On my way to work and found this gem. Great little spot off of sunrise. Grab some hibachi to go. Clean, customer service is great, and chef is the owner. Great portions and clean food to keep it healthy. Will be coming again. read more

Hibachibachi is my go-to for fast, flavorful takeout. The food is just as good as their original Valley Stream location, which we love. The filet mignon bachi bowl is a family favorite -- tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kids like to mix it up with chicken and steak, or go for the shrimp bachi -- all solid choices. The portions are generous, definitely enough for leftovers the next day. I recently tried the Golden Katsu Ball with their "Golden Sauce" (a mix of the two house sauces pictured), and it was amazing -- crispy on the outside, packed with flavor inside. The staff are all friendly, and very pleasant. The inside is small and clean. They have a few tables but I haven't seen anyone actually eating there. Highly recommend if you're looking for quick, authentic, satisfying Japanese comfort food. read more

This is a nice small spot, not a lot of seating space. They have fresh water (with lemon slices in it) available for self service. (I'm picky with my water) It's the best tasting water, that's free, I've had in an establishment. Let's get to the food. I ordered the chicken bachi bowl and the gyoza (some gyoza is missing aka couldn't wait to eat it). It was all so very good. The chicken and broccoli was properly cooked and tasted so good. The gyoza didn't need the sauce that came with it. It was delicious. That's not to say the sauce is your usual sauce, the flavor was great. For the quality and price, I'll definitely be back. read more

Ambiance and overall look of the restaurant is very nice but the food did not wow me. It was pretty average- nothing special.

The hibachi was delicious and very filling. The cook didn't disappoint with his presentation either! My friends and I were very satisfied with the performance. Even a young kid next to me was having a blast. We all laughed taking turns getting the saki squirted into our mouths and trying to catch the food with our mouths. The place was clean and surprisingly, the place was not packed. It had more of an intimate atmosphere about it. Most of all, it was not expensive. read more

First time ordering from Hibachi Bachi. The online ordering process was easy and the time they gave us to pick up was pretty accurate. We enjoyed the pork gyoza, the salad was fresh and the bachi noodle was delicious. We had the shrimp and filet mignon bachi bowl. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and although the filet was cooked how we ordered it, medium rare, it lacked seasoning and was a little tough. The noodles were delicious. Our least favorite was the shrimp patty katsu sandwich. The shrimp was a little fishy, maybe next time I'll order the chicken. I would try again. read more

Insanely good hibachi take out restaurant that has hibachi, rice burgers, wings, fries, and milkshakes! They opened not too long ago, but their service is amazing and the food is all delicious. I LOVE hibachi, so I was so excited to try this place. Let me tell you that they did not disappoint! They also have a lunch menu, so check them out for lunch or dinner. It's the perfect place to grab and go during your lunch break or to eat when you're on the go! I will definitely be back again to try more of their items. Make sure to get the shots of spicy mayo! It definitely does have some heat, but it goes well with everything we got! Keiji, the owner is the best. He explained the menu and how he started his business with us. We wish him good luck with his new concept. Kiara also gives some great recommendations, so definitely ask her for those! Can't wait to be back soon! Always amazing when you go there. Can't get enough of it. Always good and cool to watch them cook it right there in front of you. Get the chicken shrimp and fried rice box read more

Incredibly mid. Got the steak hibachi; it was 1 possibly 2oz of unseasoned meat; cut into 4 or 5 small cubes that were like chewing through leather. They DO NOT give you yummy sauce automatically so if you do not want to have very dry food; you have to pay extra. The rice was odd and didn't seem like fried rice. It tasted like dry brown rice. The vegetables in it were just what seemed to be very sad, again unseasoned microwaved broccoli. Staff struggled badly to understand me on the phone and they were unpleasant at the counter. This is like a mall cafeteria counter and not really a vibe. For almost $19; never again. One and done. Someone else left a glowing review below; but I believe they also own the sit down restaurant in Valley Stream by the same name, (which is good and deserves that review). Also yummy sauce was not yummy. It was like a cup of mayonnaise with a dash of ketchup in it, but in no way tastes like the regular hibachi sauce. I give 2 stars bc it wasn't catastrophic and they weren't rude. Food wise, this is a 1 star or lower. read more

This is a newish fast casual location of the famed Inatome Steak house in Valley Stream. The menu is different and has innovative meals. There's a small eating space if you want to stay, and there's a small parking lot for 3 cars on the side. Just a couple of blocks to the LIRR, so a convenient place to pick up dinner! I tried their regular hamburger with a rice bun that tasted good. I will come back to try more of their bowls. A great place to have something different than the regular takeout you'll get elsewhere. The owner seems very personable too and cares about your opinion. read more

This is yet another big hit by the famed Inatome restaurant! I was anticipating for the opening of this takeout place for a long time- knowing Inatome always stands firm for the food quality and service, and sure enough- they lived up to my expectations! Growing up in Asia, I have tried the rice paddy burgers very often as it is popular in Asia. But I have never seen a "rice burger" in America since I moved here 20 years ago! When I first learned about the opening of this place, I immediately put it on my bucket list. Upon entering the location, the cleanliness and precision was evident! The owner Keiji was there to make sure that all the orders are served the right way and to the customers liking, which is a staple of the tradition! I was satisfied with the texture of the rice burger, and the paddy was cooked just right! The addition of the egg inside the burger just added a special touch to the burgers, I highly recommend it! The packaging of the burger wrapper is also very well-designed by the owner Keiji! I absolutely love the food you served, and hope that you will continue share the rice burgers tradition to the American people here! I cannot wait to go back! read more

I came here for takeout. I got the chicken and filet mignon, rice, broccoli, eggplant, and onions. It was okay. I also got an order of chicken and fries for a friend. For both meals, the meat was not flavorful enough. You taste some seasoning on the outside part, but when you chew into it, not well seasoned. The teriyaki sauce on the side helped. Service was great, front staff was nice. It's a takeout place, appeared clean. I hope they see this review as constructive, because the place has potential, the food is not terrible, just more love needs to be added during the seasoning process. I've eaten at their restaurant location before and it was excellent! read more

The best hibachi on Long Island, nothing else compares. Service is always attentive and friendly. They have the best ginger dressing. We often drive 45 minutes, passing many other Hibachi restaurants along the way, but it's well worth it. The restaurant itself is modern, clean and spacious. Already looking forward to our next return. read more

I really hope this place improves. The Inatome restaurant in Valley Stream has amazing food and service. My family has been eating there for over 40 years. I have spent many birthdays and special occasions at Inatome. I was excited that Keiji opened up a new take-out place in Lynbrook, but they really need to do better with the food. To start, parking isn't exactly that easy. The lot next to the restaurant only has a few spaces and it's a pain to try to turn onto Sunrise Hwy. I suggest parking behind Lynbrook village and walking over to this place. Be careful not to park directly behind the restaurant in the commuter lot. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely and looks great inside. A small replica of the Lucky Cat is there to greet people upon arrival. Workers are friendly, though need to be trained better. One of the girls working there was great and seemed to manage the place well. The other two were very immature and were unable to take an order independently. The other was busy on her cell phone. Some of the chefs seemed to have experience with the hibachi grill, though others seemed awkward and maybe need to train more. I'm sure once they are open for a few weeks those issues will improve as people gain more experience. The menu is pretty simple. I ordered 4 out of the 5 available appetizers. The edamame was good and a fair portion. The bar fried chicken was $8 and I was given a very small portion for the $$. It was just a few pieces and it was slightly over cooked. The 5 piece gyoza was okay though was cold on the inside. As in pre-steamed cooked, chilled, and then just quickly pan fried in the restaurant. I like gyoza nice and hot, this was refrigerator cold. The salad was okay though not as fresh as I would typically have while dining in the main restaurant. The salad dressing was only filled up half way and not enough for the entire salad. The burgers were interesting. The buns were made of sticky rice. Cool idea. My son got a steak hibachi burger. I thought it would be steak only, but it was a burger with hibachi steak on top. My husband got the shrimp hibachi burger, but there was no burger. Just shrimp on the rice bun. Unfortunately my husband could not eat it. The shrimp was not cooked enough (which I watched the chef cook the stuff and he clearly didn't leave the shrimp on the grill for that long...) and it tasted of bleach. I smelled the shrimp, and can confirm the bleach smell. WTF?!?!? It was a waste of money as my husband could not and did not eat it. My other son and I got bachi bowls. I thought this would be more of a Moes/Subway kind of thing where different toppings could be added to the bachi bowls but there were not many choices and each topping costs $ to add. The upcharge was not on the menu. The bowl was fried rice, a meat, and broccoli. I did not add any additional toppings for either of us due to the upcharge. The bowls were good, though it was too much rice for me. At that price point, they should offer whatever few available toppings as part of the bowl. The sauces were okay, though the teriyaki was some strange glob-like texture. The weirdest thing was getting spicy mayo in a syringe. I bought the large syringe of spicy mayo for an additional $3. My husband and I got a good laugh out of it. "Hey can I get 5cc's of gravy?" kind of jokes. I'm all into innovative ideas. But the syringe was bizarre. I'm hoping the food and service gets better so I can come back and write an improved review. read more

I love the Hibachi Combo, it's delicious and fresh every single time! I can save it for later and reheat it in the container which is awesome. I love the inatome restaurant and I go there every year for my birthday, and it's so great that now I can enjoy it on the weekends! I love the mustard, ginger and teriyaki sauces equally and I think everyone should try them. I haven't tried the burger yet but it looks exciting! This is my favorite place to eat read more

Ordered takeout for lunch. Asked for three items. It took a while for the order to be ready and I was on my lunch and was limited time. When my order was ready, I discovered there were only two items. I realize they didn't fully listen to me on the phone, and that was because they were in a rush and had 1 foot out the door as I was speaking to them. When it comes to takeout restaurants need to be more mindful of listening so that they don't mess up like this. Now I'm out of lunch as I sit here with my daughter on her birthday to enjoy a nice lunch thank you hibachi read more

Never really thought to grab a burger in a Japanese restaurant but I'm glad I did. The burgers here are fantastic and unique because they served on a rice bun. Don't let that deter you because it is really really good. read more

The service and quickness was great but the food was not. This food isnt at all Hibachi. I've been to several different hibachi restaurants as hibachi is one of my favs and it tastes nothing like Hibachi. I ordered the "Hibachi fried rice & steak" The rice doesn't taste right and I was given 4 tiny pieces of steak strips with regular broccoli. Wont be returning, Cute little place though. read more

Inatome's Hibachi Bachi is a delightful mouthful to say and it's burgers are equally so to eat. We enjoyed omakase at Inatome in Valley Stream Friday night while visiting family. Our sushi chef recommended Hibachi Bachi, owned by the same man who owns Inatome. For anyone living a Gluten free lifestyle this restaurant offers a delicious, unique burger experience that is a great go to. The burger is constructed using 100% beef, no fillers or add-ins, just Janowski's pure beef, an intriguing "bun" made with rice and tamari sauce that is grilled to crispy deliciousness and comes with or without cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce and sauce choices like Teri butter, katsu or spicy Mayo. Fried egg can be added for a nominal fee. I had the Meltdown Cheeze Hamburger with onion, tomato, lettuce with the Teri butter sauce. My husband had the hamburger with onion, tomato, lettuce and spicy Mayo. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's such a cute place, the owner is so friendly and the burger was really tasty. read more

We finally got around to trying this place after a few failed attempts. I think this place falls under that category of "its a good idea but the details could use some work". The concept is unique enough for the area to get people excited about it. The staff were nice and the place is updated. It's a takeout spot, simple as that. So I wont comment on the parking or seating etc. My only real gripe is with the food. EVERYTHING we had just needed some more seasoning and a little more attention to detail. Wings were decent but the sauce has little to no flavor. The shrimp burger has some decent flavor but that's almost exclusively because of the fried shrimp. I had the regular hamburger without cheese. Not a stitch of seasoning to be found on that patty. Just a "soft" cooked beef patty, put a little crust on that thing! Grey on the outside and barely cooked inside. The thing with the burgers is they are between two pieces of plain white rice patties so you really need to punch up the flavors to offset that. As an aside because the beef patty was so under all the juices turned the rice buns into mush. You are better off getting it well done. Also, do you know what happens to lettuce when it's squeezed between a hot rice bun and a hot hamburger that's wrapped in paper? Please put the lettuce on the side. Also, considering a slice of tomato as a separate topping you have to pay for is a bit much. The fries were nicely cooked but again there wasn't one grain of salt on any of them. Look I'm not expecting fast food levels of sodium but just some care and flavor thrown in when preparing. The saving grace for all these was the thick teriyaki sauce it came with. We poured that on everything but then again should we have had to? I don't like being so negative for a new place and I do think its a great concept that's unique but they definitely need some fine tuning in the taste department. read more
