Five stars to the gentleman that remade an elderly woman's sandwich because she was upset it was cut in half and they didn't ask her first. She was really upset and the worker handled it with kindness and grace. Maybe she was having a bad day or it was just the irritation that comes with age or dementia. I come to this location all the time as it's right next to work. I usually have a great experience but today was just awful. I walked in and I was literally the only person in there, I order my stuff and move to the register, the cashier makes it the most complicated purchase I have ever made. I still don't understand what he did exactly, he had to refund me twice for some reason, it was just super annoying, and then I go get Diet Pepsi and it's straight water. Fast, friendly service here at Jersey Mikes. I would recommend using the JM app to place your order so you have the details of each sandwich ordered. The best value is the giant sandwich cut into 4 pieces so you can share. These sandwiches cost $16.25 which is not bad. They use very fresh ingredients here. If you plan to not eat your sandwich with 10-15 minutes, I would avoid the Oil and Vinegar since it will made the bread very soggy. Very good sandwiches though. read more

The Jersey Mikes Philly Cheesesteak is the closest thing in CA to Pats. #13 Mike's way is also as good as "home cooking". I don't understand the complaints about subs missing requested ingredients. You can watch them make your sandwich, right in front of you! If you don't like what you see, say something and they'll fix it. read more

The manager and employees at the Palm Desert Jersey Mike's were very gracious and were able to make my sandwich for me even though I had ordered it at the wrong Jersey Mike's. Went into today for a quick lunch. It was busy, so understandable wait. I ordered my sandwich and asked for bread to be scooped out. I had to remind them. The person who cuts the meat did so but confused the 'order' and the person who adds the toppings started to dress the wrong sandwich. I reminded them. Then when adding the top, started to put the wrong top on. I reminded them. Exhausting and frustrating. You've got to watch them closely. Then sandwich was about to be cut and the previous ham & cheese remnants remained on the knife and I had to remind them to rinse the knife. Then register person was busy ringing up a telephone order and seemed a bit confused overall. Food is OK, at least fresh although I never get lettuce as I don't find it appealing. Jersey mikes always delivers a good overall experience- prompt courteous service with very consistent sandwiches. Today however, I noticed something that really bothered me. Two things actually. 1- the restroom key sits on top of a counter next to food prep. (Was actually on top of a deli food wrapper dispenser box. This is gross and there is no excuse for this. My daughter is obsessed with the #43, Chipotle Cheesesteak in a tub. We're in town for the weekend and she was happy there was a Jersey Mike's nearby. First, it was hard to find, in the Desert Crossing shopping center. Luckily once we did find it, it was easy to park. I ordered the tub and paid. This location does not accept cash. I heard the cashier tell another customer that the cash register drawer is jammed, and that the owners did not want to spend the money to fix it. It was near the end of the day and the store was dirty. The plastic wrapped utensils had what looked like dried soda spilled on them, and the counters and tables were dirty. It was not busy. The kicker - we got home with the tub and there was no chipotle sauce. Fail! read more

I can't say enough about Kristen and her staff at this location. I have a team of 30+ associates at my work and for holiday we like to pick up lunch boxes for the team. Today there was a miscommunication where 27 lunch boxes was accidentally made into 27 catering boxes (10 subs in each box). It was a simple mistake that turned into an ordeal for Kristen the manager. She went to 3 different stores to fill the order racing as fast as she could. When the mistake was discovered, she kept calm and professional. This is the first time I've been at this location because I usually go the Dinah Shore location. I have the say the service is exceptional, and I love their sandwiches. Both locations are consistent in the quality of service and quality of their sandwiches. I've probably been to Jersey Mikes now about 7 times and i have not been disappointed. The associates greet you as you come in the door and check in with you on how your day is going. Now that's an experience that you don't get everywhere. This location is definitely not a "shore" thing and can't be trusted! The Shore points system and their POS system are a joke and not dependable. The Shore points system crashed mid transaction on me 3 weeks ago and wiped out my Shore Points, (I had almost 100 points). I went in tonight and the shore points system and POS was an issue once again and I found out that the previous attempts had actually deducted points for the sandwich I purchased! The team working appologized but said there was nothing they could do and confirmed the system has been an issue since November.... Needless to say, I left without paying and my meal. Decent amount of main meat extras are barely 3 thin slices on a regular 2$ for 3 tiny slices. Booooo 3. Staff is pleasant but just going through the motions. There were 4 it then just to make a sandwich 4. Bread is mediocre and salty (maybe off day?) 5. Meat is just low quality cheese too but good taste 6. Veggies are nice and fresh 7. For the price you could very easily go to a small mom and pop shop of higher quality. 8. Overall good for quick good choices or kids lots of drink choices I am very doubtful I'll ever go to a Jersey Mike's again. It was clean.
