Lychee martini and the extra in a small shot glass.
    Monique M.

I was greeted at the door which I appreciate and seated right away. Service was great and attentive during lunch time. Food was good (I had pineapple fried rice and sushi) and my lychee Martini was strong as well. Ambiance was cool. A few people sat by the bar and another small group of 3 was nearby. I like places where I can enjoy a meal by myself and read or listen to podcasts.

MOCA is an Asian Fusion Bistro I call it the " New Hyped up Chinese Food " (There are several of these restaurants look on their site for updates ) it's very good and the restaurant has great ambience! You are NOT getting the old classics here lol! Some of my favorites starting with the MOCA Nut alcoholic beverage very delicious! Next for appetizers it's the Thai Crab cake for Rocky and I'll have the Beef Baby short ribs, sometimes I just have drinks and appetizers! Main courses Sangria crispy duck, an order of pineapple fried rice or Rock shrimp Tempura. These are our faves but they have an extensive selection including Sushi! Delicious desserts too ! Free On site parking, good service Enjoy!

Upon arrival the hostess was on the phone and we had to wait for a formal greeting until they both completed their phone call. But, The ambiance was very relaxing and the staff were friendly. As for the food I will say everything we ordered was very fresh and was flavorful. I would definitely return and try another amazing fish.

Sushi was delicious! We had the volcano along with several classics: California, Boston and shrimp tempura. All were fantastic. The waitress was helpful but could have been more involved. Overall the restaurant was private with several divisions and booths but it was mostly empty at the time we were there. Overall it was pricy but we left content and satisfied.

    Duck Tortilla (5pcs) Vegetable Tempura

I went to MoCA for first time and had dinner there with my sister. I was disappointed not to see a bento box option for dinner. Since I wanted to try a sampling of dishes I ordered 5 appetizers. The portion sizes varied with the short ribs and pork spare ribs having most to eat with duck tortilla being the smallest. Vegetable tempura was fried to perfection but lacked flavor. It needed some salt and the dipping sauce was not enough to save it. They did not have jasmine tea only green tea and I enjoyed my unsweetened iced tea. The food came in three intervals with our plates changed each time which was great. However I think they were short staffed with only one served working 10 tables so he only came when the food came and refilled my iced tea once. It was nice not to be rushed but the lag between the dishes left us eating more of the earlier dishes with little room for the last two dishes. The grilled chicken satay was dry and only the fish and beef satay tasting better. Tempura veggies you only get one of each veggie and the duck tortilla I felt the avocado and hoisin sauce overpowered the duck. The peanut sauce for the satay was runny and the best dish of the night was the beef short ribs. The pork spare ribs were tender and came off the bone nicely but the sweet and sour sauce tasted like America bbq sauce. My mom makes Chinese bbq spare ribs better than the restaurant. Ambience was nice but tables and booths are close to each other so it can get loud. It was a fun experience but I would like to try lunch next time.

**Updated Review!** I use to love dining at MOCA until today. My husband found a ROACH in the RICE early in the meal. Thank goodness he saw it before taking ANOTHER bite . Needless to say we left the establishment immediately and will not be back! This was such a disappointment!

Ambiance was above average, above chain restaurant but below fine dining. Hostess was in the front but walk out from the back about 2 minutes later. She immediately took another group without asking who was here first. I didn't make a stink about it but I was a little annoyed. Food was decent, and packed some flavor. Server was bland and not too engaged in her job. Upon finishing, I asked for dessert menu. I looked it over, didn't like any choices. I may have said something about wanted crème brûlée and suddenly she says "oh we have crème brûlée" but it isn't on the menu. All in all, solid place to visit on the weekday.

It's very clean, and smells clean, (not sure about the bathroom didn't go in there) they have great Jazz music playing! It's a good atmosphere. Lots of parking, I had no trouble getting parking. Two of my friends left food on their plates, I and the other two didn't leave anything safe to say the food is pretty good. I had the Avocado salad I enjoyed the dressing they put on it, could have gone for more lettuce though. I also had green tea, I love that they bring you the whole tea pot and not just a cup of tea, it's so annoying to have to wait for hot water. They get a 3 star because they had a cook/chef walking through the dining room wheeling trash..... that is not comforting... I don't want to see anyone who handles my food taking out the trash while I'm eating.... They need a busser or something to handle that, not someone who is cooking the food. Also, their staff isn't super friendly, y'all know I'm big on service. Now that I went to a Korean BBQ spot that had AMAZING service they've raised the bar for other food spots.

I heard their happy hour specials are great, so I need to come back for that! 2 adults and one kid on a weeknight. Large space, beautifully decorated, friendly and helpful staff. The food and drinks we tried were delicious. 2 of us each had a bowl, one had 3 tacos, plus we shared guacamole w chips. 2 shared churros and one had gelato. Dinner ordering and service went great, but they seemed to have forgotten to put in our dessert order. We waited a VERY long time. While we were waiting for dessert a could servers were nearby cleaning other tables, not checking on us. Eventually we were able to call one over to check on our dessert order. It finally arrived soon after that.

We were a party of three without reservations and were seated right away. We started with chips, guacamole, and the red and green salsas. The chips are more like thin tortillas and were the perfect pairing with a cold beer. For tacos, we tried the duck, pork belly, mojo pork, fish, and chicken verde. The portion size was just right--enough to try a few and still leave full without feeling heavy. The fish taco was one of the best I've had: perfectly crispy with a great crunch, balanced with slaw and sauce. The mojo pork was also really flavorful with a great sauce. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside was that the bathrooms were a bit messy. On a positive note, we noticed dogs outside, which is great if you're looking for a dog-friendly spot. Overall, great tacos, fun atmosphere, and we'll definitely be back.

A really intimate place, with probably like 15 tables max inside, and a little bar that can sit also about the same amount of people, but still looks new and fresh, and also be on the lookout because when you're driving the place sneaks up on you. The friendliest service, Lauren who seated us and served us was truly genuine, and I told her I really appreciate that as most restaurants don't have that sense of personal customer service, actually noticeable and appreciated. The food was also really good, the dip was flavorful, could be a little warmer but still very good, the chips were next level, and this was a huge hit. The calamari was lightly breaded, and also I do appreciate the two sauces to choose from when dipping, either Kung Pao or Marinara. I got the Pastrami Rub Tuna over Scallion Mash, and when I first looked at it I thought the fish piece was a bit small, but after eating it, it was the perfect size, and the mash was delicious, and the Wasabi Sauce to dip the fish really made the dish Pop. Drinks were okay, started with a kick and boozy but finished a bit watery for my first one, the second one I had with Mescal was a 10/10 though. This place needs attention, and the fact that it is still pretty low key and food influencers haven't descended to blow up it's spot is awesome.
