This is a great walk-in sushi spot with seating available, but more of a casual grab-and-go style than a full sit-down restaurant--and it really delivers where it counts. The sushi tastes extremely fresh, with clean, high-quality fish that doesn't have any off or overly "fishy" flavor. Everything feels carefully prepared, even in a more informal setting. The rice is well-seasoned and the rolls are balanced, not overloaded or messy. Even though the setup is simple, the quality of the food stands out. It's the kind of place you can quickly stop by and still feel like you're getting something made with real care and good ingredients. Definitely a solid choice if you want fresh sushi without the formal dining experience. read more

My favorite sushi place. Small but you can eat there. Great for takeout. Love their specialty rolls. Soho and Noho. Their space shuttle and volcano rolls are my go to orders. They have great sushi appetizers as well. read more

This place is such a hidden gem in RVC. Always fresh and they don't skimp out on the fish ! The service is always good and they are super fast. It's a cute little place to sit but I mostly take it to go. read more

I finally got my family to try their sushi. They fell in love with it as much as I do. We ordered spicy crunchy tuna, spicy crunchy salmon and birthday rolls. Wow Sushi is GREAT sushi . The fish is always fresh and the owners are always really friendly. It's such a pleasure read more

My first time buying sushi at this location and the food was good. The sushi was fresh and tasty. I would recommend and go back again.

Fresh! Can't say it's the absolute hands down best I've ever had, but very good. Prices aren't bad either. I like that their rolls are unique and not just copying every other sushi place in the area. Will definitely be back. read more

This places services great Sushi and tastes so good. They made it fast and specializes in different types of sushi.

i've been here like 10 times so far and every single time the fish is so fresh I only eat raw sushi and there's salmon and tuna are amazing!! nice local spot decent prices & they are always quick with pick up !! I also never leave reviews. I just literally love this place so much. read more

Okay, this is my second time trying this place and although the food is great they messed up my order both times!! The first time i traveled all the way back because I asked for no avocado (i can't eat it, i know, i know) but i was so adamant that i was allergic and they still put it on. They were nice about it and extremely apologetic. This time, i get all the way home and there is no wasabi or ginger. I was so upset because i love putting the wasabi and ginger on my sushi... it just enhances it in the right way lol I didn't even think to check my container before i left because it's really just automatic! The sushi was still great but Idk... maybe third times a charm -_- read more

Ordered some party platters from Wow for a party this past weekend. These folks really know what they are doing!! Both from the standpoint of freshness and presentation on a score of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest - they are a solid 11!! read more

Wow is a great name for this spot. The sushi is very fresh and prices are reasonable. We ordered the Yellow tail Urusukuri, pork dumplings, and the amazing Tiger Special Roll. Everything was sooo good. It's a fairly small place yet near and cozy. I loved the mural on the wall. I'll be back for sure to try other rolls. read more

The freshest quality sushi/sashimi around! All my rolls and sashimi were delicious. Nice service and fast delivery

This is still the best sushi in the area, and the quality of the fish compares with the top sushi places in NYC that are much, much more expensive. This is truly one of the best sushi places i've ever been to. The tuna is consistently very fresh, pink, and the rest of the fish is the same. The lunch special and fair prices on special roles truly make this a gem. If you're within 30 minutes, drive for it. Its a hole in the wall that's better than all the fancy Japanese restaurants where you pay for the ambiance. Just got some for lunch after moving out of the area and thought "damn, this is so good I need to update that review and remind people". read more

This place is a gem. The food is amazing and always fresh. The service is quick and efficient and they are very patient when I can't decide what I want. I love ordering from here. I've tried probably 75% of the menu and it's all phenomenal. read more

I really don't like giving bad reviews, but this place was aa huge disappointment. My gf and I ordered 3 different rolls and pork dumplings. My sweet potato roll was not aa sweet potato roll and tasted like literal plastic. The Philadelphia roll tasted very fishy and my gf had a hard part in the salmon at one point, which looked disgusting and completely ruined our appetite. The steak roll we had the steak was completely dry, and the dumplings were cold and tasteless. read more

The Sushi is average here, but when dining in the service is horrible. The last visit really turned us off. You also have to walk through the kitchen/back area to use the bathroom. Going forward we'll stick to our regular nagahama or Jr. Asian Fusion. read more

Good food- friendly Can eat. In but very limited space Sushi was fresh and delicious! Will definitely return read more

Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Very fresh, and great portion. Almost no filler at all in the rolls. The ONLY reason this isn't a 5 star review is because of the price. I got 3 rolls, and a green tea and it came out to $23. Not including any soup or salad. Comparing this to the usual lunch specials at other places which is normally 11.99-12.99 this was very overpriced. I asked about the lunch special but there seemed to be a language barrier (or pretend language barrier). The woman running the shop was very sweet, and they gave me a piece of a new menu item to try while I waited. The interior is small with limited seating so I wouldn't suggest coming here for a nice sit down vibe. But for takeout I can say the quality and taste of the sushi is outstanding. Will return and (hopefully) get the lunch special price. read more

I picked up here during the pandemic. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was very good. I have never had anything like this. The sauce on it was very great. I was disappointed with the pick up wait and the fact they forgot my miso soup. But this might be because they were crazy busy. read more

Love the food here. I used to get the chicken teriyaki and it was always delicious. At the urging of my friends, I decided to try some California rolls, as I usually dont like regular sushi. I was blown away by how fresh the rolls were! So good and the prices are super affordable. Love being a repeat customer at Wow Sushi! read more

The Best sushi in RVC! It's not a fancy sit in place but you do get to sit and watch the chefs prepare your roll. The sushi is delicious and tastes fresh. They have some unique rolls and every time I go in I can never decide what to get. I always feel welcomed when I come in. The only draw back that I have is that they close early, I wish they'd close a little bit later especially on weekends. Many other sushi places around the area cannot be compared to the delicious rolls this place has. read more

First time going to wow and I was impressed. I ordered 3 pretty basic rolls. The California, Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon. All were made very well and the fish was fresh. The roll size portion were above average. I've noticed other restaurants skimping due to the economy. Not the case here! I didn't ask for extra wasabi but they gave it to me .. it didn't go to waste! Overall a very good take out place.. I'll be back! read more

This is probably the best sushi place in Nassau County. The fish is always really fresh, the people are always really nice, and everything is as accomodating as possible. If it's a slow night they will even make custom orders if they can and they do it happily to boot. Honestly, I was worried there wouldn't be good sushi in this area anymore since Taiko closed down but I'm glad I was wrong. On top of this, their fish is even fresher. Like really, their fish is excellent. Sometimes a place just does really good special rolls, but their pieces are mediocre. Not Wow Sushi. They're top quality in EVERY aspect. Can't recommend this place enough. Looking forward to the next time I go there. read more

Wow Sushi - The fish here. Is so. FRESH. It's actually absurd how delicious everything is here. - Seafood Markets Near Me - Rockville Centre, New York

Just consumed a delicious Poke Bowl from WOW. It was fresh and flavorful. My lips are tingling for the spicy deliciousness. Ate it too fast to take a pic - too bad because it looked beautiful too. read more

Update - I dont wanna blow up my favorite spot but please go here and get the fire ball appetizer. It is meatballs of spicy tuna topped with avocado and crunch. I wish I took a picture but I ate them too fast, one of my favorite sushi creations ever. This is a bold statement to make; though I shall stand behind it. I proclaim this as the best sushi in the RVC area. The rolls are huge and everything is stuffed with fish, no filler. The perfect ratio of everything and super fresh. The name is so warranted, WOW every time! read more

Super fast delivery to RVC & the special rolls and lunch specials are amazing deals. Can't wait to try more!

Place used to be great. Quality is still good but the customer service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Women that answer the phones are atrocious and need to learn how to take orders. Rude and obnoxious. read more

Wow. What an exaggeration. I am still sitting here waiting for my tea. I mean, it's only been 30+ minutes. I walked in. Place was empty. Got weird looks and sat down. Took about 10 awkward minutes for someone to ask me what I'd like since I didn't have a menu. I ordered a salmon teriyaki bowl and some green tea. I received a miso soup. Don't remember ordering but it was yummy. When I received my plate, not bowl, it was hot cooked salmon. Dang. I thought it was going I be nigiri or just raw cut salmon. Ok. I'll give it a chance. It was ok. Salmon was pretty dry. I ate most because I was hungry. But I would never come here again. I just want my tea right now. read more

One of the best, if not the best places to get sushi in Rockville Centre!! The owners are incredibly nice and do their best to make sure that you enjoy their food and service. I have been coming here forever and their sushi and specialty rolls never disappoint. They also make an effort to make creative and original sushi that you will not find at other restaurants. They also have a variety of authentic Japanese foods that are perfect if you are looking for something other than sushi. , or are interested in trying something new!
