I am so lucky to have JM's in my new hometown of Louisville, but I still get so happy when I'm visiting my mom and she says "Want to keep it simple for lunch today?" and she means... "Are we getting subs from Jersey Mike's." This location has consistently good tuna. I know that sounds like a minor detail, but it's important! And wow, how good is the soda! Both times I've gotten a sub here I've had food poisoning. And for reference I have zero issue eating street food in INDIA but am fighting for my life after a Jersey mikes veggie sub. Nastiest location, do not go here. Staff is very nice but sanitation is clearly lacking. read more

Jersey Shore version of blimpie except a million times better! Dropped by here after catching a glimpse of it on a Travel Channel show (it was either Travel Channel or Food Network, I forget). I am a huge fan of sandwiches; they are great at anytime. Nothing too complicated about this place; you order, you get what you order and they are very generous with the amount of meat and cheese on the sandwich. I've been to many Jersey Mike's in California and I'm a big fan, in fact I have a lot of points built up. Solana Beach, El Segundo, Monrovia, doesn't matter. I stopped by this spot yesterday around 8:00, sign said open til 9:00. No sooner had I opened the door but some jerk screams at me "we're closed!" and more than once, I had a mask on, I just walked out the door without saying a word. But you know something? Love this place- def. one of my favorite sandwich spots by the Shore! Staff is friendly and professional, order is always correct and food is delicious. This location does get busy at lunchtime (sometime line stretches all the way to the bathrooms) so order online if you're going around this time. Seating is a bit cramped at times, more so during busy lunch periods but staff and environment make up for it. Overall, no complaints- this store is awesome! read more

We stopped by to get subs. Ordered an Italian with 4 meets and provolone. The staff is really nice and the line moves fast. I loved their hot crushed pepper topping. Not too spicy but flavorful. Some of the best subs we've had. They offer 3 sizes: mini, regular and giant. Regular is a half a sub and most range between 8-9 dollars. The tuna is made fresh daily and you have the option of substituting a meat for another. ie: ham for pepperoni etc. will def be stopping by again before the beach. Jersey Mike's hasn't been my favorite place to go because I'm not big on subs. I've been there a few times on my own and it went alright. My family used to get it all of the time but two times in a row we had a bunch of hair in our food. It wasn't just one sub but everyone's and we were very unsatisfied. Once it happened the second time right after the first, we haven't ordered there since. I'm not really sure how that much hair (which I'm assuming was beard hair) could've gotten in everyone's food. read more

We ordered a regular club sub mikes way with mayo- the sandwich was not up to jersey mikes standards- which we are familiar with- all ingredients were skimpy and the total came to $13.89 after a fountain soda and two small bags of chips - but they didn't have change so he charged us $14. Plus the woman in front of us got a giant sub and was discussing her sob story with the guys behind the counter and was only charged $7. The workers were more interested in watching the woman have her pit bulls hump at the door for them and gawk at her and her car than wait on customers.
