Don't get me wrong about the food, it was great. But the service on the other hand? Terrible. A lady took my order and I sat down and I guess another waiter didn't know my order was already taken and walked behind me and said "so are you eating here or what"...why else would I sit down after coming from the register? She then started asking about drinks and tips and said "if i could afford it" are you kidding? me.. POC avoid this restaurant. Do not go here!!!!! I ordered food to be delivered today and the Seabass was not fresh. I noticed it and my daughter in law noticed it immediately. Be aware: the delivery driver was in such a hurry he backed into my driveway and barely stopped a hairs breath from hitting my parked car in the driveway. When I called the restaurant to let them know, they were incredibly hostile and non-cooperative. Xaga was pretty amazing I must say. The service, food and ambiance leaves me Wanting more. The waitress was accommodating and I did to wait too long for my food. The menu is pretty huge. From 1-3 they have a lunch special for $15!!! I had the spicy tuna roll, crunchy salmon roll and a tuna avocado, it came with miso soup & ginger salad it was fresh and tasty. I ordered a yellow tail sushi roll, spicy tuna, Tokyo roll and shrimp tempura... I never got my yellowtail because they tried to pass off yellowtail as tuna smh. Instead of removing it from the order they just charged me for what I didn't want and refused to replace it because I ordered thru Uber eats. Xaga is a very nicely decorated japanese/Chinese, Asian fusion restaurant in the five towns of Long Island. My sushi rolls were all very nice sized and the fish was very fresh. We also got a a rib eye bento box which was filled with assorted items and a nice piece of steak. The bento box came with a soup and salad. I already ate a lot that day because my job had a bake sale and I ate a good share of sweets from the bake sale, but a girl's gotta eat regular dinner too right? I needed to grab my dinner really quick after work before I got on my train. I have the kind of job where sometimes it's not appropriate for me to be on the phone unless the call has to do with work or if I'm taking a break and making a call. So ordering online was a plus I didn't have to worry about stepping away for a phone call dinner order. I had the avocado salad, the avocado and peanut sushi roll and Vegetable tempura. The vegetable tempura was fried to perfection, the avocado salad was a nice size portion with fresh veggies and a good sized avocado. The peanut sushi roll was deliciously crunchy and wonderful. I ordered shrimp sushi and it taste like they prepared it on the same board with other raw meats. Within 15 minutes of consuming it, my stomach rejected the food and it came right back up. Such a clean place and perfect for a date or even going alone. The bathrooms are clean and are gender neutral. The drinks are good and although they may not feel strong at the money, they absolutely kick in. The edamame and steamed pork gyozas are good to start off with. Tried the sesame chicken for the first time here and it was wellllll worth it. The portion size for the price is amazing. It's real chicken too! And isn't dry meat. The chicken is drenched in sauce but covered just enough. The sushi rolls are great. My only problem is all of the tools look good so it's hard to narrow down. Great spot! read more

The service stepped up considerably or maybe its because I started sitting at the sushi bar.
