Such a wonderful little shop in Redlands! This curious little spot is the home to some of the best pizza in town. We did have to wait a pretty long time for the raviolis and pizza BUT it was so worth it. Their pizza was so good! Raviolis were requested with an Alfredo sauce and the extra buttery bread it came with was to die for! Parking is rough but it you don't mind the walk this is the perfect little spot. Well I used to love this place but new ownership is unprofessional & inconsistent. The website says open at 11:30; I show up at 12 and a cheap unprofessional cardboard sign is taped in the window saying they open at 4pm. So after driving 45 minutes I will not be back to this place. I am so impressed with the flavors of my Pesto + mushroom + green pepper pizza. It was DELICIOUS!!! Now keep in mind this place is pretty pricey. A SMALL pizza w/ 2 toppings + small soda cost me $20! (they also don't offer free refills on any drinks..even fountain soda cup -that's half ice- which I think is a bit ridiculous-hence the minus 0.5 star) But for the food itself, at least the pesto pizza, FIVE STARS!!!! (Note: if you're eating alone, the small pizza can give you about 2 meals because the slices are thick Vs the mini pizza which you'll likely finish on the spot. So if you want to take pizza leftovers home, consider the small+) The ambiance is very "moody, family bar" lol which sounds kinda strange but that's the best way I can describe it. Patrons of all ages were seated within the restaurant. There were also a lot of "regulars" who the workers could call by name, so that speaks volumes in and of itself. The workers themselves (though few) are very friendly! If you're starving and want your food within 5-10 mins, this may not be the spot for you. Because due to limited workers + everything being made on the spot- It takes quite a bit of time to get your food (which makes the no free refills even more unfortunate because likely you'd have finished the drink they gave you, before your pizza ever arrives) BUT if you're willing to wait, it is WORTH IT! This is the second time in about two weeks my family has ordered pizza under the new ownership of this Redlands staple. Their pizza is as good as ever. We always order two pizzas and half order of the cheese bread w/marinara sauce. They make a special pizza just for my son with Alfredo sauce and chicken since he is not able to eat marinara sauce due to dietary limitations. The staff is polite and courteous and willing to do what ever it takes to make your dining or takeout experience the most pleasurable they can. How can you go wrong with pizza on a busy and cold evening? So we ordered Jersey Pizza. This evening we had the Pepperoni with Linguica sausage. This is a thinner crust pie. The sauce is tangy. The pepperoni is savory and good salty. The Linguica is milder than Italian sausage, yet still is flavorful. While the pic is a bit dark, the pie wasn't burnt or over cooked. The Zita pasta was okay. This is veggies and pasta with olive oil. The veggies were fresh. We added more olive oil which helped in texture and flavor. read more

We've been hesitant to go with ownership changes but went when we traditionally go after certain activities. We went in October and felt it tasted different but thought maybe it was just an off day. Then went again this month to give them another try now I regret my choice as it was a waste of money. we called in our order and was told 30-35 minutes. it took an hour so my husband was there an extra 30 minutes. He brought the food home to realize half of it was burnt and also gave us only garlic bread Vs garlic cheese bread I ordered. My kids starving we werent going to take it back to wait another hour. so we cut off burnt pieces to try and salvage the pizza. I tried calling the next day because they were so busy and we were so hungry I didn't feel like waiting longer. they told me I couldn't do anything even though I had photos. I've always loved Jersey's Pizza, but when loading a Jersey's Special pizza with olives to cover up the lack of sausage doesn't score points. I practically needed a magnifying glass to see the linguica sausage that is supposed to be primary ingredient. Please stop being so stingy on the primary ingredient. Not sure what happened. This was the favorite pizza place in Redlands. Yesterday I picked up two pies. The pizzas were cooked but the cheese was like plastic. Possibly a lower quality cheese. It wasn't melted and remained shredded even after putting it back into the oven at home to try and get the cheese to melt. The texture & taste of the cheese was horrible. When we called about the pizzas, they said they think they may have gotten a bad batch of cheese and said they have gotten calls all day about it. Why continue to use the cheese? It's self seating where you order at the counter and there is no hostess or menu, so you better know how it works and what they offer from word of mouth and their online menu (which is outdated as of December '22). Where the customer service severely lacks it makes up for in their pizza. We got 3 lunch specials which consists of a mini 2 topping pizza, salad, and soda all together for $25 for 3 people, so it's a great deal as the pizza is delicious and filling. Would I return? Yes. While the new owners have thankfully maintained the same great food as the previous owner, the quality of service continues to fall short. We recently ordered a pizza for carry-out and were told it would be ready in 30-35 minutes. However, when we arrived, the pizza wasn't ready--and we ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've encountered poor service at Jersey's. It's been the one consistent issue since the new owners assumed responsibility for the restaurant. I have been going to Jerseys since the early 90's when I was attending Cal State. It was the absolute best pizza ever. New owners bought it a few months ago and the pizza is not the same. Today our pizza had different cheese. It used to be freshly grated mozzarella. The cheese today was yellow and not melted all the way. Pretty sure it was bagged cheese. The sauce seems different too.
