Yoho Japanese is DELICIOUS & you MUST TRY!! Ive had my eye on Yoho ever since they opened I really wanted to try! finally last night was my chance to try it for dinner and they did not disappoint!!! everything was cooked to perfection and the food came in a reasonable time. They included all utensils and chopsticks, which I loved because it makes it easier to just chow down! The website is also very easy to order on.I really enjoyed my experience with Yoho! I've ordered from here a few times for delivery. Their delivery is always super quick and everything comes packed well and fresh. Their sushi is good,very fresh and the rolls are tight. I love their bento boxes. The person who delivers Is always pleasant. read more

First time here, can't believe they said they've been here 3 years. Wonderful women running, had a Negimachi Bento Box, Miso soup and a salad. My wife had Yoza or however that dumpling is spelled and an ramen dish. All the dishes were excellent, including the complementary Kani salad, which I've never had at any Japanese restaurant on L.I. This newly opened sushi spot screams 'takeout' as its no-frills, downright spartan vibe tells you food here is better enjoyed elsewhere. Not much thought and effort were put into the dining experience. The space provides basic seating and lighting with minimal decor. The service was spotty at best as there was only one server who was busy preparing takeout orders. Our order took forever to come out and they served my Diet Coke can at room temperature. Having said all this, there are 2 reasons to consider this place: price and food quality. Sushi and warm food were actually good at affordable prices. Variety is impressive for a restaurant this small. I've never gone back to dine at Yoho but have ordered takeout 3 times since. It is even better that they do delivery. read more

got delivery, was super fast, order was accurate, miso soup is a huge portion, the house salad ginger sauce was a touch watery but good, the rolls were large and the sushi dinner platter had really large pieces of fish- personally I like the sushi more thin but it was a bigger portion and I can see why people would like that! read more

Drive to RVC or Lynbrook for much better food. A few local folks had recommended here so i figured i would give them a go too. I love ramen and sushi, so having a new restaurant much closer to home is a bonus. Sadly the food is bland and missing a whole lot of flavor. I had the panhandle sushi roll and there was no flavor or stand out flavor from at least one component. The tonnkatsu ramen was bland also and had corn in it. I asked for spicy so they gave me an oil on the side which had no spice at all. I would love for them to win because not many restaurants make it here. But i definitely will not be using my hard earned money here. Two dishes and both lacking. I'll just drive to 8Ramen or NiRamen. I'm always happy there. read more

There is no decent Japanese in this part of Baldwin so when we heard this place opened recently we headed over to check it out and we were definitely pleasantly surprised (btw if you park in the back parking lot and look for the back entrance there is no sign. Just a sort of Hello Kitty picture on the back door). There were plenty of people coming and going with Takeout orders while we were there so the word is definitely out. The Ramen soup was very flavorful, the sushi was fresh, spicy California roll had crunchies and was one of the best I ever had, and the edamame, gyoza and salad were yummy. Everything was delicious, the place was clean although spartanly decorated, but the staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely our new neighborhood Japanese joint. read more

New restaurant in town so I had to checked it out. The shrimp noddle stir-fry was delicious. It was so fresh and it came out piping hot. We also got the K2 roll, a spicy tuna roll and a spicy salmon roll. I liked the K2 rolls particularly because of the freshness of the mangos on top. Unfortunately, I did not care for the other rolls as these had way to much rice and the sushi inside was way too mushy. The service was wonderful though and the price was excellent. I do plan on returning and trying their other stir-fry's and specialty rolls. read more

on entering the restaurant I was greeted by a hostess who was very polite and professiona. The menu was extensive and every dish was clearly explained. I had fried rice with beef and shrimp combined. I really wanted to love Yoho. But not yet. Highlights of some items we ordered. Pork katsu was done with a nice crunch but bordering on dry. Served with commercial BBQ sauce which was a disappointment. The sashimi. *sigh* The fish was fresh enough but the chef doesn't know how to cut it. Slabs of fish were just ... not good. Unpleasant to chew. Then there was the thing marked FREE. We don't know what it was but it wasn't good. We will give them one more try. read more

The customer service was %100 very friendly and welcoming. The food presentation was great I had the salmon teriyaki lunch box. I got a nice big piece of salmon over veggies and many sides for the price. Alot of food! Everything taste delicious . I will be back! read more

We placed a large take out order for us and our guests. The online ordering system was easy to use and our order was 100% correct. My brother picked up the order and said everyone was very friendly. Plus, when he goes to pay they tell him he can get free edamame or a 20% discount for spending over $50. He took the discount which I don't know if it's a limited time promotion since it's a new place, but what a nice surprise. The beef Negimaki teriyaki and chicken teriyaki were huge portions of meat. They were delicious too. Others ordered hibachi dinners which were smaller potions of meat but also came with a salad, rice, soup, etc. I didn't get to try all that yet. The salads looked fresh and come with ginger dressing. The ginger dressing is not the bright orange kind most places have but I took a taste and it was good too! Prices were generally reasonable even before the discount. We will definitely order again! Edit: I see with my leftovers that the salad does have the orange ginger dressing which was great, there is also a brown ginger side sauce too that is also good. Maybe ask for both :) read more

Yoho was delicious!!!! Highly recommend for a sushi lunch or Ramen dinner. Our waitress (maybe owner) was the sweetest woman and the sushi chef was just as great. The service was fast and kind. All of the food was fantastic and served with great presentation. I can't get over the sweet spicy mayo on the spicy tuna wontons. All the rolls we had (King, Pink Lady, Long Island, salmon avocado, and eel avocado) were fresh and delicious. And the soup portions were huge. We were even given these cute little chopstick holders on our way out. Please stop in and give Yoho a try, you won't regret it! read more
