understand this kind of stuff is part of air travel, but the lack of transparency and useful information is ridiculous. We never have these types of repeated issues with Delta, which tells me this is not a commonality amongst airlines... Rather it's just the same usual United dysfunction that habitually occurs. I really hope *someone in a strategic-level leadership position at United sees this review because a drastic undertaking is clearly needed with the company.

We originally booked a flight with…read moreSpirit Airlines for March 21 at 12:29 PM, departing from Chicago to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Leading up to our trip, we kept receiving email confirmations that everything was on time no issues at all. Then, the moment we arrived at the airport, we were blindsided with an email saying our flight was CANCELLED. No warning. No heads-up. Just canceled. The only options given were to rebook or take a refund. The earliest available rebooking wasn't until Tuesday, which completely ruined our plans, so we were forced to take a refund and book last-minute tickets with United Airlines costing us significantly more money out of pocket. We were told our baggage would be transferred to our return flight, which added to the confusion and stress. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. On our way back from Puerto Rico, we were scheduled again for a 12:29 PM flight. Throughout the day, we kept getting delay notifications one after another until the last update pushed the flight all the way to 2:59 AM. We waited, checked in, and then unbelievably the flight was CANCELLED again. At that point, there was little to no help from staff. We were told to go to the Spirit desk, leaving us scrambling around the airport, trying to figure out how to retrieve our luggage from baggage claim, rebook flights, and then go back through TSA all over again. It was chaotic, exhausting, and completely disorganized. Once again, no available flights until Monday or Tuesday. Rebooking with Spirit would have meant more delays, more uncertainty, and more money wasted with zero guarantee the flight wouldn't be canceled AGAIN. So we had no choice but to request another refund and book with United Airlines spending even more money just to get home. This entire experience was stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable with proper communication and customer support. Spirit Airlines showed zero reliability and zero accountability. Never EVER flying with Spirit again. The "cheap" price is not worth the headache, the risk, or the extra costs you'll end up paying in the end. Huge thanks to United Airlines for actually getting us home safely.

As someone who had just a carry-on bag with me, the application allowed me to check-in early and head straight to TSA rather than having to see a JetBlue agent. I read several JetBlue reviews via yelp prior to this flight to help calm pre-flight jitters because I have never flown with JetBlue. I had to remind myself that I once flew with Spirit Airlines to New Orleans, Louisiana for crying out loud. And most know that Spirit does not have the best reputation. As for my airport experience, surprisingly, TSA was not crowded at all! Other than my carry-on bag being checked due to me having toothpaste check-in went smooth. At the time, I chuckled with personnel because I knew clearly what it was but leave it to hard-headed me for packing it, hehe. As for the flight gate, it took me forever to find it due to lack of signage. As mentioned, I have never flown JetBlue, so the terminal was one I had never visited. What threw me off was the fact that the only terminal 2 signage I saw was for baggage claim. Eeek! I nearly missed boarding, but I kept on moving until I found the JetBlue gate. Now as for my onboard experience, I wanted to charge my phone as I slept on flight because my phone battery was low. I found that there were no power outlets at all which left me with no other option but to preserve my battery as much as I can enroute. I have to point out that it was unpleasant smelling smoke as the plane prepared to lift off from Chicago, Illinois. It was then, I started to take notice of how outdated everything appeared on this plane as my melatonin kicked in. I slept the majority of the flight, so I had little communication with the flight attendants other than the boarding flight hello, a flight attendant asking me if I wanted a snack as I woke up briefly, and the airplane departure goodbye greeting. And as for the airplane interior, the seat comfort was decent! I did have an acceptable amount of leg room, even with my backpack underneath the seat in front of me. I did love the image of the airplane hovering over states on the seatback television which I could not help but notice while awake. In spite of what the plane did not have, it did have access to XM radio stations & Direct TV channels. I survived this flight with JetBlue and would be open to flying with again, as well as recommending to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. First time using them they hung us out to dry giving us no options within 24 hours to even get home. We lost over $1000 and they didn't do a thing to help after making us suffer for 6 hours from 1:00 in the morning to now 7:30 in the morning because they probably have 2 total (incompetent) reps. Hellllll nooo am I staying in Chicago and paying for a hotel to comeback to this shithole again in the morning. I was never, by any rep or agent, offered compensation to stay anywhere or food. We had not eaten or had a drink due to the running and trying to get home. So in a panic and in tears I went to American Airlines as my last hope. They were able to get me on their 8:30pm flight back to Syracuse. When I got to Syracuse I could not find my bag. Mentally and physically exhausted I made the drive home (1.5 hours) and was home at 1am. Now my bag supposedly made it to the airport before I did so they are saying American Airlines is responsible for any compensation because they were MY final carrier. They never touched my bag?! How does that make sense? I bought a ticket for American after my bag had already left on YOUR aircraft! Now they are trying to tell me I have to go back to the airport to get it and won't have it delivered to my house or nearby airport?! Crazy! They have no interest in making customers happy and no one was helpful or seemed like they cared. Never again United! Never again!

Pretty spacious area with wifi and all the corporate amenities you can expect. Nice seating areas with local and national news on. Friendly receptionists and about a million meeting rooms of every size imaginable. Clean restrooms and ample outlets for charging any devices mid meeting. Training for flight ops, inflight, ramp, customer service and gate agents. As well as training courses moving forward with new products and platforms. BIG things are happening here. Some parking out front and around the nearby buildings. If you're here for a meeting or training they'll fill you in on Uber/Taxi/Lyft drop off and pick up specifics. Otherwise it's United and United partners ONLY. Fly the Friendly Skies!
