I've always heard good things about this place and I can see why, the Italian hero was really good. Nice, clean place with a variety of foods. However, upon walking in all I heard was a slew of cursing from a female behind the counter. Very unprofessional and leaves a bad impression. The older gentleman on the register was kind and helpful. Needless to say, I am so confused how they let the woman speak like that in front of customers. Do better and get the woman some anger management! read more

I used to love Brancard's but lately I've been feeling meh. I don't mind the slightly rude lady (owner? Manager?) I can get past the fact that even when there's a long line, there's always 2 male employees standing around conversing. I can get past the fact that over a certain time they have almost nothing left even if they have over 3-4 hours left of operating hours. I can get past the fact that for the first hour or so bagels aren't available. But I don't get that after coming here for years now- I still have the regular seniors skipping me in line, getting their order first and having to wait for them to finish their conversation of the weather to pick up when I call well in advance. I really tried and have been patronizing your business at least 3 times a week because I'm a local but seems like you have your ideal clientele already. read more

Great sandwiches. Great Coffee. If this pace was automated it would be great because unfortunately the staff (to be fair, not everyone but the people I've met) are racist. I went in to buy some coffee and a BEC and this young exotic looking woman came in right after me, then some young construction workers came in afterwards... the person behind the counter blatantly ignored her, avoided eye contact, asked EVERYONE in the store what their order was then shrugged his shoulders then asked "OK, what are you getting?" I really couldn't believe the treatment that she received in this store, I was appalled! I mean, I still paid for my sandwich and ate it before i even got down the block, but I feel like she could have been treated way better! The food is normally ok, but can be stale and definitely overpriced. The staff is friendly but this deli closes SUPER early. Their homemade oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies are good. read more

Sorry, I really do not want to have to say this but this Deli is not what it once was.The staff is unattentive they are rude especially the owner she said she was the owner Cindy was her name.They took a phone order and did not bother to mention they close at 6:00pm.I got there 5:50 pm and the doors were locked????How do you act this way? I had to run to Beckmans in Lynbrook.To my surprise Beckmans treated me with respect EXCELLENT service!!! Very rude and impatient with the customers at Branchards The potatoe salad is overly layered with mayonnaise at Branchards......I am shocked very annoying situation. read more

My experiences with this deli have been positive. Staff encounters have been positive and the food has been spot on. From what I found, they are one of the better priced options. The only reason why it's not a 5-star is because there have been some instances where I go in the morning for bagels or rolls but they ran out. Strikes me as odd though I always find a way to make do. read more

I went in here for the first time looking for good roast beef cuts. I walked in and the workers didn't even stop their conversation to help me. One of them was sweeping, without gloves and then cut my food without gloves. My order was not weighed, and I was just given a price. I have never seen this, and I'm disgusted. read more

I work in a local Valley Stream business and have been ordering lunch from Brancards for a very long time (years and years) They have one counter person who answers the phone and is ALWAYS rude. We liked their food so my company dealt with her rudeness and ordered from them hesitantly still. Well last week i called to place an order and their delivery guy was on vacation, i had a huge order and a job that doesn't always allow for me to leave my desk... so i said okay and hung up quickly to come up with a plan to place my LARGE company order and see if someone could pick it up. When i called back CINDY answered. She was so nasty and mean and spoke to me in an unheard of way. (all bs i hung up quickly to see if i could still place the order if there was not a delivery method) She even Called me " a F***king bitch. When and if you call this deli and she answers you will know even by the way she just says hello. I and my company will NEVER call there again. They lost 20 years of business from us. Yes,I agree the staff seems rushed not happy this Deli has changed in quality such a shame.They gave me the wrong the wrong sandwich when I came back with it,they claimed "No harm no foul" They tried to blame me for not checking it at the counter,(excuse me) Some woman with dark hair was so nasty I left the sandwich at the counter and left...their is a older gentleman who works the counter who is professional and is not about drama.This Deli is not what it was! read more

Love this place for their salads...their cole slaw, macaroni, potato, German potato and Bavarian potato salads can't be beat in the area. My husband says their coffee and breakfast sandwiches are good too. But really, their cole slaw is the bomb! read more

Recently moved into the area and had heard this is a great deli. I heard right! I ordered a large iced coffee which was delicious. For breakfast, I had 2 eggs scrambled with bacon and cheese on a roll with pepper and ketchup. As an added measure, I had a hashbrown filet put on the sandwich as well. It was amazing! I will be in here all the time now for breakfast and want to try them out for lunch too. read more

I can't complain the food is good a little pricey but I can get past it, the only complaint I have about the place is when you order a bacon egg and cheese they say "eggs bacon n cheese". This is New York! We say baconeggncheese in one word! Lol read more

4-5 times a week we stop into Brancard's for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They offer the best in Boar's Head meats and cheeses. Incredible fresh salad selection. A variety of soups. Desserts such as rice pudding, bread pudding, custards, fresh fruits, chocolate pudding, pies, and more. The lines may be long but the familiar people behind the counter take your order and make up your purchase fast and accurately. You can also fax in your order and have it delivered. We have also had Brancard's make up party platters, big heroes, and more. Highly recommended! read more

I have been going to Brancard's for almost 13 years almost everyday for breakfast, well and lunch too. I work in the area and Artie and the crew at Brancard's has become like a family to me. Lots of choices for lunch as well, fresh cold cuts, clean store and the best cole slaw, potato salad and macaroni salad. The Hawaian Chicken is awesome, the Turkey Jubilee is ree-donk-ulous and messy on a roll, which makes it better. Great food, I've been coming to this deli for 10 years. However, today I called ahead for one sandwich. I work down the block and I don't get a lunch break so I had just enough time to run over and pick it up. I told the lady on the phone i would be there in 10-15 mins. I get there and she tells me I need to wait in line, I told her that i had called ahead and already placed my order. I needed to pay quickly and get back to my job. I haven't seen her there before, maybe she's new, an older woman with shoulder length brown hair. She insisted i had to wait behind 7 customers who had yet to place their order. What is the point of calling ahead if i have to wait just as long as if i hadn't? I've never had this problem before. Not only was she unaccommodating but she was still making comments under her breath as I left. So I went back to work, then called to ask if there was a line so I could come, pay and leave. A different lady, this time the one who's always there with the two braids and a cap, was very polite and I was taken care of instantly. read more

I think this is an all around perfect Deli.It has been in the same family for second generation. Homemade food.!!!
