This review is for the LYNBROOK Jersey Mikes only: Ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 bags of chips through Grubhub. Got ONE sandwich and 2 bags of chips. Seems like not an easy mistake to make when there are 2 bags of chips in there, to pack only one sandwich. Seems suspicious to me. The bag was very sealed, so the grubhub driver couldn't have taken it. The receipt on the bag showed two sandwiches, so there was no mistake ringing it up. But hey, mistakes can be made. I called up. The manager asked my name and what sandwich was missing. When I told him, he promptly said "we'll refund your money", and promptly hung up. Well, it's two weeks later and NO money refunded . So I'm going to say it's quite possible that the sandwich I didn't get was given to some employee's kid, and maybe it's an occasional policy there to grab a sandwich from food delivery. Instead of wasting time pursuing the refund, I figured I'd spend it warning y'all not to do business with this Lynbrook store, especially for delivery. Let me also say this. Oceanside Jersey Mike's is better than this Lynbrook one in ALL ways: it's bigger, cleaner, has better employees who seem to care, and better fresher food. My advice: Oceanside is worth the additional travel if you're picking up and well, as far as delivery, to turn a phrase, at Lynbrook you DON'T get what you pay for. read more

No problem finding parking. Nice establishment, clean tables, and floors, but the counter where they make the sandwiches was a little messy. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I ordered ham and white American cheese lettuce tomatoes, no mayo oil, and vinegar on whole wheat bread. The bread tasted better than subways, but subways had more options for toppings like spinach, olives, banana peppers, green peppers, and cucumbers. I headed to Jersey Mikes for a #7 Turkey and Provolone sub, my toppings were, banana peppers , lettuce, onions, lite oil and vinegar. They opened at 10:00am I got there about 11:00 the tables were clean. Aside from the bunch of lettuces on my sub , it was pretty good , the bread was fresh. Staff is nice but some of the conversations they have should be tune down when serving customers. It's a lot of loud talking and laughter while making orders, which leads to them asking you to repeat the same thing several times. read more

This place is relatively new to the area. This location is the nastiest, dirtiest, and flirtiest place I have ever been to in a Jersey Mike's location. Everything about this Jersey Mike's in Lynbrook, NY, was disgusting. When I first walked in, I noticed how unclean it was. Meat is all over the meat-cutting machine, and the countertops are full of crumbs from the previous order. The area where they made Mike's way was in disarray; the floors behind the counter were stewed and littered with garbage. The staff was also nasty and filthy; their uniforms and aprons had more spots on them than a leopard's. Their attitudes were deployable with no Custom Service. There needs to be consistency when making your order. I have been there before and received the 10% Senior Citizens discount, but the Manager told me they don't give Senior Citizens discounts. Gave Jersey Mikes a try. I was in the area and heard good things but it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a while. Staff was very slow and cursing each other. Negative attitude to patiently waiting customers will not be tolerated. We've got many other options to choose from. Sandwiches better be excellent!!! First time at this location. It was a bit crowded so that's a good sign. I ordered a giant #9. I know there is a set amount of product on this sandwich so I really did not know how it works with all the other toppings. I requested additional toppings and there was a girl on this day 6/15/22 taking care of putting product on the sandwich and she never smiled, was not friendly and seem annoyed that I asked for some additional toppings and she even asked are you going to ask for more. Honestly, the sense of urgency at this location is low. I have been here over 30 mins and still haven't received my order yet. The store was packed when I walked in but with 6 people working behind the counter shouldn't have allowed the line to grow that long. There's no organization. I do admit the one male individual who was at the register jumped in to help making sandwiches, assisted at the grill, taking orders and cashing out. All the while he was asking his team if he could go to lunch. No one else attempted to do that. The young woman at the grill was moving like molasses although orders continued to pile up; not as much as the cold subs; which the young woman handled well. I either believe they need more management of time or urgency to understand this is a sandwich shop and not a restaurant. People should not be in here more than 20 mins to just order or even from the time they order to cashing out. The restaurant was messy. Dust and sandwich crumbs everywhere. 2. Card reader was broken and they only accepted cash. 3. Explicit YouTube music videos blaring. I'm a fan of all genres but Jersey Mike's is a family establishment. Explicit music should not be playing. Also, I'm sure the Performance Royalty Companies will not be happy about YouTube music playing in the establishment. Staff is VERY unprofessional/no manners. My staff and I will not buy from this location ever again. I buy lunch for my staff here once in a while. Today I asked the person taking my order if I could have the bread scoop out, before she actually started the order, and instead of her responding "yes or no" She rolled her eyes and gave me dirty look. I then asked if she heard me because she didn't respond to my question and proceeded to make my sandwich, and she responded, "YEAH WHY"???!!! What ever happened to customer service or people in general? Not sure if you can train people to have respect or common sense but this was disgusting! I came in here today, picking up for ubereats. I felt terrible for all the employees there. They were definitely short staffed and customers were not having it. Nasty, angry looking customers. I saw the staff were trying their best. Being in this industry is unforgiving but I have to give these employees props for never losing their cool. I don't know what the problem is at the Lynbrook location. The staff acts as if they are a participants in a prison work release program. Loud music, playfully cursing at each other, and not listening to customers with respect to what they want, or not want on their sandwiches. If you want a Jersey Mike positive experience, check out the Hempstead/Uniondale location, which is directly from Hofstra University. They obviously hire students there, that are more mature and courteous, and educated, as compared to the Lynbrook location. read more
