Rarely do I go to McDonalds twice in a month, but today I went twice. For breakfast I got a sausage biscuit, but when I got home to eat it was a sausage McMuffin, not what I ordered or wanted. Later, I just wanted a shake. I ordered from the kiosk and was happy I clicked "pay cash at counter" because after 5 minutes of standing at the counter I left. During that time I saw 1 employee who came out and called an order while dropping it on the shelf. Not even a glance my way. The kiosk was out of paper too, so that probably would have been fun, too. I finally got fed up with being totally ignored, a little over 5 minutes, which seemed like an eternity. Crazy, I actually love McDonalds but the two in Palm Desert are both terrible. read more

GENERAL MANAGER CELIA IS AN ABSOLUTE WINNER ! Her team is awesome, warm, welcoming and kind. I met Celia today and told her that this McDonald's was/is the " Gold Standard" for the famous chain. I conveyed that this specific location was the VERY BEST McDonalds I have ever visited!! The employees are excellent and exemplary. All working together so hard to ensure that the customers have a positive experience. I actually had better service at the restaurant than some of the fancy restaurants on El Paseo--SERIOUSLY. Celia and her team are a fantastic reflection on the McDonalds Brand. Senior management should recognize and reward Celia and her team for setting-the-bar in service and customer satisfaction. This Mc Donald's is located right off HYW 111. I used my app to purchase the app deal which is very similar to their current McDouble deal for $6. I also purchased kids meals at the front. Gentleman who rang me up was pleasant and courteous. They were very busy today. It is lunch time. They brought the food out very quickly. The deals are what brought us in. First time and I would mentioned that food took way longer 10-15 min but i understood that they had lots of customers inside (placed mobile order while waiting on table ) but my table was dirty but here's the positive point I will mentioned * employee was walking around checking trash can and cleaning tables and he looked at mine and approached and started cleaning I like that I didn't even had to mentioned that too him he just went and took care of it . * that huge line of costumer the cashier took care of them fast and efficient (Only 1 cashier was attending he kept his cool and kept on working). *Employee serving my food follow up by asking me if I needed anything which I replied a take out bag and they went and got me one . All I got was fries and a drink in the end and I do not have the time to drive all the way back there to get it. I ordered a sweetened iced tea and when I went to take a drink of my tea and it was unsweetened. I then took it back and asked them for a sweetened tea because mine was unsweetened. The woman working the counter was very nice and had went to go get me a new one. She handed me my drink and I thanked her.
