I've been coming to this Jersey Mike's for a while now, and they just keep getting it right every single time. The staff is always friendly and fast -- you walk in and they greet you with a smile and have your sub ready in no time. The ingredients are noticeably fresh, and the sandwiches taste like they were made with care. A big shoutout to D, the manager. He's a fantastic addition to this community. This is the location closest to our house and I have my partner go get sandwiches when it's a hectic day with the fam & they have not gotten my sandwich once. They either forget the sauce or the add ons you want. By the time I get home and check the sandwich I'm always disappointed because something is missing and don't have the time to go back. I have no idea why this location has such good reviews and the one down the street bad ones. We usually go to River rd and never had any issues with the taste or quality of our food. But we were at Lowe's so we tried it. It took way too long to make our food. I ordered 2 sandwiches while we were still shopping, the lady ahead of us took forever to pay and we had a full cart plus I walked over and I still had to wait for at least 10 mins past promise time. My husband and I both thought our food was not very good. He usually gets a chipotle mayo and for some reason I think they put it in a cup on the side? I got the chicken cheesesteak like I always do and since I get it in a bowl I was happy to see the bacon was chopped when the other location doesn't do that. However the entire thing was just terrible for some reason. I believe it was the chicken. I was afraid it might not have been cooked or maybe it was overcooked. Coming here and seeing someone got food poisoning off the hot sub makes me worry but it's been a few hours and I feel ok so maybe it's fine. This a Jersey Mikes. Food is always consistently good. I had a #13 mini. I was greated immediately, took my order quickly. They do a good job keeping you involved by asking questions about your order. Since this location has not been open for too long it looked good, was very clean. Definitely go back. read more

This review applies to this location only. Jersey mikes has always been a good experience for me and I do genuinely enjoy the food. But this most recent time marks the second time I have gotten food poisoning from this location. I didn't review the first time and called them to let them know just in case and give them the benefit of the doubt, but it has happened again unfortunately. I live close to the Jersey mikes on north river rd...I will now drive to the old grove location for food! On Monday Memorial Day I went to the store close to my house and it was about 9:45 am, there was staff there and I tugged on the door and realized I was early..no response from staff..drove to the Old grove location and I am so glad I did!! The store was open 7 min before 10am..I was greeted with warm and welcoming hellos! The sandwich there was amazing, fresh and delicious! I came back 2 hours later to order another sandwich for someone else and it was ready and waiting! The person that had the Turkey sandwich said it was absolutely wonderful best sandwich she's had from any Jerseys Mikes thus far! It was my first time at Jersey Mike's ever and they welcomed me warmly and guided me through the whole process. It was very cool to see them slice the meats for the sandwiches live and they are generous with the meat portions (super worth the value!) They give great portions of meat, veggies and sauces. First time in at this location. Heard it opened about 4 months ago. Very convenient for us. Stopped in on President's Day on our way home from camping in Anza Borrego. The young man who was working that day, didn't catch his name, but he has a beard & appeared older than the rest of the crew, was exceptional at customer service. He didn't just greet me and ask for my order. He asked how my day was going and what I was up to. When I told him we just came from camping, we chatted for a few minutes & he invited his co-worker into the conversation & found out her mom is an avid backpacker who just finished climbing Mt. Whitney! None of this took longer than the time to make my sandwich, but left me feeling valued & quite frankly, happy. So thank you chatty bearded man!
