I have been going to Jerseys since the early 90's when I was attending Cal State. It was the absolute best pizza ever. New owners bought it a few months ago and the pizza is not the same. Today our pizza had different cheese. It used to be freshly grated mozzarella. The cheese today was yellow and not melted all the way. Pretty sure it was bagged cheese. The sauce seems different too. Like it's out of a can. I'm so disappointed. Jerseys was our go to pizza place. Hopefully they'll go back to the original recipe. Their new hours are terrible too. read more

Today, I ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza for delivery and requested that the pizza be covered in mushrooms so that no pepperoni was showing and the guy on the phone confirmed that would be done by going with TRIPLE MUSHROOMS and I said "whatever it takes" and to go ahead and do it. I was charged for the extra mushrooms but when I opened the box all it had was the standard single topping amount of mushrooms (I know this because I have ordered it that way in the past). SEE PHOTO below from today for what flies for TRIPLE MUSHROOMS....just pathetic! To make matters worse I tried calling back 6 times but each time they hung up on me before any words could be said. Finally, on the 7th try, I got a hold of someone and they refused to fix their mistake and send out another pizza or offer me a refund. The best they could offer was a discount on a future order as if there was even going to be a next time ! ! ! I have nothing against a place ran by teenagers but it seemed like they were too busy chatting with each other than to make my order. I waited an hour for my food and when they forgot my salad, the cashier went back to remind them and I waited additional ten minutes because he was busy talking. The place was an absolute mess with no customers so it didn't make sense why I waited so long for my order. It felt a little degrading and a little racist because of my skin color. Such a huge disappoint especially on Mother's Day. We ordered 2 large pizzas didn't take pics because I was too busy trying to make them edible for family dinner. I Had to cut the pizza and cook it myself - it was soggy and undercooked with paper stuck to the bottom of most pieces. Toppings are poor quality - so different than they used to be- jarred crushed Garlic ? Big stringy rings of onions - meat eaters said the sausage was flavorless. No one ate the pizza it ended up in the trash. $70 dollars down the drain - the price would be fine if the pizza was edible - the app said it was ready but when I arrived it was another few minutes - not the end of the world but another negative to a disappointing dinner - I hope the owners will consider improving it but we won't be back until we hear and see positive reviews with pictures. read more

Jerseys is a no nonsense pizza shop. You are going to get thick crust, super cheesy, and a dense crust. The ingredients are fresh and the sauce is made on site. It's real good pizza. They will also make you a thin crust pizza if that's what you prefer. It's small, can be loud, and they have a small bar. Pizza is a little pricey, but what isn't nowadays? Hadn't been to Jersey's in about 6 months due to several poor experiences. However, we read recently about a change in ownership so we decided to try it again. The pizza was MUCH better. We asked for the crust to be medium brown and it was perfectly cooked for us. They were busy so the pizza took a few extra minutes but it was well worth the wait! This place is very nostalgic for me and it is why I love coming here. My parents met here and I grew up eating here. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is one of a kind. The amount of toppings and the amount of cheese is to die for! The vegetable ziti is very yummy and great quality veggies and basil. Our mother is Italian, 1st generation in the US. She has always cooked and it's always been excellent. we have never gone out for Italian. she's now in her late 80's, and she is letting us bring her a couple of dinners a week. Friday we brought her a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms from Jersey's and a salad. She loved it!!! She has requested her pizza always come from here, and she said the salad was excellent! So disappointing. New to Redlands area and thought we'd try this place out. Ordered a cheese pizza for delivery and they said it would be 45 min (no problem!) I stepped out into my back yard for about 20 min, then came in and was excitedly waiting for my pizza. About ten min later I get a call saying they had already been by to deliver the pizza but I wasn't home. (What??) I was so shocked because A. I had been home. B. Not sure how in under 30 min they were able to bake our pizza, drive out to deliver our pizza and then drive back to return our pizza to their restaurant. Especially since they had told us it would be at least 45 minutes before they would arrive. C. Why didn't the driver just call to say he was there?? So they said they would send someone out right away. And another 20 min goes by and a driver finally shows up (who was very nice) and then we finally get to the pizza and...oh no no no no. It looked like ten pounds of undercooked cheese just coagulated on top of the pizza. It was so gross looking. I tried to pull a piece out and literally ALL the cheese started coming off the pizza in one big clump. Got a knife and tried to cut through the cheese but it was like cutting through plastic! We were all like, what is happening here?? Lol. Finally got a piece loose and the pizza was just thick, soggy, bland crust with a brick of congealed cheese on top and a zero in the flavor department. So bummed. And not even any parm or red pepper flakes included. Maybe their other food is better, but we definitely won't be trying their pizza again. read more

I am very disappointed because usually when you eat pizza it's never really bad, because you can't really go wrong with Pizza. Now in this case you can. I don't usually mind chunky sauce in my pasta, but not in my Pizza. We're talking huge chunks of tomato. The sauce didn't have much flavor and wasn't just overly saucy ( don't get me wrong I like a lot of sauce ) but not a lot of dry sauce with huge chunks of tomato too in my pizza!
