He put giant scoops of tobiko and scallions and was visibly upset when I said I didn't want that in my bowl. He tried to pick it all out and was getting visibly annoyed. I told him never mind because at that point I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. He slammed the bowl down to throw it away and begrudgingly made a new one. That was not the way to handle the situation. Tobiko and scallions are listed separately as extra toppings, so I'm not sure how I was supposed to know that they include that in their spicy tuna.

The place clean and cute and of course, packed and full of life. The staff upbeat and friendly which is what we love! Unfortunately I had to give them one less star for this rating (compared to my previous 5 star) because their bubble tea changed, not only their packaging but their quality. The cup felt flimsy, like if you squeeze too hard might pop the cover off, no big deal if the actual drink is great, then you bypass this BUT unfortunately this has to be one of the saddest bubble tea drinks I've had in a while. The drink was warm!!! Ugh, the ice was added last so therefore it melted immediately and so by the time it got to me, warm... I'm like ok I can add ice at home lol .. I had the mango and my boyfriend the peach. Both flavors were good, but both warm with ice is just not the same. We had it with tapioca bubbles and mango/peach popping boba. The popping boba was good but the tapioca pearls were SOOO HARD and a weird orange see through color so either they weren't ready or they were old! They were so hard they kept clogging our straw and couldn't sip our drink... everything about it was just a disappointment, I was so sad because I've been going there for years and I've loved their bubble tea and never had that problem! Anyway, go for food, skip their bubble tea.

The lady rolled her eyes and said why. I had to insist on receiving plates. There is a male server and he is the sweetest person and never an issue. Absolutely worth it and I'll be going back! We got the stuffed calamari (so good that we ate it before taking a pic), steak tacos and the katsu sandwich. Honestly, each app was BUSSIN BUSSIN. I was so surprised. The flavors were amazing, great portion and they came out in a nice timely fashion. If I could eat that sandwich everyday I would . The ramen was pretty good but it wasn't the star of the show. The surprise star was the green tea crème brûlée. Top 3 desserts I've had for the year honestly. Ambiance was very nice! The broth is out of this world and there's generous amounts of bok choy, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, spinach vermicelli noodles and tofu.
