Pepperoni overload! Ordered this for the team since we were looking at different places to try out. When ordered on a 3rd-party app, I did not expect that this place would be so generous on their toppings. When the pizza arrived, all I can say is that I did not see the cheese. The classic pepperoni pizza was filled and covered with pepperoni. I had ordered from them multiple times - when a specific ingredient runs out, they were kind enough to not charge us for the 1 pizza and provided us with an additional pizza as an apology. Ordered the small pepperoni pizza with no cheese because I'm deathly allergic(which I also highlighted in my order). Pizza arrives and it looks like there are small bits of cheese on the pizza or just grease chucks. Luckily I was able to pick around a couple of pieces and brought the rest home to my wife who confirmed that those were definitely cheese specks. I'm sure it is just cross contamination where the cheese is next to the sauce and pepperoni where they get a lil mixed. The pizza slices were thick crust, crispy and well-topped with a multitude of ingredients. The flavors were delectable. The mozzarella cheese was fresh and added to the overall taste of the pizza. The toppings of pepperoni, sausage, chicken, fresh veggies and other ingredients were well balanced and complemented the cheese. The salad bar was also well-stocked and included a variety of options such as a spring mix of greens, as well as olives, sunflower seeds, sliced hard boiled eggs, croutons, potato and macaroni salad, several choices of dressings and more. Oh and don't forget the bread sticks, also included. Overall, the buffet offered a good variety of options and the food was fresh and delicious. Well their Facebook ad worked! Got me in to try them out. Buy a drink on pie day n get a free mini pizza. Yes please. The lady working with awesome cool hair was knowledgeable and kept the place clean. She was nonstop even when they weren't busy. A customer boasted of how great and family oriented the restaurant is. Buffet weekly. 9.99 they said Got the mini pizza and wow. Thick and full of flavor. Great crisp and perfectly cooked. Only downside is their app makes you put in your credit card. No way. We love the pizzas from mountain mikes. They do not skimp on toppings, always hot and fresh. It does take a while but thats okay. We visited on a saturday night, Briane was the person behind the cashier, she was also the one serving and cleaning up. She was amazing, she was friendly, all smiles and accomodating even though there was quite a few people. Picking up orders and dining in. We had the garlic sticks with cheese and chicken luau. The garlic sticks kinda caught us off guard, we were expecting it to be "stick" but it was more of a pizza type. Still good though. Anyway, we'll be back, and order as well. Always a good place. Went in on a Friday night to support a fundraiser! It was my first time going in the pizza was absolutely delicious! I actually noticed that there was a good crowd that showed up to enjoy and kick off their weekend. A lot of people were dining in to watch the Padres game which is nice because it's family friendly staff members greeted and mentioned and asked if we were with the fund raising group. Which is nice because if you are having a fundraiser linked with mountain Mike's. It's nice to know that they are asking customers so that they can give proceeds and support. Ingredients are high quality. The salad was really good as well. Good place to go if you're looking for pizza with less bread and more toppings. I definitely will be coming back. read more

This is the second time I visited this location and I just realize they have a side dish bar that you can access, it was a good selection and the side dish bar was clean it looks fully stock and fresh! Overwhelming volume on the Spanish sports, to the point where it is extremely unenjoyable to sit in the restaurant! We ordered to go for this reason. The salad bar looks to be poorly maintained and not clean. I would not eat anything at the salad bar. Additionally, there was a coupon for 40% off a large pizza sitting on the counter when we ordered and because we'd already checked out the cashier refused to honor it. Good customer service would have mentioned it and offered it to us. Excellent customer service would have reversed the charge and rang us up at the 40% off price! This could have saved us $10. We will absolutely not return and do not recommend this place to anyone! Our first visit was our last! Updating this review: The manager commented below and to that I say - how is a first time, non local customer supposed to know that? You had PAPER coupons on the counter. A burger would have been better today sadly. I tried the McKinley, the everest and the classic cheese slice. It's a bad sign if the classic cheese was the best slice out of the three. The other 2 slices just made the pizza taste like mush. The topping itself didnt taste fresh, the flavors were slightly off. It really made me wonder if all the toppings were pre-frozen. I feel disgusted after eating these slices. The other major complaint i have is the sauce. Where is the sauce? Was this lightly sprinkled on as a garnish? The salad was your typical pizza place salad - nothing special but not bad. The boneless wings were what you would expect - just decent. Ever since "That pizza place" went out of business we've been looking for a replacement buffet pizza place. It's a new location& the place is small. They pack in a lot of tables& chairs for the space but need some outside tables. They give you one pizza& one salad plate to reuse. The staff is friendly& helpful. The pizza tastes good when it's immediately served but cools quickly due to weak heat lamps. The salad is fresh but the bar design makes it difficult to reach half of the ingredients because of the plexiglass. They carry Pepsi products, beer& wine. They have a lunch special with a sign outside that says 9.99$ but their display inside lists it for 7.99$. It's not a huge difference but it does show how much they've raised the prices in the very short time they've been open. In the back is a few games for the kids. Overall it was a fair experience& for those who like to over indulge on pizza you have an affordable place to do it. Update: After discussion with my wife I've lowered it to 3 stars. Her pizza was cold& she waited awhile to get one made she wanted. read more

All we had was pretty much just pizza, but I guess even that was too much. The sauce tasted bland, and the rest just tasted like a store bought pizza. I don't remember what pizza we ordered first from Mt Mikes but it was an Alabama or Arkansas or something and it was AMAZING! The second time we ordered the one with all the meats and olives, not as good as the first but still a good pizza. My recommendation is order online or to go, and go for the unique specialty pizzas-they seem to be a bit better than the classics.
